Welcome to our first issue of 2026—and to the moment we reach the summit. Each year, Tops in Tarrant celebrates the businesses that rise above the rest and this 12th annual edition is no exception. Reaching the top in today’s competitive business landscape takes more than ambition. It requires vision, resilience, adaptability, and an unwavering commitment to excellence—day in and day out. The companies featured here didn’t simply grow—they climb. Through changing markets, evolving consumer expectations and constant innovation, they earned their place at the peak by consistently delivering results and building trust within our community.
Success at this level isn’t accidental. It’s the result of anticipating what’s next and navigating challenges with confidence and integrity. These leaders don’t just meet expectations—they redefine them, setting the standard for what excellence looks like in Tarrant County and beyond.

So how do businesses earn this distinction? The answer is simple—you decide. Each year, Society Life Magazine invites readers and local residents to vote through our community-wide online survey, nominating top businesses across 100 carefully selected industry categories. The company receiving the most votes in each category earns the coveted Tops in Tarrant title. The result is a trusted guide to the very best local businesses—chosen by the people who know them best.
The Society Life ‘Tops in Tarrant’ list is a result of a website-based survey from the 4th quarter (October, November, December) of 2025 requesting suggestions for the top local leaders of each listed industry. The 100 industry categories were chosen by the Society Life magazine editorial staff. It was suggested that any business who serves the residents of Northeast Tarrant County was eligible—including, but not limited to, Society Life magazine advertisers. If any business was nominated for multiple industries, it appears under only one industry as decided by the Society Life staff. There are no duplicate business listings allowed—each business may appear only once in the Top 100 which includes only the Top nomination under each of the 100 industry categories. The final numbers are confidential and anonymous. The resulting list in this issue reflects the companies who received the most votes from the final survey nominations. All of the listings are alphabetical by their respective industry category—they are not listed by number of votes or any other such ranking or order.
Congratulations to the 100 local businesses who received top votes and were named Tops in Tarrant Best in Industry for 2026. Check out pages 16-17 to see the lineup of this year’s winners.

“My name is Jon Hipp, and I’m a fitness coach, model and holistic wellness educator, as well as the founder of HIPPNATION—a lifestyle brand focused on movement, mobility and sustainable performance. My professional life began in finance before an international modeling career opened doors around the world, but athletics has always been my foundation. I’m a lifelong competitor in Ironman triathlons, marathons, and now HYROX, and I hold certifications as a CrossFit Level 1 and Endurance Trainer, Pose Method Running Coach, and Physio/Kinesiologist. My passion is helping people move better, train smarter and recover more effectively. Through HIPPNATION (jonhipp.com), I’ve combined performance coaching, mindset, flexibility training to a standard, and recovery to support long-term strength and resilience. Because recovery is just as important to me as training, I’m always looking for smarter ways to support my body—and that search is what led me to PEMF therapy.
FITNESS IS CENTRAL TO WHO I AM I train every day, I push my limits intentionally, and I’m constantly looking for ways I can perform better—not just on race day, but in how my body feels week after week. As I began training for my next HYROX event, I knew my standard routine of lifting, conditioning and mobility work wasn’t enough on its own. I wanted to elevate my recovery and resilience in a way that would truly support the level of stress I was placing on my body. That search is what led me to PEMF Recovery Plus. I’m no stranger to soreness. Like most athletes, I have accepted stiffness, fatigue and muscle tightness as part of the process. Overall, I felt strong and healthy, but intense training takes its toll over time—especially on areas like the neck, traps and midback. I wasn’t injured, but I knew that lingering tightness could eventually limit performance if left unchecked. PEMF therapy stood out to me because it works at a deeper, cellular level, supporting the body from the inside out. I was curious, optimistic and ready to see if it could truly make a difference.
A NEW KIND OF RECOVERY During heavier training cycles, I began using PEMF therapy about three times a week. From the very first session, I noticed how deeply relaxing the experience was. It felt almost meditative—an intentional pause in my day where I could completely disconnect while knowing something productive was happening beneath the surface. Unlike active recovery methods that require effort, PEMF allowed my body to fully rest while still being supported in a powerful way. It quickly became something I looked forward to, not just physically, but mentally as well.
WHAT REAL-LIFE CUSTOMERS SAY

After about two weeks, or roughly six sessions, the changes became undeniable. I noticed significantly less residual soreness after workouts and a faster rebound between training days. My muscles felt looser, my mobility improved, and I no longer carried that constant post-training tightness that had once felt unavoidable. PEMF became a key tool in accelerating recovery and helping me stay consistent without feeling worn down. –
THE MOMENT IT CLICKED The real turning point for me came after a particularly demanding race. Normally, I’d expect days of stiffness and fatigue, carefully easing back into movement. This time was different. I felt surprisingly recovered—moving better, feeling energized, and ready to resume training far sooner than expected. That moment made it clear that PEMF therapy wasn’t just helping me recover—it fundamentally changed how my body responded to stress and exertion. Beyond physical recovery, I began noticing other benefits. My energy levels improved, my mood felt more balanced, and I had a renewed motivation to push myself during workouts and stretching sessions. Feeling physically better created a ripple effect that enhanced my focus, consistency and overall drive.
A CORNERSTONE OF MY WELLNESS ROUTINE Today, PEMF Recovery Plus is a cornerstone of my wellness and performance routine. Just like training, nutrition and mobility work, it’s something that I rely on consistently. The synergy between PEMF therapy and my stretching routine has been especially impactful, helping my body stay aligned, resilient and ready for whatever challenge comes next. What I appreciate most about PEMF therapy is that it really complements everything I already do. As an athlete, I’m constantly working hard— but PEMF allows me to fully relax while my body is supported at a deep, cellular level. It feels like a passive workout for recovery and the results speak for themselves. PEMF therapy has completely changed how I approach training and recovery. I’m able to do more, recover faster and perform better with less pain. It’s no longer just something I try—it’s an essential part of my lifestyle and one I would recommend without hesitation to anyone serious about their health, performance and long-term well-being.”

