3D Accuracy

It took more than 30 years for digital mammography to displace film. Today, 3D is the definitive standard in mammography, recognized as the most accurate screening tool available. It gives the radiologist the equivalent of more than 60 images of breast tissue in “slices” to interpret, much like an MRI.
AI Analysis
Artificial Intelligence software rapidly analyzes each individual 3D mammogram image or slice, flagging potential malignant lesions and areas of concern for the radiologist. AI gives the radiologist an additional tool in detecting early-stage breast cancers.
The AI software that Solis Mammography uses has been trained with one of the largest 3D image datasets, with a reference of hundreds of thousands of cancer images.

It matters who reads a mammogram. At Solis Mammography, all screening and diagnostic mammograms are interpreted by fellowship-trained breast radiologists who are subspecialized in breast imaging. Fellowship-trained breast imagers have been shown to be more accurate. Not only do they have the highest detection rates they also call back less frequently than non-specialized radiologists, disrupting fewer patient’s lives while detecting more breast cancers.
