It is produced when quicklime is mixed/slaked with water
Produced by heating crushed limestones to around 1,100°C
It has lighter density ( 35lb/ft³)
It has higher density (65lb/ft³)
Hydrated Lime is less reactive
Quicklime is more reactive
Used in flue gas treatment, neutralizing industrial wastewater, etc.
Used in basic steelmaking process, organic chemicals, etc.
