“My name is Sungei Vo, and staying active has always been a big part of who I am. As a busy professional, mom and fitness enthusiast approaching my mid-40s, I never expected a strained hip flexor to disrupt my life. The pain affected everything—walking sleeping and training for HYROX Houston fitness competition. After four weeks of chiropractic treatment with little improvement, I discovered PEMF Recovery Plus. What started as a search for pain relief became one of the most important tools in my recovery. PEMF helped me heal and also allowed me to regain my confidence, to continue training and finally feel like myself again.”

“Before PEMF, my injury had become incredibly limiting. I had a noticeable limp, constant deep hip pain and relied on a heating pad, TENS unit and ibuprofen just to get through the day. Running was out of the question, and I genuinely worried my mobility would continue to decline. Most of all, I feared I would have to give up on competing in HYROX altogether.”

FINDING HOPE THROUGH RECOVERY

“After discovering PEMF Recovery Plus, I committed fully to the process. In the beginning, I visited every other day for one hour sessions, combining full-body treatment with focused therapy directly on my hip. The sessions were surprisingly relaxing—almost like sitting in a massage chair with gentle pulses throughout my body. I could easily fall asleep during treatment. What amazed me was how quickly I noticed changes. After my very first session, the deep pain in my hip began to fade. Within only a few more visits, my limp started disappearing. I remember calling my husband almost in tears because, for the first time in weeks, I truly felt like healing was finally happening.”

MORE THAN PAIN RELIEF

“While my original goal was simply to recover from my injury, I quickly realized PEMF was helping me in ways I never expected. One of the biggest improvements was sleep. I used to stay awake scrolling on my phone until two in the morning, but now I can fall asleep within minutes of my head hitting the pillow. My body feels calmer, more relaxed and significantly less stressed. I also noticed a major increase in energy. Honestly, I feel 10 years younger. Between working full-time, raising a family and maintaining an active fitness schedule, having that extra energy has been life-changing. Even before my hip was fully healed, I could tell that my body was functioning better overall.”

GETTING BACK TO WHAT I LOVE

“I realized PEMF was truly working about four weeks into treatment. Before starting, my gym programmed running into a workout, and I physically couldn’t do it because of my injury. When running unexpectedly showed up again weeks later, I decided I would at least try to briskly walk. That walk turned into a jog, and before I knew it, I was fully running again. Running! It was emotional because it felt like I had gotten a piece of myself back. Today, I am able to train five to six days a week, recover faster and stay active without limits. And thanks to PEMF, I competed in HYROX Houston.”

A LASTING PART OF MY WELLNESS ROUTINE

“Now that my injury has improved significantly, PEMF has become part of my long-term wellness routine. I visit two to three times weekly for recovery and overall wellness support. Membership flexibility, including after-hours access, makes it easy to fit into my busy schedule. I appreciate that PEMF doesn't just target one area—it supports your entire body. Beyond PEMF helping my hip heal, it improved my sleep, energy, recovery and overall well-being. I recommend PEMF therapy to everyone because I experienced firsthand what it feels like to go from frustration and pain to real healing. It has helped me physically, emotionally and mentally. I’m incredibly grateful to have found PEMF!”

TOPS in Healthcare

Celebrating Society Life Magazine’s 9th Annual ‘Tops in Healthcare’ Winners EditorTalk SL

With three active kids at home, I find myself needing a good doctor more often than I’d like. Whether it’s tonsils coming out, surgery on a broken arm, sports injuries or unexpected illnesses, having a trusted medical team to turn to when Mom can’t fix it means everything. Great healthcare provides more than treatment—it offers reassurance, guidance and support when families need it most. Across Tarrant County, dedicated physicians, specialists and healthcare teams are making a meaningful difference through compassionate care, clinical excellence and a commitment to putting patients first. In this 9th annual Tops in Tarrant Medical Edition, we proudly celebrate 100 outstanding local medical practices that exemplify the very best in personalized, patient-focused healthcare.

HOW THE TOPS IN TARRANT WINNERS WERE CHOSEN: The Society Life ‘Tops in Tarrant’ medical list is a result of a website-based survey requesting suggestions for the top medical practice under each listed specialty. The 100 specialties were chosen by the Society Life editorial staff. It’s suggested that any medical practice serving the residents of Northeast Tarrant County was eligible—including, but not limited to, Society Life Magazine advertisers. If any practice was nominated for multiple specialties, it appears under only one category as decided by the Society Life staff. There are no duplicate business listings allowed—each practice may appear only once in the top 100. The final numbers are confidential and anonymous. The resulting list on pages 22-23 of this issue reflects who received the most votes from the final survey nominations. All listings are alphabetical under their respective medical specialty—they are not listed by number of votes or any other ranking.

