METAMORPHOSIS EVOLVE , TRANSFORM, MUTATE.
A collection of five precious objects designed as jewellery boxes. The box becomes the jewels. Each box tells its own story.
ETERNAL FEMININE This three-sided pyramid is a symbol of femininity representing the womb of the woman as a protective home for the child. All the elements in this box are created to protect the Little Cherub. The floor is set with triangular diamonds, the toughest and most precious material on Earth.
The three sides of the box open to uncover a floor made of triangular diamonds. Remove the floor and it becomes a pendant.
On each of the three sides of the pyramid hang symbols of protection: the Evil Eye, the Hand of Fatima and the Ankh.
The floor can be taken apart and worn as a pendant with a heavy chain and the symbols on the walls removed to be slotted together like a puzzle to create a protective breastplate. The Little Cherub can be worn as a pendant.
THROUGH THE KEYHOLE The ultimate grown-up toy for women. Flamboyant rainbow steps lead to a little dolls house that you can open. All its elements can be pulled apart and worn; the mirror ball hanging from the ceiling, the chinoiserie plique-à-jour screen, the shoes, the Chiavari chair………… The phone becomes the ‘Ring’ ring. This private space for women is designed like a silk boudoir. Solange imagined her dream bathroom and created the perfect “Solly-Pocket”.
Leading up to the box, a rainbow pedestal expresses radiant colours through nine different precious hard stones including malachite, turquoise, lapis lazuli and coloured quartz.
The Gargoyle Heads are made of 18ct yellow gold, partially paved with diamonds and, assembled together, become a necklace for the chatelaine who is the keeper of the keys.

Plique-Ã -jour Screen
SECRET GARDEN A greenhouse of enamel plique-Ă -jour with gold structures forming geometric motifs. A small bird on the roof is ready to fly away. The walls taken apart form two identical cuffs for the wrist and the roof becomes a bowl for marshmallows. The floor is paved with diamond, opal and obsidian and, when pulled out, its centre becomes a pendant. This miniature Orangerie has trees, statuary and a bench to sit on and contemplate life. Some shoes have been left behind after a party. An umbrella is left in an elephant foot stand in case it is raining when you leave. This hothouse sits on a lotus leaf made of rose quartz and aventurine.

SNAKEPIT In outer space is the Snakepit floating on its rock crystal star. When opened, this studded constellation of diamonds on matt black gold becomes a cuff that can be worn on the wrist. If you take the lid off and look down, you will see the floor covered with writhing snakes. Two skeletons have been left behind, unable to escape, doomed to be worn as earrings. The floor, as well as the ceiling of the Snakepit, can be worn as pendants.
The blackened white gold and diamond sky can be worn as a cuff.

ARK OF THE COVENANT The Ark of the Covenant is a symbol of the Judeo-Christian tradition. The Ark, a mythical entity, is held aloft by a mother-of-pearl cloud. It is made of carved white marble sitting on four golden lion’s feet. It is protected by four gold birds and two angels which, when combined together, form a necklace. The Ark opens up and inside are the 10 Commandments carved onto gold tablets. A cross of gold opens up to reveal 72 cabochon stones representing the 72 Hebrew Names of God. The stones are composed of 12 colours representing the 12 Tribes of Israel.

Angelic Breastplate
Inside the Ark sits a gold box set with multi-coloured cabochon stones. When deployed, it becomes a cross to wear on the neck as a pendant.
10 Commandments, 12 gemstones for the 12 Tribes of Israel including diamond, emerald, sapphire, amethyst, spessartine garnet and spinel, 72 stones for the 72 Names of God.
