Discover... The Palaces Collection

Following two years of exploration behind the scenes of historic treasures at Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace, this collection takes its inspiration from the architecture, interiors and gardens of the palaces; extracting the essence of a pattern, an artefact, a finish, switch, socket or light to create a collection that reflects the history and character of these beautiful spaces.

Unveiled in the majestic setting of Kensington Palace State Apartments earlier this year, The Palaces Collection is a range of switches and sockets inspired by the opulence, artistry and heritage of royal interiors.

Marrying elegant aesthetics with cutting-edge technology, this collection reinterprets the original hardware and finishes found in the palaces. Each piece is meticulously handcrafted from solid brass, echoing the grandeur and craftsmanship of its architectural inspiration - timeless in design, rich in narrative and discreetly housing stateof-the-art innovation. Powered by our industryleading engineering partner, Enkin technology, the collection offers intelligent dimming capabilities across the range, ensuring both beauty and performance. At the heart of this innovation is our pioneering MagnaTec™ system, which enables effortless installation and delivers a flawless, screwless finish.

At its heart is the acanthus motif - an enduring symbol in architectural history since antiquity. Symbolizing immortality, resilience and growth, the acanthus has long influenced artistic expression, from classical ornamentation to contemporary design. Its stylized form provides the foundation for this collection, resulting in lighting pieces that infuse interiors with a sense of drama, richness and timeless opulence.

The patina of time: Lighting historic homes

Rich in character, architectural details and history, period homes require a sympathetic touch when it comes to lighting, switches and sockets - balancing authenticity with innovation, elegance and thoughtful functionality.

This autumn, we had the privilege of showcasing our collections within two exquisite private homes: Wolterton Hall in Norfolk and Court of Noke, the elegant 18thcentury Herefordshire residence of designer and natural paint pioneer Edward Bulmer. These remarkable settings embody timeless elegance, rich storytelling, and refined design—values that sit at the heart of our brand.

Edward Bulmer’s Queen Anne manor house provided the backdrop for our autumn brochures, where we embraced his passion for the well-worn and enduring. Natural

textures, alongside a palette of rich colours and finishes, brought depth and authenticity to our collections, echoing the layered beauty of the home itself.

Lighting period properties calls for sensitivity. Preserving architectural integrity — enhancing cornicing, mouldings, and panelling with carefully considered lighting — ensures the home’s historic narrative remains intact. Layered schemes add warmth and dimension, marrying ambience with practicality. Our lighting, switches, and sockets discreetly integrate industry-leading technology while celebrating the beauty of the past.

TASK LIGHTING

These hard-working lights blend precision with elegance, offering directional focus to illuminate specific areas, optimal brightness and versatility to suit every task and space. Whether reading, cooking or working, these refined features ensure your lighting is as functional as it is beautiful.

Crafted from solid brass, the Pimlico Collection (left) combines clean, minimal design with precision engineeringideal for accenting architectural features, artwork, or as a sophisticated alternative to task lighting. Its adjustable form delivers targeted illumination that enhances depth, mood, and spatial clarity.

A refined homage to the iconic Anglepoise the Atelier Adjustable Light combines sculptural elegance with practical versatility. Its gracefully adjustable arm and brass dome shade offer focused illumination, making it ideal for reading corners, kitchens, bedside lighting, or accentuating architectural details. Also available with a cone-shaped shade.

THE GATSBY

Launching this winter, inspired by Art Deco design, the Gatsby Collection features a sleek rectangular light with hand-ribbed glass, offering a soft, diffused glow. Its IP rating makes it ideal for bathrooms, and the closed rod design ensures easy fitting and dust-free maintenance.

When it comes to bathroom lighting, function and safety are key but aesthetics play an important role, too. As one of the most frequently used and versatile rooms in the home, the bathroom must effortlessly shift from a space for practical grooming to a sanctuary of calm and restoration.

Designed for versatility, the Gatsby can be installed horizontally or vertically - it performs beautifully as a task light while subtly enhancing ambient illumination. Available in a range of sizes and finishes including Aged Brass, Natural Polished Brass and Bronze, it brings a touch of sophistication and understated glamour to any interior scheme.

Special thanks to Greg Penn, aka @manwithahammer, for generously allowing us to shoot in Admirals House, his stunning Georgian home in Devon - a setting that perfectly complements the timeless elegance of the Gatsby Collection.