Please join us in congratulating the exceptional physicians, providers and medical teams recognized on this year's Top 100 list. This honor reflects the trust they have earned through compassionate care and an unwavering commitment to helping patients and families thrive. From routine wellness visits to life-changing diagnoses, these practices serve as trusted partners. If you are searching for a healthcare provider for yourself or a loved ones, we hope this guide introduces you to some of the most respected and trusted medical professionals in our community (winners list on pages 22-23).

ROOTED IN FAITH

STRENGTH FOR DAILY LIFE

THE GOD WHO

Heals

Life has a way of leaving wounds we never expected. Some are physical, while others are emotional, relational or spiritual. We carry burdens from loss, disappointment, illness and heartache, often wondering if healing will ever come. Yet throughout Scripture, God reveals Himself as a healer who sees our pain and meets us in our brokenness. His healing may not always arrive in the way or timing we desire, but His presence, compassion and power remain constant. In every season of suffering, believers find hope in knowing God is still the One who restores, renews and makes all things new.

JEHOVAH RAPHA: THE LORD WHO HEALS

One of God’s names in the Old Testament is Jehovah Rapha, which means “The Lord who heals” (Exodus 15:26). This name reminds us healing is not simply something God does—it is part of His very nature. When the Israelites wandered through the wilderness, they faced uncertainty, fear and physical needs. God continually demonstrated His care by providing for them and reminding them that He was their source of restoration. The same truth remains today. Whether we face sickness, anxiety, grief or discouragement, God invites us to bring every hurt before Him.

HEALING BEYOND THE PHYSICAL

While Jesus performed countless physical miracles during His earthly ministry, His healing work extended far beyond the body. He restored broken lives, forgave sins, calmed fears and offered hope to those society had forgotten. Psalm 147:3 declares, “He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.” Some of our deep-

est injuries are invisible to others. Betrayal, loneliness, regret and disappointment can leave lasting scars. Yet God specializes in healing places that human efforts cannot reach. His restoration often comes through prayer, Scripture, Christian community and the quiet work of the Holy Spirit within us. Day by day, He replaces despair with peace and weakness with renewed strength.

TRUSTING THE PROCESS

Healing is not always instantaneous. Sometimes God performs miracles in a moment. Other times He works gradually, teaching us dependence, patience and faith along the way. The Apostle Paul understood this reality. Despite praying repeatedly for God to remove his “thorn in the flesh,” God’s answer was, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9). Even when complete healing has not yet arrived, God’s grace sustains us. His presence becomes the strength that carries us through difficult seasons in our lives.

A PROMISE OF RESTORATION

Revelation 21:4 promises a day when God “will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.” Until that day, we can trust the heart of our Heavenly Father. He is still Jehovah Rapha—the God who heals. Whether He restores our bodies, renews our hearts or strengthens our spirits, His healing touch remains available. In every wound, every struggle and every season of waiting, we can rest in the promise that the Great Physician is still at work. No matter what battle you face today—emotional pain, physical illness, broken relationships or seasons of uncertainty—remember the same God who healed the sick, comforted the hurting and restored the broken is still at work today. His timing may not match our expectations, but His faithfulness never fails. As we place our trust in Him, we can move forward with confidence, knowing His healing power, sustaining grace and unfailing love are continually working to bring hope, restoration and purpose to our lives.

Revealing Your Greatness

RIPE READS BOOK REVIEWS

In a culture that constantly pushes hustle, achievement and performance, Macie Jules’ book, Revealing Your Greatness: What Is Found in Abiding, Not Striving offers a refreshing and also deeply encouraging reminder that true greatness is not earned through exhaustion, but revealed through peace, purpose and identity. Through personal stories, faithfilled reflections and practical wisdom, Jules invites her readers to slow down, release pressure and rediscover who they were created to be. What makes this book impactful is its authenticity. Jules writes with warmth, vulnerability and sincerity, creating the feeling of sitting down with a trusted friend rather than simply reading another motivational book. Her message centers around the idea that striving to prove our worth often leaves us anxious, overwhelmed and disconnected from ourselves, while “abiding, ” or living rooted in faith, peace and purpose, allows genuine confidence and fulfillment to emerge naturally.

