SCOE Partners on Mentorship Program for Youth

The Counseling & Cuts empowerment and mentorship program hosted another five-week session in partnership with Solano Community College, Solano County Office of Education, local barbers, and hair salons for youth between the ages of 13 and 21. Participants had the opportunity to shadow local barbershops and stylists to learn more about cosmetology and business ownership as well as other topics such as positive self-image, mental wellness, and much more.

Special thank you to Justin LeGrand-Logan, Owner of BMW Fairfield Dealership for providing the motivating keynote at the closing ceremony. This program could not happen without all of our partners.