January has a way of exposing our quiet hopes. The noise of the holidays fades, the house grows still, and suddenly there is space to think. Not about bold resolutions or dramatic reinvention, but about what we actually want this year to hold — and who we want to become as we move through it.
For many, the new year arrives with a sense of pressure: do better, be better, start over. But Scripture offers a gentler entry point. Long before calendars mattered, the Bible reminded us that God’s mercies arrive daily. “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning,” writes the prophet in Lamentations 3:22–23. January does not create renewal—it simply gives us permission to notice it.
That idea changes the tone of a fresh start. Instead of erasing the past, faith invites us to carry it differently. Isaiah records God saying, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” (Isaiah 43:19). The promise is not that life will be easy, but that even our wilderness seasons can hold unexpected growth. Looking back, many of us can recognize moments we once labeled as failures that later became turning points. This simple change of perspective reshapes how we also think about change. The Bible rarely emphasizes quick fixes or just surface-level
improvement. Instead, it speaks of great transformation that happens slowly, internally and often quietly. Romans 12:2 urges believers to be transformed by renewing of the mind, not by conforming to outside pressure. Real change, it suggests, comes not from trying harder, but from actually seeing differently.
January also marks a natural time to take inventory. Psalm 90:12 asks God to teach us to “number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.” Reflection, when done honestly, reveals more than missteps. It highlights moments of grace we might have overlooked—strength we didn’t know we had, help that arrived just in time, or lessons learned the hard way. Gratitude grows when we begin to see patterns, and gratitude has a way of steadying the heart. As our routines resume, we rediscover the importance of rhythm. Faith, like any relationship, is also sustained with consistent presence. Prayer, Scripture and worship are less about discipline and more about connection. Even Jesus withdrew to quiet places,
modeling the need for stillness before action. Strength, the Bible suggests, is often formed in silence. A new year also invites release. Hebrews 12:1 encourages us to throw off what hinders and entangles us. That can look different for everyone—fear that lingers, resentment that weighs heavy, expectations that no longer fit. Letting go creates room, not just for change, but for peace.
In the end, January is not about achieving perfection or proving progress. It is about presence—showing up honestly with open hands and a willing heart. Hope, in a biblical sense, is not wishful thinking or blind optimism; it is confidence anchored in God’s promises. Proverbs 16:3 reminds us that when we commit our plans to the Lord, our steps are established, even when the path ahead is unclear. Each sunrise carries fresh mercy and a quiet assurance that we do not walk alone. As the year unfolds, faith invites us to move forward with trust— not rushing to arrive, but learning to walk steadily with the God who is still at work, always patiently shaping something new.

RIPE READS BOOK REVIEWS
In Colleyville author Trina Titus Lozano’s new book Leopard Pajamas: My Journey to Forgiveness, Healing, and Marriage Restoration, she delivers a moving, faithfilled memoir for anyone who has faced betrayal, heartbreak or the exhaustion of trying to hold life together. Released on December 28, 2025, this book isn’t simply about marriage crisis—it is a powerful roadmap to healing, personal responsibility and courageous forgiveness.

The story opens with an unforgettable image—Trina’s mother passing away while wearing leopard pajamas. What begins as a tender detail becomes the symbolic thread woven throughout the book. The pajamas represent a conscious decision to clothe oneself in strength, dignity and faith—especially when life feels unbearable. From that moment on, “leopard pajamas” become a metaphor readers carry long after the final page.
Nineteen years into a marriage that appeared strong, Trina’s world unraveled. The discovery of a hidden 9-month long affair, impending divorce papers, and financial devastation shattered her sense of security and identity. What makes this memoir especially compelling is Trina’s honesty. Rather than simply casting herself as a victim, she courageously acknowledges her own role in the breakdown of the marriage. Both she and her husband, she explains, were tearing down their relationship—just in different
ways. That humility sets this book apart from many betrayal narratives. At its core, Leopard Pajamas centers on a transformative truth—forgiveness is not a feeling, but a daily decision. Trina reframes forgiveness as an act of faith rather than emotion, offering practical, biblically grounded tools to help readers break free from bitterness, shame and fear. Her writing is raw, yet also hopeful, guiding the readers toward peace even when circumstances feel overwhelming.
The book excels in blending personal testimony with actionable wisdom. Trina explores how to face fear with faith, trade anxiety-filled nights for peace-filled rest, and leave a legacy of forgiveness that impacts generations. Her message is deeply spiritual without being preachy and encouraging without minimizing pain. Equally powerful is the marriage restoration story. Trina and her husband ultimately rebuild what was broken, offering readers hope that redemption is possible even after profound betrayal. Knowing they now share their testimony together adds credibility and depth to the journey told in these pages.
What if the strength to sleep peacefully through any storm and rise with purpose each morning wasn't something you waited to feel, but something you chose to wear?
For readers drawn to Christian memoirs, marriage restoration stories, and faithbased emotional healing, the new book Leopard Pajamas is an honest, uplifting read—one that reminds us that peace is something we can choose to clothe ourselves in every single day.
ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Trina Titus Lozano strengthens marriages worldwide through speaking, mentoring, counseling, and her bestselling book Home Experience (that was co-authored with her late mother, Devi Titus). She and her husband, James, have shared their redemption story with tens of thousands. They live in Colleyville, Texas near their four children and twelve grandchildren. As a longtime North Texas author with strong community ties, Trina reveals that forgiveness is a decision, not a feeling—and teaches you how to put on "leopard pajamas" every night as your declaration of faith.