Throughout this book, the readers are encouraged to embrace growth without perfectionism and to understand that challenges, disappointments and even setbacks can become part of a greater transformation. Macie Jules beautifully compares this process to the formation of a pearl, reminding readers that beauty and strength are often developed quietly beneath the surface.

It is a message that feels especially timely for anyone who is navigating pressure, uncertainty or comparison in today’s fastpaced world. Another strength of the book Revealing Your Greatness is its broad appeal. While grounded in faith, the book’s themes of identity, purpose, confidence and emotional wellness are relatable to readers of all ages and seasons of life. Young women, leaders, entrepreneurs and really anyone seeking a healthier, more grounded perspective on success will likely find encouragement within its pages.

Macie Jules writes with a wisdom beyond her years, balancing heartfelt storytelling with practical insight that readers can immediately apply to their own lives. Her passion for helping others recognize their God-given value shines through every chapter. Revealing Your Greatness is not about becoming someone new—it is about uncovering the greatness that already exists within you. It is an uplifting, hope-filled read that encourages readers to stop striving for approval and start living from a place of peace, purpose and authenticity. What began as a heartfelt letter to her 5-year-younger sister written to encourage her to overcome obstacles, embrace individuality and allow God to lead her path has evolved into a powerful and inspiring book that is filled with faith, wisdom and encouragement for readers of every stage and every age.

The Hidden Financial Issues in Texas Divorces

BOARD CERTIFIED SHAREHOLDER DREW WILLIAMSON

Divorce is often associated with emotional decisions and custody disputes, but for many Texas families, the most significant consequences are financial. Especially in large asset divorces, the issues beneath the surface are often more complex than simply dividing bank accounts or selling a home.

PROPERTY DIVISION Texas is a community property state, which means most assets acquired during marriage are presumed to belong to both spouses. However, many people are surprised to learn how complicated that analysis can become. Business interests, investment accounts, executive compensation, trusts, retirement assets, and real estate holdings frequently require extensive financial review before a final division of the estate can occur.

BUSINESS VALUATIONS One of the most common areas of dispute involves closely held businesses. A company started before marriage may still involve community property if the business increased in value during the marriage or if marital funds contributed to its growth. Determining the true value of a business often requires forensic accountants, valuation experts, and detailed financial analysis.

EXECUTIVE COMPENSATION Executive compensation can create additional challenges. Bonuses, deferred compensation plans, stock options and partnership interests are not always straightforward to divide. Some benefits may not fully vest until years after the divorce is finalized, creating complicated questions regarding what portion belongs to the marital estate.

REAL ESTATE COMPLEXITIES Real estate can also involve hidden financial considerations beyond market value alone. Vacation homes, investment properties, and rental portfolios may carry tax consequences, deferred maintenance costs, or complicated ownership structures that significantly affect their actual value.

DIGITAL EVIDENCE Modern divorce cases increasingly involve digital evidence as well. Financial records, social media activity,

electronic communications and online transactions often play an important role in litigation. At the same time, individuals should be cautious about improperly accessing private accounts or communications, as violations of privacy laws can also create serious legal exposure.

EARLY PLANNING Perhaps the most important financial mistake individuals make is waiting too long before they seek professional guidance. Early planning, organized financial records, and a clear understanding of both assets and liabilities can significantly affect the outcome of a divorce.

PROTECTING YOUR FUTURE While every case is different, one thing remains consistent—divorce is not simply an emotional transition, it is often one of the largest financial events a person will ever experience. Understanding the hidden financial issues involved can help individuals protect their businesses, assets and longterm financial stability.

INTERNATIONAL CREATIVE PROBLEM-SOLVING COMPETITION STUDENTS SHINE AT ODYSSEY OF THE MIND WORLD FINALS

Southlake Carroll ISD students delivered an impressive performance at the 2026 Odyssey of the Mind World Finals, held May 27-30 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. The international competition brought together nearly 700 teams from across the United States and around the world to showcase their creativity, teamwork and problem-solving abilities through a series of challenging long-term and spontaneous events. Carroll began the season with 20 teams competing at the North Texas Regional Tournament. Sixteen teams advanced to the Texas State Finals in Houston, and seven teams ultimately earned a coveted spot at the World Finals. Representing Southlake CISD were 48 students who competed against some of the world’s most innovative young minds. Leading the way was an Eubanks Intermediate School team that earned 2nd Place in Problem 1: Off the Rails (Vehicular), Division II, competing against 56 teams from around the globe. Rockenbaugh Elementary School achieved an outstanding 5th Place finish in Problem 3: The Epic Quest (Classics), Division I, among 63 competing teams.

