Linda Bradford-Raschke Founder, LBR Group

Linda began her professional trading career in 1981 making markets in options as a member of two exchanges. She has been a CTA, principle trader for several hedge funds, and a CPO (commodity pool operator). Her own hedge fund was ranked 17th out of 4500 for best 5 year performance by BarclaysHedge. Her early successes were recognized by Jack Schwager in his renowned Market Wizards series. Linda co-wrote the wildly popular “Street Smarts” book in the mid ’90s. And in 2019, she released the widely acclaimed “Trading Sardines: Lessons in the Markets by a Lifelong Trader” in 2019, available only at LindaRaschke.net. She remains a professional trader and an eternal student of the markets.

Matthew Buxton Co-founder and CEO FTP Capital

Matt Buxton is a systematic futures trader in the Energy space. Matt has over 25 years of experience in the Financial and Energy sectors, chiefly at Oil brokerage, PVM. Matt’s background is in information technology which over time morphed into a role creating Algorithmic trading systems alongside Robin Bieber, a well known Technical Analyst in the oil space. In 2020 Matt co-founded FTP Capital with Thomas Hufton, the aim being the combining of Fundamental, Technical and Positioning data to create trading systems in the Energy sector and beyond.

Alan Dunne CEO, Archive Capital

Alan Dunne is the Founder and CEO of Archive Capital, a boutique investment research and hedge fund advisory firm which serves family offices and institutional investors. Alan started his career as a technical analyst and trader, working for Bank of America in London, Hong Kong, and Singapore. In total, he has worked in the financial markets for over 25 years at hedge funds and investment banks as a CIO, hedge fund allocator, macro strategist, and technical analyst. Prior to founding Archive Capital, he was Managing Director and a member of the investment committee at Abbey Capital, a $7bn fund of hedge funds.

David Forino Co-Founder, Simplify Trading

With over a decade of expertise in Artificial Intelligence and 5 years in the financial markets, David Forino is a pioneer at the crossroads of technology and finance. As the co-founder of Simplify Trading, he spearheads the mission to democratize access to cutting-edge AI for trading, enabling real-time predictive models to improve trade success. David Forino’s background includes ground-breaking work in AI for self-driving cars, reflecting a commitment to pushing technological boundaries. A seasoned professional in algorithmic trading systems, he brings invaluable experience to the financial landscape, driving innovation and accessibility.

Adam Hartley Director, SnapDragon Systems

Adam has worked in the trading industry for 30 years offering research and programming to traders and institutions. He spent 10 years as a hedge fund manager with at peak $880 AUM developing a variety of large scale trading solutions including a long term trend following approach that was the cornerstone of the systematic division for one of the top five hedge funds in the world. These days he works for small funds, family office setups as well as private traders, offering programming and research services across all market types. He is also very interested in trading psychology. As a practising therapist himself, he likes to work one to one with clients to help them clear the psychological blocks that are holding them back from achieving their trading goals.

Stephen Hoad CEO, The Stop Hunter

Stephen is an algorithmic, quantitative, technical analyst trader. He has 25 years+ global financial markets experience as a PM, proprietary trader, options trader, quantitative analyst and senior risk manager. Now the CIO of his own fund - IGOE Financial Ltd and CEO of THE STOP HUNTER Ltd, offering trading education and consultancy services. He has previously held senior roles at Koch Industries, Merrill Lynch, WestLB and Mitsubishi UFJ Securities.

Victor Kouzmanov

Victor Kouzmanov is running a systematic trading book at Freepoint Commodities. The desk covers all exchange traded energy markets and deploys risk across a portfolio of strategies heavily focused on technical signals.

Rustam Lam CEO, TradeStation International

Rustam Lam is CEO of TradeStation International. Rustam started his career trading fixed income and derivative products for international banks in London and over his 25+ years in the financial markets has held leadership roles at Reuters Group, Townsend Analytics, Lehman Brothers, Barclays Capital and the London Stock Exchange Group. His areas of professional interest and focus have been primarily around traded markets, the delivery of electronic trading and platforms and related services for institutional clients and active traders.

David Linton CEO, Updata

David Linton MFTA is one of the UK’s leading Technical Analysts and a well-known market commentator. He is the founder and CEO of Updata based in London. He is the author of ‘Cloud Charts – Trading success with the Ichimoku technique.’ He is teaches the Ichimoku module for the UK Society of Technical Analysts Diploma Course and he is a member of the American Association of Professional Technical Analysts. David has recently joined Trevor Neil FSTA to become a partner at Betagroup.

Elizabeth Miller Lead Commodity and Macroeconomic Analyst, Mars Chocolate UK & Wrigley UK

Elizabeth Miller MSTA is a professional analyst with over 25 years of research experience of commodity, currency and bond markets. She is Lead Commodity and Macroeconomic Analyst at Mars Chocolate UK & Wrigley UK. Elizabeth started her career at MMS International (currency analyst), then moved to Bank of America (currencies again), then Deutsche Bank (fixed income analyst). Thereafter she worked as Head of Research and commodities specialist at Redtower Research. Elizabeth happily stumbled into her current role at Mars Wrigley 15 years ago and has been focussing pre-dominantly on the commodities that they buy to make their delicious products. She currently supports the dairy and sugar categories.

Trevor Neil Fund Manager, Consultant Technical Analyst & Institutional Trader

Trevor Neil is a Fellow of the Society of Technical Analysts and an ACI member. He started his career at 18 as a floor trader for Merrill Lynch on the floor of the London Commodities Exchange. He has been an institutional trader ever since. He has twice managed large hedge funds, trading futures and equities systematically. He was on the board, which created the STA and served under the first five chairmen. For four years he was Global Head of Technical Analysis at Bloomberg. He is a director of RRG Research BV. Currently, he is a fund manager and the Technical Analyst at EnBW, the large German utility, and works with institutions worldwide, integrating technical analysis into their work processes. He has presented the popular monthly webinar Trevor Neil’s Technical Analysis Surgery, hosted by the London Stock Exchange Group for nearly 20 years.

Jason Ramchandani Lead Developer Advocate, LSEG

Jason has worked at LSEG/Refinitiv for 10 years as Lead Developer Advocate helping to build our Developer Community. Previously he has worked in financial markets for over 15 years with a quant background in the equity/equity-linked space at, Okasan Securities, Sakura Finance and Jefferies LLC in Research, Broking, Market-Making and Derivatives/ Synthetics Structuring roles.

Eddie Tofpik Head of Technical Analysis, ADMISI (Moderator)

Eddie started in the markets in 1980 and has worked on trading desks in Bullion, Energy, Agricultural, Softs, Metals Futures & Options. In the late 1980’s he added FX, Equities and Fixed Income to his abilities and by 1990 he’d managed desks in all of these. He joined Esprit Brokers (precursor to ADMISI) in 1991 to develop FX business & started the 24 Hour FX Desk. By 2018, after 27 successful years as Head of FX he moved over to a new role as Head of Technical Analysis and Senior Markets Analyst. Eddie is Chairman of The Society of Technical Analysts and also a Member of ACI-UK (the FX dealers association). Most recently he became a Director of the International Federation of Technical Analysts. Eddie publishes ‘Eddie’s Crayons…’ Technical Analysis reviews on FX and commodity futures markets.