ED.D IN SPECIAL EDUCATION
HEAD OF SCHOOL with BRYNLEE
8 YEAR OLD DOUBLE DOODLE
In a community known for academic excellence, one school stands out not just for its academics but for its heart. Inspire Academy, a private Christian school located in the heart of Colleyville, exists for one clear purpose: to create a safe place to learn where students with unique learning needs can flourish academically, emotionally and spiritually. Rather than forcing every child into the same mold, Inspire meets each learner where they are by helping students unlock their God-given potential with confidence and joy.
Inspire Academy was founded from a mother’s determination to create a better educational path for children who learn differently. After watching her four children struggle in traditional classrooms despite their intelligence and potential, founder Dr. Dana Judd set out to build a school designed to meet students where they are now. Her family’s experiences with dyslexia, dysgraphia and anxiety led her to pursue advanced degrees in psychology, special education and educational leadership, along with specialized training in proven instructional and language-therapy methods. Grounded in the belief that every single child is “fearfully and wonderfully made,” Inspire Academy serves students with learning differences such as dyslexia, ADHD and anxiety through a wholechild approach that blends academic rigor with emotional and spiritual support.
At the core of Inspire Academy’s success is its commitment to multisensory and differentiated instruction—methods that can activate multiple learning pathways in the brain and honor the unique ways each student absorbs information. Instead of relying solely on traditional lecturestyle teaching, instructors engage visual, tactile, auditory and kinesthetic learning to help their students retain information and also build confidence. This approach benefits all learners, but especially those whose brains process information differently. Small class sizes and a low student-to-teacher ratio, often as low as 3:1, ensure that teachers can give each student the individualized attention they deserve—allowing for curriculum adjustments in real time to match personal learning styles.
Inspire Academy offers a Christ-centered, academically sound curriculum across elementary, middle and high school, covering core subjects including math, science, English, social studies and Bible. Students participate in hands-on learning experiences—from science labs in the lower grades to electives such as theater, photography and yearbook at the high school level. Days begin with prayer, and biblical principles are woven throughout instruction, encouraging students to grow academically while developing character, faith and purpose. Families consistently report growth not only in grades, but also in confidence, reduced anxiety and a renewed enthusiasm for learning.
Education at Inspire Academy is viewed as a launchpad for life beyond the classroom. Students are taught critical thinking, leadership
STUDENTS GROW & THRIVE AT INSPIRE ACADEMY

skills and self-advocacy that prepare them for college, vocational paths or other callings. The academy supports college entrance exams such as the SAT and the ACT with individualized accommodations and partners with institutions like Dallas Baptist University and Tarrant County College to also offer dual-credit opportunities. Equally important is Inspire Academy’s focus on independence and resilience—thus equipping students with both the social and the emotional skills needed for adulthood.
Behind Inspire Academy’s impact is a dedicated team of educators trained in language therapy, special education and differentiated instruction. Many bring decades of experience and share a commitment to advocating for students who learn outside traditional models. Teachers serve not only as instructors, but as mentors and partners in growth, fostering deep trust with families and helping students rediscover their potential.
Brynlee (pictured), Kenzie and Nimbus are more than just familiar faces at Inspire Academy— they’re an important part of daily life on their campus. Beloved by students and staff alike, these dogs play a meaningful role in supporting student well-being. When students need a break or feel anxious, a visit from one of the trio can provide instant comfort and calm. Their gentle presence helps create a positive, welcoming and supportive environment and is just one of the
many ways Inspire Academy sets itself apart— proving that sometimes the very best learning support comes on four legs. Together, Brynlee, Kenzie and Nimbus remind students every day that learning flourishes best in an environment filled with care, connection and even a little unconditional puppy love.
The true measure of Inspire Academy’s impact isn’t found in statistics alone—it’s in personal stories of triumph that pour in from families. Parents recount moments marked by frustration and struggle now replaced with excitement and confidence. Students who once dreaded school now describe Inspire as a place where they feel understood, safe and capable of achieving more than they imagined. For many, the transformation goes beyond academics. Kids who once believed they couldn’t succeed now envision futures filled with possibilities. They discover strengths they didn’t know that they had and they develop the courage to pursue dreams previously clouded by doubt.
Inspire Academy is a model for what education looks like when it honors individuality, embraces faith and refuses to sideline students who learn differently. For families seeking a school that blends both academic rigor with empathy and spiritual grounding, as well as individual encouragement, Inspire Academy represents a true calling fulfilled.

