Andrew Murray was voted in unanimously by the Vallejo City Council on Tuesday night to replace City Manager Beverli Marshall, who had been operating in the role on an interim basis since Mike Malone stepped down. Murray was the former Interim Public Works Director for the City of Berkeley and after holding the city manager title in Pinole for three years.

Lets proudly celebrate the achievements of Edward Barrett, Patrick Cahill, Noel Campos, Erreanna France, Josciah Roberts, Kasai Saenthavysouk, and Ana Trujillo-Prado. These dedicated young adults, aged 18-24, completed a rigorous six-week program at Vallejo Adult School, earning four industry certifications and essential training for careers in construction. Thanks to the Solano WDB and the Northern California Laborers Union, this program was offered at no cost. Special acknowledgments to Nel Sweet-Davis, Cheryl Franklin, Laura Dutch, and Matt Moon-Bailey for their support and contributions.