Additional Carroll teams turned in impressive performances at the World Finals, including a 14th-place finish by Carroll Senior High School in Problem 3: The Epic Quest (Classics), Division III; a 16th-place finish by Eubanks Intermediate School in Problem 4: Life’s a Ball! (Structural), Division II; and a 17th-place finish by Durham Intermediate School in Problem 5: Taller Tales of John Jivery (Performance), Division I. Carroll High School earned 28th place in Problem 4: Life's a Ball! (Structural), Division III, while another Carroll Senior High School team placed 29th in the same division, showcasing the depth of talent and creativity across Southlake Carroll ISD’s Odyssey of the Mind program.

Odyssey of the Mind challenges teams of up to seven students to solve complex problems through original thinking, engineering, performance and collaboration. Students spend months developing their solutions independently before presenting them in an eight-minute competition performance and participating in an on-site spontaneous problem challenge. Southlake Carroll’s success reflects the dedication of its students, coaches and families, as well as the generous support of sponsors like Peer Islands, Paul Alwine of Edward Jones and Southlake Association for Gifted and Talented (SAGT). Their commitment helped make this remarkable achievement possible. Competing on the world stage is an extraordinary accomplishment, and Southlake Carroll’s Odyssey of the Mind teams once again demonstrated why Dragon students continue to excel in creativity, innovation and teamwork.

THE VOTING PROCESS

The medical practices listed here are the result of our website-based survey requesting votes for the top local leaders in 100 common medical specialties. These 100 specialties were hand selected by the Society Life editorial staff and voting took place online on our website. It was suggested that any medical practice or facility serving residents of Northeast Tarrant was eligible—including, but not limited to, magazine advertisers. If any medical practice or facility was nominated for multiple specialties, it will only appear once in the Top 100. The list includes only the Top nomination under each specialty and all of the winner’s listings are in alphabetical order by their respective specialty nomination, not in any order of ranking.

STORY

Exceptional healthcare is about more than medical expertise—it’s about the relationships that help patients and families feel supported every step of the way. Across Tarrant County, dedicated doctors, specialists and healthcare teams are making a big impact through compassionate care, excellence and a commitment to treating the whole person. They listen carefully, educate thoughtfully and serve as trusted partners through both everyday wellness and life’s most challenging moments. As medicine continues to advance, these top providers remain focused on what matters most—personalized care that improves lives and strengthens our community. In recognition of their outstanding service, we proudly present our 9th annual Tops in Tarrant Medical Edition, honoring the Top 100 medical practices nominated and voted on by the community for unwavering dedication to patient-centered care. TOP 100 MEDICAL PRACTICES

COVER STORY

When it comes to healthcare, more patients are seeking something increasingly difficult to find — time, access and a physician who truly knows them. At Avyanna Wellness Institute and The 100 Club, Dr. Lé Santha Naidoo has built a truly innovative concierge medicine model that puts relationships, prevention and personalized care back at the center of healthcare.

Avyanna Wellness Institute

DR. LÉ SANTHA NAIDOO

FOUNDING PHYSICIAN & CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER THE 100 CLUB – CONCIERGE MEDICINE

That commitment has earned Dr. Lé Santha the distinction of being voted Tarrant County's Top Concierge Medicine practice, recognizing a philosophy that prioritizes wellness long before illness occurs.

A Different Vision of Healthcare

Award-winning concierge physician Dr. Lé Santha N aidoo combines her expertise in osteopathic medicine with triple board certifications in Family Medicine, Integrative and Holistic Medicine, and Obesity Medicine. She specializes in longevity, age management and cellular health optimization, bringing together advanced medical technology and a whole-person approach to wellness. Her philosophy is a simple, but powerful belief that health is influenced by far more than just prescriptions and diagnoses. “I believe everything we interact with—people, food, media and our environment—plays a role in our health and our wellness,” Dr. Lé Santha explains. Rather than handing patients a treatment plan and sending them on their way, she works alongside them to create a strategy that aligns with the life they want to live. That partnership-driven philosophy serves as the foundation of Avyanna Wellness Institute and is a defining reason patients seek her care.