In North Texas, relationships matter and family is at the center of daily life — and legal matters are rarely just legal. They are deeply personal, emotional and often life-changing. Justice, the team behind this boutique firm has earned a reputation for delivering sophisticated legal representation with a level of compassion and attentiveness clients immediately feel. Justice Law Firm doesn’t just guide clients through legal processes — it walks beside them during some of life’s most pivotal moments. Justice Law Firm focuses on family law, estate planning, collaborative law and mediation— practice areas that sit at the very heart of life. Justice Law Firm also helps individuals and families plan for the future through thoughtful estate strategies, including wills and trusts designed to protect what matters most. But what truly sets the firm apart is no the scope of its services, but the philosophy behind them. “We provide large firm quality with small firm attention,” admits Justice. Leadership Grounded in Experience
At the helm of Justice Law Firm is Tracey L. Justice, an attorney whose career reflects both entrepreneurial grit and a deep understanding of people. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Baylor University, shaping the empathetic approach that defines her legal advocacy. Before law school, she held a Realtor’s license and she owned a daycare center—both experiences sharpened her business acumen and deepened her sensitivity to the challenges families face. She earned her Juris Doctor from Texas Wesleyan University School of Law in 2001 and built a career focused on family law and civil litigation, later becoming a certified mediator with specialized training in cases involving children. CO-OWNERS
A garage door is often the first thing people see when they arrive at a home, but it’s one of the last details homeowners think about until something goes wrong. For brothers Jason and Aaron Meadows, that overlooked reality became the foundation of a business built on craftsmanship, service and old-school values. Today, Meadows Garage Doors is one of the most trusted names in garage door repair and installation across North Texas, known for technical expertise, honest communication and a deeply personal approach to customer care. What many customers don’t realize is that the company’s roots stretch back long before its first North Texas service call — beginning instead with a single phone call, a wrapped van and a leap of faith during one of the most uncertain moments in recent history.
Built on Brotherhood and Trust
Jason and Aaron Meadows grew up immersed in the garage door industry in Titusville, Florida, a town known for producing some of the earliest garage door companies in the country. Their uncle owned a garage door business, and for Jason, the trade became a summer job that started in middle school and continued through college. After graduating, he returned home and spent nearly two decades working full time in the family business, honing his skills and learning the intricacies of the industry from the ground up. Meanwhile, Aaron had pursued a corporate career that eventually brought him to Dallas. When the pandemic hit, Aaron was laid off, and the brothers found themselves at a crossroads. “In one phone call, we decided it was time,” Jason said. “We’d always talked about starting something together—and in that moment we made it real.” Jason purchased a van, wrapped it with the Meadows name in Florida, loaded an air mattress in the back and drove straight through to Dallas-Fort Worth. What began as a single vehicle and shared vision quickly grew into something much larger.
Five years later, Meadows Garage Doors has become a go-to provider for homeowners and businesses across the Metroplex. The company brings more than 40 years of combined industry experience to every job, offering an expert level of insight that allows technicians to diagnose problems accurately and recommend solutions that last. Unlike many service companies that focus on speed and volume, Meadows takes a comprehensive approach. Technicians are fully licensed, insured and never subcontracted— every team member is a Meadows employee trained to uphold the same standards of quality and professionalism. “We don’t just fix what’s broken,” Jason admits. “We assess the entire system, inspect the existing door and get to know how the homeowner actually uses their garage.” Whether a garage is used primarily for parking, storage, fitness equipment or as a functional extension of the home, Meadows helps each of their clients select the solutions tailored to their lifestyle.
As home technology continues to evolve, so do garage door systems. Insulated doors, quieter openers and enhanced safety features can significantly improve comfort, efficiency and home value—yet many homeowners aren’t aware of their options. “A lot of people don’t realize what’s possible,” Jason notes. “And, if someone’s just trying to get in and out, they might miss opportunities for a better solution.”
According to the Journal of Light Construction Cost

vs. Value Report, garage door replacement ranked No. 1 in 2025 for return on investment, recouping more than 260% of its cost. For the team at Meadows, that statistic underscores the importance of doing the job right. “This is where old school values really matter,” Jason said. “We use the latest technology and materials, but we’re still focused on honesty, craftsmanship and treating people right.”
Customers across North Texas frequently cite Meadows Garage Doors’ communication and courtesy as standout qualities. Their customer reviews highlight prompt arrival time, clear explanations and same-day service—often within hours of the initial call. One customer noted that a Meadows technician returned on a Sunday to address an issue following an installation, reinforcing thir commitment to service beyond just standard business hours. Equally important to clients is their absence of pressure. “We explain the options and let homeowners decide,” Jason said. “There’s no upselling—just honest recommendations.”
Meadows Garage Doors offers a full range of residential and commercial services, including garage door repair, new installations, opener replacements and preventative maintenance. The company works with leading brands such as Clopay, Amarr, doorLink, Linear, LiftMaster, Genie, CHI Overhead Doors, Mid-America
Door, and more, giving customers access to a range of options that balance the quality of the product lines with the aesthetic appeal for your home. Whether delivering a quick garage door repair or a full garage door transformation, Meadows Garage Doors is setting the standard for excellence—combining proven expertise with honest service and unmatched attention to detail. It’s their simple commitment to doing the job right every time that has earned them the trust of homeowners across North Texas and it comes as no surprise that they voted the company as a “Tops in Tarrant” winner.
With more than 1,000 five-star reviews and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, Meadows Garage Doors has built a reputation grounded in trust. Their wrapped vehicles, friendly technicians and respectful service have made the company a familiar and welcome presence throughout North Texas.
What started with a one single van and a cross country drive has become a thriving business rooted in family, integrity and service. For Jason and Aaron Meadows, success isn’t measured solely by growth, but by all of the relationships they have built along the way. By combining decades of experience with a genuine commitment to doing right by their customers, Meadows Garage Doors continues to raise the standard—one door, one home and one community at a time.

