LETTER FROM LEADERSHIP

"The three great essentials to achieve anything worthwhile are, first, hard work; second, stick-to-itiveness; third, common sense."

As we pass the halfway mark of 2025, it's a powerful moment to take stock not just of where we’ve been, but where we’re headed In the transportation business, we understand better than most that every mile matters Some stretches are smooth and scenic; others test our limits But no matter the road, what keeps us moving is perseverance.

This year has asked a lot from all of us adaptability, focus, endurance And you’ve shown up, again and again Like any long-haul journey, progress doesn’t always come quickly. But with hard work, consistency, and a little common sense the very qualities Edison called essentials we keep moving forward.

So let’s keep our eyes on the road ahead. Let’s fuel up on optimism, check our mirrors for lessons learned, and keep the wheels turning toward something greater.

Here’s to the miles we’ve traveled and the many more ahead

If you’re considering adopting a pet, check your local humane society or animal shelter for a pet that will best suit your lifestyle and needs. Many animals are waiting for their ‘forever home’.

Consider rescuing one, today!

Animals are a blessing and a great responsibility. Before welcoming a pet into your home and your family, consider the cost, time and effort it takes to care for one. Sometimes the pet you want isn’t the pet best suited for your lifestyle or your budget.

There are many kinds of pets to consider, like birds, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, reptiles, of course, the ever popular : cats and dogs.

Owning a pet can offer a multitude of health benefits: decreased blood pressure reduced feelings of loneliness and anxiety and increased opportunities for exercise and social interaction

Pets can also positively impact mental health by lowering stress and promoting a sense of purpose, particularly in older adults

Many animals are in urgent need of a loving home. Check your local shelter for a pet that suits your lifestyle and income and enjoy the benefits of having an animal companion!

*We’d love to see pics of your animal family member(s)! Send snapshots and descriptions to kmccue@sodreltrucklines com