The 100 Club Difference

At the heart of the practice is The 100 Club, an exclusive concierge membership that accepts a maximum of 100 members by design, not limitation—ensuring every health partner receives the level of attention that actually moves the needle. While most physicians are responsible for hundreds or even thousands of patients, Dr. Lé Santha has chosen a different path. By limiting her patient panel, she can provide an exceptional level of access, attention and personalized care. Members receive tailored wellness plans, telehealth support, advanced diagnostics, comprehensive evaluations, office and home visits, plus individualized health strategies designed specifically for their goals and lifestyle. The number 100 has special significance. It reflects her commitment to caring for no more than 100 patients while helping them achieve 100 percent of their health potential and, ideally, enjoy vibrant lives well beyond 100 years of age. “Healthcare should adapt to your life, not the other way around,” she admits. Through detailed testing and cellular-level analysis, she helps her patients better understand what specific changes can help them achieve optimal wellness.

Building a Community of Wellness

What truly distinguishes The 100 Club is that it functions as more than a concierge medical practice. It is also a wellness-focused community. Inspired by the principles of the world’s Blue Zones—regions known for exceptional longevity and quality of life—Dr. Lé Santha has created an environment where health extends beyond the exam room. Members are encouraged to engage in purposeful living, meaningful relationships, movement, social connection and community service. She believes these elements are every bit as important to long-term wellness as nutrition,

Redefining Concierge Medicine

exercise and medical care. Her focus on purpose, community and meaningful connection aligns with growing research showing that strong social relationships and emotional well-being play a vital role in healthy aging, wellness and longevity.

A Nationally Recognized Leader

Dr. Lé Santha’s work has earned recognition far beyond North Texas. She is a three-time recipient of the Presidential Spirit of Community Service Award and has been honored in Marquis Who’s Who of Top Doctors in America. She has also been recognized as one of America’s Best Concierge Doctors and received the Health 2.0 Excellence in Healthcare Award. A bestselling author, speaker, mentor and philanthropist, she has inspired audiences around the world. Her expertise has been featured on ABC, NBC, CBS and Fox, and she has spoken before distinguished audiences at NASA, the NASDAQ, the New York Academy of Medicine, the Harvard Club of Boston and MIT. She’s also shared the stage with the 15th U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Jocelyn Elders. Throughout her career, she has remained dedicated to helping individuals unlock their full potential. And the numbers don’t lie—100 Club members achieve on average, a biologic age 15+ years younger than their chronological age— outcomes GlycanAge has called unmatched by any practice worldwide.

Healthcare Reimagined

For Dr. Lé Santha, concierge medicine is not about exclusivity—it is about creating the time

and space necessary to know and serve each patient. “In my practice, I believe that the best healthcare isn’t reactive—it’s a lifelong partnership designed around you because real wealth is true health.” By blending cutting-edge science and personalized attention and genuine human connection, she is redefining what healthcare can look like in the modern age. As Tarrant County’s top Concierge Medicine practice, Avyanna Wellness Institute and The 100 Club continue to demonstrate that the future of healthcare may not be found in treating disease after it occurs, but in helping people cultivate vitality, purpose and well-being long before they ever need treatment.

Where Wellness Becomes a Way of Life

For Dr. Lé Santha, medicine is not about treating symptoms alone—it’s about helping people create extraordinary lives. Through The 100 Club, she has removed many of healthcare’s barriers and replaced them with time, access, education and genuine human connection. Her vision extends even further with the opening of the Avyanna Wellness Institute Elite Longevity Center in Southlake in 2026, bringing advanced preventive, regenerative and longevity-focused diagnostics and treatment protocols under one roof. With innovation, compassion, science and community, Dr. Lé Santha is creating a new model of care centered on prevention, vitality and healthy aging. As more patients embrace this transformative approach, one thing is clear—she’s not simply redefining concierge medicine—she’s redefining what is truly possible for lifelong wellness.

COVER STORY

For patients struggling with failing teeth, uncomfortable dentures or extensive dental problems, the thought of restoring an entire smile can feel overwhelming. Fortunately, advances in implant dentistry have transformed what is possible, allowing patients to regain confidence, comfort and function faster than ever before.

The DFW Dental Implant Center

PROSTHODONTIST

At the DFW Dental Implant Center in Colleyville, Dr. Steven Branberg has built a reputation for helping patients achieve smile transformations through advanced implant solutions, including the innovative All-on-X (AOX) Implant Bridge. Combining extensive prosthodontic expertise, advanced technology and a highly personalized approach, Dr. Branberg delivers comprehensive care designed to restore both smiles and quality of life.