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
REGIONAL PRESIDENT
In a move that underscores its commitment to community banking and local growth, NBT Financial Bank has recently broken ground on a new full-service branch in Grapevine. The bank’s new location will mark a milestone for North Texas customers and business clients. The expansion reflects NBT’s broader mission to build long-term relationships, support local organizations and provide personalized banking solutions anchored by over 50 years of financial stewardship and community investment.
NBT Financial Bank traces its roots back to a long tradition of community-focused banking that’s centered on personalized service and relationship building. Formerly known as The National Bank of Texas, the institution rebranded in 2022 to align its future vision with a name that better reflects its evolving identity while preserving the same leadership and commitment to customers. Across its North Texas footprint—which includes established branches in Fort Worth, Hurst, Burleson, Azle, Willow Park, and a Grapevine Loan Production Office—NBT has made its mark with a comprehensive suite of financial services tailored to individual, small business and commercial needs. From everyday checking and savings solutions to business lending, treasury management and mortgage services, the bank positions itself as a partner in both your personal milestones and long-term financial goals.
On Thursday, January 8, 2026, community members and bank leaders gathered for the groundbreaking ceremony of NBT Financial Bank’s newest venture, a full-service branch in Grapevine. The recent event invited the public and local stakeholders to celebrate the addition near Dutch Bros at 803 E. Northwest Highway. This branch will be the sixth full-service location in North Texas for NBT Financial Bank which reflects both customer demand and the bank’s belief in the long term vitality of the region. The bank’s commitment to the Grapevine community spans more than 29 years, with NBT bankers actively serving and supporting local customers through the Hurst location long before establishing a physical presence in Grapevine. The new location underscores a deepening commitment to local engagement and community growth.
NBT Financial has deep roots in North Texas, proudly serving local communities for more than 50 years. Founded in 1973 on Fort Worth’s Northside, the locally owned and operated bank has grown alongside its customers. Two new full service branches are both currently underway in Grapevine and on Camp Bowie in Fort Worth’s Westside—both opening in 2026. Following its rebranded in 2022, NBT Financial embraced a forward-looking vision while maintaining the same commitment to personalized service. Through active involvement in community schools, local chambers and nonprofits, NBT continues to invest in the communities it proudly calls home.
What sets NBT Financial Bank apart is not just its suite of financial products, but its “bank local” philosophy. Their approach truly prioritizes

relationship-driven service, where customers are known by name and supported with financial guidance tailored to their unique circumstances. Whether opening a first bank account, securing a home mortgage, or expanding a small business, clients consistently cite the bank’s responsiveness and personal attention as reasons they choose NBT. This emphasis on personalized service is grounded in the belief that a local bank should be embedded in the life and the economy of its community. From sponsoring youth programs and partnering with schools to supporting civic organizations and nonprofits, NBT’s presence goes well beyond just financial transactions.
At its core, NBT Financial Bank offers a spectrum of services tailored to evolving financial needs. Personal banking features include checking and savings accounts, digital and mobile banking, mortgage lending and consumer loans. Business customers benefit from cash management and commercial lending, plus specialized services such as franchise financial support. The bank’s digital platforms enhance everyday conveniences and allow clients to view extended transaction history, manage accounts online and also make seamless payments. These tools make management more accessible, while local branches preserve personal, face-to-face guidance many customers still value.
For more than five decades, NBT Financial Bank has stood as a trusted community bank in North
Texas, building deep relationships one customer at a time. Now, as it breaks ground on a new full-service branch in Grapevine, the bank is also reinforcing its commitment to the local region’s economic vibrancy. What began as simply a neighborhood bank has evolved into a locally owned financial institution that blends modern banking solutions with personalized service— all anchored by a long tradition of community involvement and customer care at its very core.
As their new Grapevine branch construction progresses, anticipation grows among customers and local leaders alike. The expansion is expected not only to improve access to banking services, but also to stimulate further growth in the area— supporting everything from homeownership to small business lending and comprehensive cash-management services. The local journey for the NBT Financial Bank network signals their confidence in the local community and a continuing commitment to their mission to exceed client expectations, bank local and also to build lasting client relationships.
As NBT Financial Bank breaks ground in Grapevine, it lays a strong foundation for future partnerships and regional prosperity—anchored by a legacy of financial stewardship that spans decades. NBT’s new chapter is a commitment that aligns with its philosophy of being embedded in the life and the future of the communities it serves. A new hometown bank, grounded in community and coming soon to you.

JOE WORREL

In a region where home design, resale value and smart renovations matter, ReCoat Revolution of North DFW has built a business by solving a problem most homeowners didn’t know had a solution. Owned by husband-and-wife team Joe and Jennifer Worrel, the company specializes in restoring and refinishing floors — often in a single day — without sanding, dust or disruption. By offering a smarter alternative between “living with bad floors” and costly replacement, ReCoat Revolution is changing how North Texas thinks about flooring.

For years, homeowners believed they had only two options when floors looked tired—live with them or tear them out. ReCoat Revolution of North DFW exists squarely in the middle of that gap. The company cleans, restores and refinishes wood flooring without sanding! They deliver dramatic results in one day for about one-third the cost of sanding and roughly 10 percent of the cost of replacement. It’s an ideal solution for homeowners who want better floors—but don’t require new ones. By restoring what’s already there, ReCoat Revolution helps their clients to maximize value, reduce waste and avoid the stress of major renovation.
Because the process doesn’t involve sanding, homeowners avoid dust, noise and extended downtime. ReCoat Revolution’s proprietary approach relies on their deep commercial-grade sanitization, followed by professional refinishing using fast-curing polyurethane finishes that dry in as little as three hours. That speed opens doors beyond residential work. Businesses, retail spaces and offices that cannot shut down for days—or weeks—can restore their floors quickly and reopen the same day. The result is a rare combination of both high-impact results with low operational disruption.
ReCoat Revolution has become a trusted ally for real estate professionals, interior designers and homeowners throughout Northeast Tarrant County. Floors—often called the “fifth wall”— take on more wear than any other surface, and restoring them can transform a space faster than nearly any upgrade. For sellers, refreshed floors help homes show better and sell faster, often at a fraction of the cost of replacement. Rental properties benefit between tenants, preserving both appearance and budgets so they can then reallocate flooring dollars toward other upgrades.
“We also live in Southlake and understand the expectations of local homeowners,” admits Joe.
“Caring for the personal living spaces of others is a privilege that we don’t take lightly.”
While wood flooring is the company’s foundation, ReCoat Revolution’s process extends far beyond it. Because their restoration begins with deep sanitization, the team can clean and restore tile, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), stained concrete and painted concrete—surfaces often assumed to be “past their prime.” Perhaps most notably, ReCoat Revolution can refinish engineered wood and hand-scraped floors, which typically cannot be sanded. Many homeowners are very surprised to learn these floors are not doomed

