>> Feed the Frontline Do you want to help the frontline staff at SOMC and local restaurants during this pandemic? You have the opportunity!

Our heroes work the frontlines of COVID-10 and spend long hours away from their families. They often miss meals or are too tired to think about eating. Luckily, our heroes have their own hero: you.

The SOMC Development Foundation will purchase gift cards to distribute to those brave healthcare heroes. Help us help them as 100% of all donations will go towards this project. It may seem like a small donation from you, but it will make a difference for our heroes and the community. Will you join us as we feed our frontline and help our local restaurants? To make a donation, visit www.somc.org/feed-our-frontline/

>> SOMC Friends Center Reopening The SOMC Friends Center is officially reopened! With new updates, the Friends Center team is excited to welcome back guests.

Please contact the Friends Center Coordinator, Kelli Johnson, at 740-356-6160 to book your next event or meeting space.

Our mission is to make a difference by identifying the community’s health and wellness needs while bridging the gap between those needs and the cost of the solutions.

William celebrated a milestone birthday in September which is similar to the love he has shared and is still sharing with our SOMC Hospice Inpatient Center. William was instrumental in making the dream of our hospice center come true in 2007. He has never wavered with his support for our hospice program as he continued to support our most recent Hospice Expansion Project, making that plan a reality as well! Happy birthday, William!

The SOMC Development Foundation encompasses fundraising efforts for Hospice, Cancer, Employee Relief, Heart & Vascular, Pediatrics, Community Health and Wellness, the Endowment Fund and the areas of greatest need. These funds generate much needed support and enable SOMC to continually deliver extraordinary care for future generations to come. We consider it our responsibility to serve our community and we take pride in doing so.