Prosthodontist Dr. Steven Branberg

Known affectionately by his patients as “Dr. B,” Dr. Steven Branberg brings decades of advanced training and experience to every case. After he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Irvine, he completed both his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and Prosthodontic Certificate at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry. As a prosthodontist, Dr. Steven Branberg specializes in complex restorative dentistry, including dental implants and full-mouth rehabilitation. One of the aspects his patients appreciate most is his comprehensive approach. Rather than referring patients between multiple providers, Dr. Branberg oversees every stage of treatment—from planning and implant placement to the design and delivery of the final restoration. This streamlined process provides continuity of care while helping patients achieve more predictable outcomes.

Complex Restorative Dentistry Solutions

Designed for patients who are missing most or all of their teeth—or whose remaining teeth are no longer healthy enough to save—the AOX system provides a permanent, fixed alternative to traditional dentures. Unlike removable dentures that commonly shift, slip or require adhesives, the AOX Implant Bridge is securely anchored to dental implants placed within the jawbone. The result is a stable and natural-looking smile that functions much like healthy natural teeth. The treatment is often completed using strategically placed implants that support an entire upper or lower arch of teeth. Because the restoration is fixed in place, patients can enjoy confidence when eating, speaking and smiling without worrying about movement or discomfort. Beyond superior aesthetics, implant-supported restorations help preserve jawbone health by stimulating the bone and reducing the deterioration that often follows tooth loss. This support can help maintain facial structure and prevent the sunken appearance associated with long-term denture wear. AOX offers one of the most advanced full-arch tooth replacement solutions available anywhere today.

A Fully Integrated Approach

One of the unique advantages of DFW Dental Implant Center is its fully integrated treatment model. Dr. Branberg works alongside an expert team that includes an in-office anesthesiologist and on-site laboratory professionals. This collaborative approach allows much of the treatment process to occur under one roof, improving efficiency and patient convenience. Advanced diagnostic technology plays a critical role as well. Detailed 3D CT imaging enables precise treatment planning, helping Dr. Branberg evaluate bone structure, identify anatomical considerations and determine optimal implant placement before

Delivering Life-Changing Smiles THE AOX IMPLANT BRIDGE DIFFERENCE

surgery even begins. The DFW Dental Implant Center’s in-house laboratory capabilities also provide significant benefits. Custom restorations can be designed and refined with exceptional accuracy, resulting in prosthetics that closely mimic the appearance, the feel and the function of natural teeth.

A Streamlined Path to a New Smile

For many patients, one of the most appealing aspects of the AOX Implant Bridge is the efficiency of the treatment process. The journey begins with a comprehensive consultation, during which patients receive a complete examination, digital imaging and a customized treatment plan. Every step of treatment is reviewed in detail, allowing patients to fully understand both the process and associated costs before moving forward. Once treatment is planned, implant placement is performed under general anesthesia administered by their in-office anesthesiologist. During the dental procedure, any remaining compromised teeth may be removed, implants are precisely placed and a temporary fixed bridge is often attached the same day. Patients leave with a functional smile while healing takes place. Over the following months, the new implants integrate with the jawbone through a process known as osseointegration. Once healing is complete, the final custom-crafted AOX Implant Bridge is secured, delivering a long-lasting restoration. This solution is ideal for those suffering from failing teeth, severe decay, or ill-fitting dentures, offering a long-lasting, often permanent, restoration.

More Than a Cosmetic Improvement

While the visual transformation can be dramatic, the benefits of AOX treatment extend far beyond appearance. Many patients report improvements in their ability to eat favorite foods, speak clearly and participate confidently in social situations. Activities that may have become stressful with failing teeth or unstable dentures often become effortless again. For some, the greatest change is emotional. Years of embarrassment, discomfort or self-consciousness can be replaced with renewed confidence and freedom. Patients frequently describe the experience as life-changing, not simply because of how their smile looks, but because of how they feel afterward.

Restoring Confidence, One Smile at a Time

Choosing a full-mouth restoration is a significant decision, and Dr. Branberg understands the trust patients place in his team. While the practice is known for advanced implant solutions like the AOX Implant Bridge, DFW Dental Implant Center also provides comprehensive cosmetic, restorative and general dentistry services, ensuring every patient receives the treatment that best fits their needs. From same-day emergency care and tooth extractions to routine hygiene visits and long-term maintenance, Dr. B and his team are committed to helping their patients achieve and maintain healthy, confident smiles for years to come. Advanced technology, clinical expertise and compassionate care mean patients rediscover what a confident smile can mean—not just for their appearance, but for their quality of life.

New Beginnings Family Aesthetics

stepped into the DFW market as the first clinic to establish Stem Cell Hair Restoration as a primary specialty. Today, they are a rising leader in regenerative aesthetics, operating three premier clinics across the metroplex.