to replacement. ReCoat Revolution proves otherwise—saving clients thousands while extending the life of existing materials..
Behind the business is a story rooted in discipline and leadership. Joe Worrel, an Air Force veteran, brings a service-driven mindset to operations, quality control and customer care. That military foundation of precision, preparation and true accountability shows up on every job site. And, Jennifer Worrel complements that structure with a focus on client experience, communication and relationship-building. Together, they have created a company culture centered on followthrough, professionalism and transparency— values that resonate deeply with homeowners and business owners.
ReCoat Revolution stands behind its work with a five-year warranty, reinforcing confidence in both process and product. Clients don’t just see immediate results—they gain peace of mind and long-term protection. This commitment to durability sets the company apart in an industry where short-term fixes are common. By focusing on proper preparation, premium finishes and proven systems, ReCoat Revolution delivers outcomes designed to endure everyday life.
From the first consultation to the final walkthrough, the ReCoat Revolution experience is
intentionally educational and pressure-free. Clients learn what their floors truly need—not what costs the most. If restoration is the right solution, the team explains the process clearly. If it isn’t, they say so. That honesty has helped fuel their steady growth and strong referrals throughout North DFW. Local homeowners appreciate knowing they have an option that respects both their homes and their budgets.
Joe and Jennifer Worrel of ReCoat Revolution are redefining what homeowners and businesses believe is possible for their floors. ReCoat was created to fill the gap between living with worn, outdated surfaces and enduring disruption and costs of full replacement. Their innovative, oneday restoration process delivers dramatic results without sanding, dust, or downtime. Originally perfected to clean, restore and preserve historic flooring and antique wood, ReCoat’s method is both highly effective and remarkably gentle. The same products used on contemporary floors are environmentally safe, free of harsh odors and common allergens, making ReCoat an ideal solution for homes with children and pets, as well as medical, hospitality, and food-service environments. Serving homeowners, sellers, designers, and commercial clients alike, ReCoat Revolution extends the life of existing spaces while elevating their beauty. Guided by superior service, discipline, and innovation, the Worrels continue to raise the standard for flooring care— one expertly restored floor at a time.

ROSIE VANN-SALAM
In a town that values connection as much as style, Rose & Rivets Boutique has carved out a space that feels equal parts fashion destination and welcoming gathering place. Known for its effortlessly chic pieces, personal styling approach and lively in-store experiences, Rose & Rivets is more than a boutique — it’s a reflection of its founder’s passion for helping women feel confident, inspired and seen. At the heart of it all is Rosie Vann-Salam, a stylist, entrepreneur and community connector whose journey into fashion proves that it’s never too late to chase a dream — or to redefine success on your own terms.
Dreamer Behind the Brand
Rosie Vann-Salam’s path to boutique ownership didn’t follow a traditional timeline. She didn’t enter the fashion industry until her 30s, but once she did she knew she had found her calling. Her early experience at White House Black Market in Southlake helped sharpen her eye for timeless style. From there, she co-founded Couture in a Can mobile boutique housed in an Airstream that brought fashion directly to customers’ driveways. For eight years, Rosie and her business partner traveled across North Texas learning what women wanted from a shopping experience— flexibility, personalization and fun. That insight carried her to later roles as a brand ambassador for another local boutique and into hosting live social media fashion shows during the pandemic, where she mastered the art of connecting with customers in real time. Those experiences led Rosie to launch MR, a men’s fashion line— and ultimately to opening Rose & Rivets, where her vision could fully come to life.
Rose & Rivets Boutique is built around a clear philosophy—fashion should empower you, not intimidate. Rosie curates collections that balance trend-forward pieces with wearable staples that offer standout looks for every season, body type and occasion. From casual everyday outfits to statement styles designed to turn heads, the racks are thoughtfully edited to help women build wardrobes they actually love—and wear. Rosie’s strength lies not just in choosing beautiful pieces, but in showing clients how to style them. Her approach focuses on versatility—one great jacket, dress or pair of denim styled multiple ways to maximize both confidence and value. It’s fashion that fits real life, not just a moment.
One of Rose & Rivets’ signature offerings is its weekly Live Fashion Shows hosted Wednesdays at 5pm on Facebook and Instagram. These live events give customers a front row seat to the latest arrivals, complete with styling tips, try-ons and exclusive deals. Rosie’s warm, energetic presence makes viewers feel like they’re really shopping with a good friend—whether they’re watching from Colleyville or across the state. The live shows have become a cornerstone of the boutique’s success, blending retail with entertainment and connection. Customers tune in not just to shop, but to engage, ask questions and be part of the R&R community.
Sip, Shop and Socialize
Inside the Colleyville storefront, fashion meets fun every week during R&R Happy Hours, held Thursdays from 3 to 5:30pm. These events invite customers to relax, browse new arrivals and also

