The route has been peppered with seven, fun activity stations. These stations are entirely optional and include tyre flips, parallel bars and a water cannon which is popular on hotter days.
Not your average trail
The Active@Almenkerk trail is designed to be accessible to all ages and levels of fitness. It is safe, circular, and clearly marked. It is 5km in total with an optional extension of 2km for those wanting a longer excursion. The route is suitable for trail runners but also perfect for those wanting a more leisurely outing in nature.

Wine farm adventure trail in Elgin join us
All proceeds go towards the clearing of alien vegetation on our farm. Permits cost R40 per person at our Tasting Room (kids free).
All visitors (of drinking age) are offered a complimentary glass of wine, on completion of the trail.