New Beginnings Family Aesthetics SL

DR. FAN YANG, DPT, WTS

PHYSICAL THERAPY, TRICHOLOGY, OWNER

For many men and women, thinning hair impacts confidence, self-image and quality of life. That's why more patients are turning to advanced, non-surgical hair restoration solutions that focus on supporting healthy hair growth while addressing the underlying causes. Leading that effort is Clinic Director Grant Joung and Dr. Fan Yang, DPT, WTS who created a trusted destination for patients seeking personalized, sciencebased solutions for hair restoration and overall wellness.

GRANT JOUNG

A New Beginning

What sets New Beginnings Family Aesthetics apart is its commitment to treating each patient as an individual rather than simply addressing symptoms. Hair loss occurs for many reasons, including genetics, hormonal changes, stress, nutritional deficiencies, aging and some medical conditions. Rather than offering a one-size-fitsall solution, their team takes time to evaluate each patient’s unique circumstances before creating a customized treatment plan. This patient-centered philosophy has helped to establish the practice as a leader in regenerative aesthetics and hair restoration. Every treatment begins with understanding the root causes of hair loss and then identifying the most effective options to help their patients achieve long-term results. The outcome is a highly personalized experience designed for patients to regain not only their hair, but also their confidence.

Meet Dr. Fan Yang

At the heart of the practice’s success is Dr. Fan Yang, DPT, WTS, a healthcare professional whose unique background allows her to bring a comprehensive perspective to patient care. As a physical therapist, in addition to a trichology specialist (the scientific study of the hair and scalp), Dr. Yang combines expertise in rehabilitation, wellness and hair health. Her approach focuses on helping patients achieve optimal physical function while also addressing hair and scalp concerns through individualized treatment plans. Dr. Yang is known for her compassionate bedside manner and commitment to patient education. She believes informed patients make better decisions about their own care, and she spends time helping individuals understand the factors contributing to their hair loss and the treatment options available to them. It’s this dedication to personalized care that’s earned the trust of patients throughout the region who are searching for answers and lasting solutions.

The Vision Behind New Beginnings Clinic Director Grant Joung has played a key role in shaping the culture and mission of New Beginnings Family Aesthetics. His vision extends beyond aesthetics alone. Instead, he has focused on building a practice centered on empowerment, education and helping people feel their best from the inside out. That core philosophy is evident throughout every patient interaction. From their initial consultations through treatment and follow-up care, the goal is to create an environment where patients feel heard, respected and supported. The practice’s growth has been driven largely by patient referrals and positive experiences—a testament to their team’s commitment to exceptional service and genuine relationships.

Science Meets Restoration

Advanced Regenerative Hair Solutions

New Beginnings Family Aesthetics offers truly innovative regenerative therapies designed to stimulate natural hair growth and improve scalp health. One of the practice’s most soughtafter treatments is stem cell hair therapy, a cutting-edge approach that helps encourage the body’s natural regenerative processes. By supporting dormant or weakened hair follicles, these treatments can help patients experience thicker, healthier-looking hair over time. Unlike traditional approaches that focus solely on masking hair loss, regenerative treatments work to enhance the scalp environment and support natural growth cycles. Patients appreciate the minimally invasive nature of these procedures and the opportunity to pursue hair restoration without surgery. The practice is continually evaluating emerging technologies and evidencebased techniques to ensure patients have access to the most advanced treatment options available.

More Than Just Hair Restoration

Although New Beginnings Family Aesthetics has earned Tops recognition for its expertise in medical hair restoration, the practice’s mission extends beyond hair health. Their practice’s holistic philosophy recognizes the connection between appearance, wellness and confidence. By addressing overall health factors that may contribute to hair loss, patients can experience benefits that reach far beyond aesthetics alone. This whole-person approach aligns with their team also offering patients microneedling with

exosomes—a powerful regenerative service for skin. Whether experiencing early thinning, significant hair loss or simply looking to improve scalp and skin health, New Beginnings Family Aesthetics focuses on creating realistic goals and customized plans tailored to individual needs.

Top in Healthcare

Winning the Tops in Healthcare award for Medical Hair Restoration reflects the dedication, expertise and patient-focused care that have become hallmarks of New Beginnings Family Aesthetics. For Dr. Fan Yang, Grant Joung and their entire team, the recognition serves as a reminder of the lives they impact every day. Hair restoration is about more than improving appearance—it’s about helping people regain confidence and feel like themselves again.