connect with fellow “R&R babes” in a laid-back, social setting. With sips, conversation and always welcoming atmosphere, Happy Hour has become a favorite midweek tradition—proof shopping can be about relationships and retail therapy.
Girlfriend Shopping, Elevated
For those looking for something more personal, Rose & Rivets even offers Girlfriend Shopping Parties—private, by-appointment events designed for friends, families and special celebrations. Whether it’s a holiday shopping night, birthday, girls’ afternoon or just an excuse to gather, these parties allow guests to enjoy the boutique after hours with exclusive access, personalized styling and special incentives. It’s a concept that blends hospitality with fashion and reflects Rosie’s belief that shopping should feel memorable, joyful and personal.
Recognition Rooted in Impact
Rose & Rivets Boutique has earned numerous accolades, including Best Boutique, Best Personal Stylist, Small Business of the Year, Who’s Who, Tops in Tarrant, and Community Contributor honors. While Rosie is grateful for all of the recognition, she measures success differently. Her proudest achievement, she says, is helping women see themselves differently—to recognize their beauty, strength and individuality. Giving back is also a core value, with Rosie actively supporting many organizations, nonprofits and community initiatives that make a difference throughout Colleyville and beyond.
For Rosie, Rose & Rivets is more than just a business venture—it’s her happy place. Teaching women how to take one piece and style it a dozen ways lights her up. She believes fashion should be playful, expressive and personal, never rigid or intimidating. That philosophy resonates deeply with her customers, many of whom have become regulars—and friends. The boutique’s success lies in that genuine connection, where confidence is built not just through clothing, but through encouragement, laughter and trust.
fidence, One Outfit at a Time
In a retail world increasingly dominated by big brands and fast fashion, Rose & Rivets Boutique stands apart by staying true to its roots—local, personal and purpose-driven. With Rosie VannSalam at the helm, the boutique continues to grow—not just in style influence, but in impact. For women looking to refresh their wardrobe, rediscover their confidence or simply enjoy a shopping experience that feels like home, Rose & Rivets Boutique offers something rare—fashion with heart, connection and intention. It’s all stitched together beautifully, one outfit at a time. In a cruel world of fleeting trends that normally break you down rather than build you up, Rose & Rivets Boutique stands apart as a place where style is personal and relationships come first. Rosie has created more than a boutique—she’s built a community where women are celebrated and styled with intention. It’s a space where fashion meets heart—and confidence is always in style.

For three decades, the Greater Keller Women’s Club and the Greater Keller Women’s Club Foundation have quietly and consistently shaped the fabric of our community through service, philanthropy and leadership. What began as a collective of women dedicated to making a difference has grown into a powerful civic force — one that champions education, supports local nonprofits, and fosters meaningful connections among women who believe in giving back. At the heart of this mission is a simple, but enduring belief: when women come together with purpose, their collective impact can change lives. That mission comes beautifully to life each spring with the Club’s signature fundraising event — the beloved Garden of Roses. In 2026, the Greater Keller Women’s Club celebrates their 30th anniversary of this cherished tradition with an elegant tea and fashion show themed, “Luxe in London.”

Steeped in tradition and elevated by its purpose, the Garden of Roses is one of the Greater Keller Women’s Club’s most treasured annual celebrations. More than just a fashion show and luncheon, it is a signature gathering where elegance meets impact—bringing together local community leaders, philanthropists, and friends for an unforgettable experience that directly supports education and local nonprofits. Each year, the event reflects the heart of the Greater Keller Women’s Club’s mission by transforming style, fellowship and generosity into meaningful change across the local community.
The 2026 Garden of Roses will take place Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10am to 1:30pm at the elegant Bowden Events and Weddings. This year’s theme, Luxe in London, draws inspiration from the timeless glamour, refined tea culture, and iconic style of the British capital. Guests will be transported to a sophisticated London-inspired setting, complete with a refined tea experience and a stunning fashion show sponsored by Dillard’s. From classic elegance to modern luxury, the runway presentation promises to be a highlight of the afternoon. In addition to the fashion show, attendees will enjoy an engaging live auction, exciting raffle opportunities, and prize pulls—each one thoughtfully curated to elevate this year’s experience while also supporting causes.
While the Garden of Roses is undeniably stylish, its true beauty lies in its purpose. Proceeds from the event directly support Keller ISD scholarships, as well as local nonprofits—ensuring that every ticket purchased and every sponsorship secured translates into real, lasting impact.
The Greater Keller Women’s Club established the Greater Keller Women’s Club Foundation in 1996 as a 501c3 organization for giving. Through the Club’s volunteerism, fundraising and civic engagement, the members have invested countless hours and resources into strengthening their local community. A primary focus of the Foundation’s mission is education, demonstrated through ongoing scholarship support for students in Keller ISD, helping young people pursue higher education and brighter futures. In addition, the Foundation provides vital funding to nonprofit organizations that serve families, children and those in need throughout the area. Beyond financial support, the Club offers members opportunities for leadership development, friendship and hands-on service — creating a network of women united by generosity, integrity and purpose.
“The Garden of Roses represents the heart of our organization,” a Club spokesperson shared. “It is a celebration of generosity, tradition, and the incredible impact that can be made when a community comes together with purpose.”
That sentiment has guided the event for 30 years—bringing together community leaders, philanthropists, local businesses and supporters who share a commitment to service and community growth.
Tickets and sponsorship opportunities for the 2026 Garden of Roses are now available, and community members are encouraged to take part in this milestone celebration. Whether you are attending with friends, hosting a table, or supporting as a sponsor, participation helps extend the Greater Keller Women’s Club’s mission well into the future.
As the Greater Keller Women’s Club marks three decades of service, the 2026 Garden of Roses is more than simply a beautiful afternoon—it is a call to invest in the future of our community. Every seat filled, every
sponsorship and every bid placed helps open doors for students, strengthen local nonprofits, and continue a legacy built on generosity and leadership. Luxe in London invites the community to be a part of something lasting—a local tradition where elegance fuels impact, and where coming together truly changes lives.
The Garden of Roses remains a testament to the enduring power of women-led philanthropy and community connection. What began as a cherished tradition has grown into a catalyst for opportunity— funding education, supporting local nonprofits, and strengthening the fabric of the Keller community year after year. As guests gather for Luxe in London, they are not only stepping into an elegant experience, but into a shared commitment to give back in meaningful ways. The 2026 Garden of Roses continues a legacy where purpose is celebrated, generosity is amplified, and the impact extends far beyond the event. –

