The Scribbles Collection was born from the idea that everything is beautiful. Manmade, natural chaotic shapes and random pairings can be as effective and appealing as symmetry and harmony. Solange’s enduring inspiration from the natural world is present with her homage to Mother Nature’s organic scribbles. The gemstones’ internal characteristics are Mother Nature’s scribbles that she has written in stone. Solange’s scribbles rhyme with Mother Nature’s, creating forms that mix colour palettes and texture to joyful and irreverent effect. The shapes are so irregular and impossible to define that the names of the jewels are simply referred to by their colour combinations: pink and green, blue and yellow, orange and red, etcetera. Mix and Match adaptable scribbles can join together to make earrings as long or as short as you like.
