I'm Sofía De León I'm 17 years old and I'm so close to becoming a preschool teacher. I really like to be part of this prescool world, I like to make crafts, learn about children's developement and of course create new ideas for classes. My dream is help teachers around the world to creat their classes more enganging so students will love learn.

Introduction The Instructional Tool Kit is a resource for all the teachers, students and any person that is interest in education. This kit provides different activities and ideas for different subjects in the grades of preschool. This with the idea to help you easily to implement these activities in your classroom, and make your classes more enganging.

Language ACTIVITIES

ABC puzzle For this activity, the teacher has to trace around the letters on the paper using a pen. Then she has to place all the letters used in a pile or basket and give them to the students who will match the letter to the outline.

MATERIEALS Foam o paper letters Paper

Alphabet Find The activity consists that the teacher will cut in pieces of construction paper and writing a single letter on each one. Then she will tape them to the walls in random order. Then starts the time to play. All that the teacher do is call out the letters. Then students race around the house to find it. Touch the letter. Then race back to the teacher.

Vocabulary ACTIVITIES

Vocabulary puzzle For this activity teacher will prepare the puzzle cards with the vocabulary words that students will learn. Then she will give students some of the cards and will let students play. Students need to match the vocabulary word with its image.

Building words The activity consists that students will build their vocabulary words by using as a guide the card which has the vocabulary words and its image.

Math ACTIVITIES

Sewing Numbers During this activity, students will practice doing the trace of the numbers. They have to sew the number following its trace.

MATERIEALS Number cards wool

Number matching Before starting the activity teacher has to draw circles then she has to write dots or some other object in each circle. Also, she has to write numbers on the bottom of the paper cups that will correspond to the numbers represented in each circle. Then she will give them to students so they can start matching the number with its quantity.

Language ACTIVITIES

Letter Building This activity consists in that the teacher will give to students some craft sticks and different cards with the pattern of the letters. Then students will have some time to build the letter using the craft sticks.

Beginning sound In this activity, the teacher will give the coloring pages to the students. Then students will have time to color them. The idea is that they paint just the objects that have the sound of letters, for that they need to name each object and pay attention to its sound.

MATERIEALS Coloring pages with the outline of the letters letters and little drawings inside.

Vocabulary ACTIVITIES

Art Gallery This activity consists that the teacher will draw enough squares on the board for each student to be able to draw in. Then the teacher will call out a word and the students will draw it in their square.

Complete the word Before starting the activity teacher have to write on the clothespins different letters, then on the craft sticks write different words with missing letters. Then the teacher will give the students the clothespins and the craft sticks. Students need to complete de word in the craft sticks using the letters of the clothespins.

Numbers recognition A NEW VERSION OF THE ROCK PAPER SCISSORS GAME

During this game, students need to be in pairs. This game is like the rock paper scissors game except students will say, "Rock, paper, number!" and each player will hold up as many fingers as they want. Then they will count all the fingers of her/his pair and write the correct number on a sheet of paper.

MATERIEALS Paper Pencil

Number puzzle The teacher will give students some puzzle pieces and time to play. Students have to complete the puzzles by joining together the piece of the number with the pieces which have the correct amount of the objects.

MATERIEALS Puzzle pieces (One with the number and one or two with the amout of objets which corresponds to the number)

Language ACTIVITIES

Roll. Say. Cover. Repeat. During the activity, students will roll a dot cube, say the letter name in the corresponding column, and cover it. They will roll the dot cube again and repeat. If they roll the same number again, they will say the next letter in the column and cover it. They will continue to play until all of the spaces have been covered.

Rrhyming game The activity consists that students will take turns drawing a card to move one or two spaces around the board. Then they will name the picture and a rhyming word.

Vocabulary ACTIVITIES

Vocabulary puzzle For this activity students will take turns spinning roulette, then they will move their object to two or more spaces on the board depending on what to roulette indicates. For example, if the roulette indicates an animal, they need to look for an animal on the board and place it in the correct space.

Obejcts to move Game template A roulette with four spaces (Person, place, animal, thing)

Alphabet Before starting, the activity teacher will write down the letters A-Z on big paper, and then give one per group, after the teacher will choose a subject such as animals or places. Kids using each letter of the alphabet will draw down something from that subject. For example, Ape, Bear, Cow, Duck, etc.

Math ACTIVITIES

Math Game: Buttons The idea is that the teacher will create one little shirt with felt for each student. Then will give the shirt and botts to each student. To play students will create groups and will place ten (it can be more or less) buttons on top of his/her shirt. The goal of the game is to be the first person to remove all ten buttons. So students will take turns rolling the dice and remove the amount of buttons that correspond with the number rolled. Modification Change the game into an addition math game by starting with an empty shirt and adding buttons based on the number rolled.

Number matching This activity consists that in the first column teacher will field it with numbers in a different order, then students will identify the numbers and stack the corresponding number of blocks into a tower.

Describe it to me This activity consists that the teacher will throw a bunch of items into a bag. Then each student reaches in and grabs something to describe. The students remove the object and then describe it using a variety of descriptors.

MATERIEALS Different little objects A paper bag or of the any other material

Pool Noodle Alphabet Before starting the activity the teacher will cut the pool noodle into different pieces and will write the different alphabet letters. Then students will be in groups and the teacher will give to students some letters. Then she will say different words and the students will have to write the words using the letters of the pool noodle. The group that forms the word first wins.

Vocabulary ACTIVITIES

Toss & Answer The teacher will write a vocabulary word on each piece of paper and place them into the muffin tin spots. Then students one at a time toss the ball and see if they can land it in one of the spots. Once they do, they have to define the word (or give a sentence, synonym, antonym, etc). If they can, then they get to keep the word card. If not, then it is the next player's turn.

Pop For this activity, the teacher needs to put the cards into the bag. Then students take turns pulling one card out. If they pull a word card, they must give the definition. Also, the teacher can require them to give a synonym or an antonym. If they answer correctly, they keep the card. If they are wrong, it goes back into the container. And if they draw a pop, they must put all of their cards back in the container. The winner is the person with the most cards.

Sewing Numbers This game consists that kids will be moving their objects through the board game depending on the results of the math operations.

Skip counting In this activity, students will insert the wool through the holes according to the order of the numbers. The order can be different as the teacher indicates.