Optional: 1 large onion, 4 Tbsp butter
..................................................................
(1) Whisk together yeast and sugar with warm water in a small bowl until dissolved. Let sit for ten minutes or until foamy. If yeast is not foamy, start over.
..................................................................
(2) Whisk together five cups of flour with 1 Tbsp of salt in the bowl of a stand mixer. Add yeast mixture and 1/2 cup olive oil and mix with the dough hook attachment on low speed until the dough comes together. Add additional flour if the dough is too sticky. Mix on medium speed for 56 minutes until the dough is smooth.
..................................................................
(3) Knead the dough by hand on a flour surface until it comes together in a ball.
..................................................................
(4) Coat the inside of the mixing bowl with a bit of olive oil and return dough to bowl. Cover with a damp towel and place in a warm place, like a sunny windowsill, for 1-2 hours or until the dough has doubled in size.
..................................................................
(5) Optional: if making half caramelized onion muffins, melt butter in a saucepan, add sliced onion, and cook low and slow until ready to assemble.
..................................................................
(6) Coat 1.5 muffins tins with olive oil. Pinch dough into 1/4 cup amounts and place in muffin tin cavities. Let dough rise until doubled, about one hour.
..................................................................
7) Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
..................................................................
(8) Sprinkle focaccia with at least 1 Tbsp course sea salt and chopped rosemary and, if using, caramelized onions. Pile the onions high so they don’t burn. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil and pop in the oven for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.
..................................................................
9) Let cool in pan for 5 minutes... enjoy!
..................................................................

One day inspiration struck—what if focaccia went into a muffin tin? The result: irresistible focaccia muffins that can be classic rosemary or topped with endless variations like caramelized onion, pesto, mozzarella, tomato or olives. (Tip: pile onions high so they don’t burn.) Each muffin can be different, making them just as fun as they are delicious. Like all focaccia, they’re best enjoyed the day they’re made, but still tasty the next day too.

Trail. Among the favorites is the wood-fired pizza, a standout crowd-pleaser pairing beautifully with Bull Lion’s varietals. The pizza is crafted with fresh dough from two local pizzerias and topped with quality ingredients that strike a lovely balance between classic and creative. If you prefer a simple thin crust cheese, I’d recommend pairing it with the Trebbiano. It’s Bull Lion’s dry white with a hint of pear and a gentle pepper finish in this season’s bottle. If you go for the pepperoni pie, I’d match it with their bold Texianti (the Texas spin on a Chianti).
As someone who does not prefer red wine (though I love to learn and taste test), the Texianti is one I have fallen in love with. This season’s blend has delicate notes of cloves and berries with a whispered pepper finish. The blend is a 7-time Gold Medal winner at Grapevine’s People’s Choice for Medium Bodied Red Blend.
But the Italian influence doesn’t stop at pizza. Regulars have raved about the homemade Meatballs — tender, flavorful and perfectly seasoned—often featured as a

savory accompaniment to wine tastings or as part of a shareable appetizer spread. These meatballs evoke the comfort of a family kitchen and showcase the winery’s commitment to pairing its wines with food that truly feels rooted in tradition. Spaghetti Night is a community favorite at Bull Lion Ranch’s Vineyard, located in Chalk Mountain, Texas.
For dessert lovers out there, Bull Lion Winery offers one of its most delightful surprises: the Chocolate Chip Cannolis. These sweet treats are the perfect ending to a wine and food pairing adventure. Crisp shells give way to creamy, sweet filling studded with chocolate chips, offering a textural contrast that complements their lighter, fruitier pours. While not on every menu every day, when they are available, the Cheesecake and the chocolate covered strawberries have become a highlight for many visitors—a sweet note that caps off a memo-

rable visit with a touch of Italian dessert charm. Keep a lookout for the strawberries during Grapevine’s Valentine’s Day Wine Trail!
The atmosphere at Bull Lion’s wine tasting rooms enhances the food experience. With indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff ready to guide you through wine choices and a strong communityoriented vibe encouraging lingering for a bit, it’s no wonder locals and visitors return again and again. Whether you’re stopping in for an afternoon with friends, a pre-dinner drink or you’re just passin’ through Grapevine’s historic district, a wine tasting here offers a brief, welcome escape from the everyday. In Grapevine’s bustling wine scene, Bull Lion Ranch Winery stands out not only for its award-winning Texas wines, but for the way it weaves family-style hospitality into every visit—making it a tasting room you’ll remember long after your last sip.