Through advanced regenerative therapies and innovative hair restoration solutions, New Beginnings Family Aesthetics focuses on supporting the body’s natural healing and rejuvenation processes to achieve healthier, natural-looking results. By combining science, wellness and personalized care, the practice continues to help patients throughout North Texas look their best, feel their best and to embrace each new chapter with renewed confidence. As regenerative medicine continues to evolve, their team remains committed to delivering leading-edge treatments that will empower patients to age gracefully today and live more confidently for their tomorrows.

Rebuilding Lives, Restoring Hope

For many single parents facing homelessness, domestic violence or financial hardship, the road to stability can feel overwhelming. The nonprofit Chat N Chew, based in North Texas, got its name from its founding origins, when a group of women gathered over lunch to discuss their shared passion for serving others and supporting single parents. What began as a conversation about making a difference evolved into a mission with lasting impact.

Chat N Chew was built from lived experience rather than theory. Inspired by her own journey through hardship, the founder created the organization to ensure single parents do not have to rebuild their lives alone. Today, Chat N Chew walks alongside families with practical support, encouragement and hope as they move toward stability, self-sufficiency and a brighter future.

For families facing homelessness, domestic violence and financial hardship, immediate needs often come first. Chat N Chew meets people where they are by helping provide safe shelter, food, clothing and stability during times of crisis. From there, the organization focuses on long-term success through life coaching, financial guidance and trauma-informed therapy, empowering single parents with tools, support and confidence needed to rebuild their lives and create a brighter future.

BUILT FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE

The nonprofit founder Marvee McLendon understands firsthand the challenges many of the families she serves face today. After navigating her own season of loss, financial struggles and uncertainty, she felt called to help others avoid having to start over alone. “I’m passionate about passing on what I learned the hard way so someone else doesn’t have to start from zero,” McLendon said. “If my experience can shorten that path for someone else, let’s go!” That personal experience continues to shape the culture of Chat N Chew. The organization’s approach is rooted in faith, practical support and genuine relationships rather than simply providing temporary assistance. “Faith and familycentered. Straight talker. Problem solver. Go-getter,” McLendon shared when describing herself. “I believe consistency in small things changes lives more than big moments ever will. One life at a time.”

MEETING IMMEDIATE NEEDS FIRST

Chat N Chew focuses first on helping families meet their most urgent needs. Through its food pantry, community partnerships and support programs, the organization works to provide essentials such as food, clothing, safe shelter and stability for families experiencing crisis. The nonprofit also distributes bridge bags

Chat N Chew is a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded by Marvee McLendon and built from lived experience, not theory. The organization walks alongside single parents rebuilding their lives after domestic violence, homelessness and other hardships, providing support, resources and encouragement every step of the way. In addition to helping families achieve housing stability, Chat N Chew (CNC) combats food insecurity through programs that also provide meals and groceries to children and families during school breaks and other times of need.

filled with necessities and provides resources designed to help parents navigate difficult transitions. Community events throughout the year further connect each family with support while helping combat food insecurity. For families struggling to make ends meet, these services often provide the critical foundation needed before long-term progress can begin.

A PATH TOWARD LONG-TERM STABILITY

While emergency assistance is important, Chat N Chew's mission extends far beyond meeting immediate needs. The organization walks alongside single parents as they rebuild their lives after domestic violence, homelessness and other hardships. Families receive support through life coaching, financial guidance, trauma-informed therapy referrals and access to community resources that help create lasting stability. Transitional housing assistance and individualized support help parents move from crisis mode toward independence and selfsufficiency. The organization’s goal is not simply to provide services, but to help families rediscover confidence, rebuild financial independence—create a healthier future for themselves and their children.

MORE THAN A NONPROFIT

At its heart, Chat N Chew is really about relationships. Whether they’re providing groceries through its food pantry, helping

a mother secure stable housing or simply offering encouragement during a difficult season, the organization focuses on walking alongside families every step of the way. By combining practical resources with compassion, community and faith, Chat N Chew continues to make a meaningful difference throughout North Texas— it all starts with one family, one conversation and one restored life at a time.

TURNING HARDSHIP INTO HOPE

As Chat N Chew continues to grow, its mission remains rooted in a simple belief: every family deserves the opportunity to move beyond survival and into stability. Through compassion, accountability and consistent support, the organization is helping single parents rewrite their stories and build brighter futures for their children. For McLendon, the work is about more than providing resources—it is about restoring hope. By sharing the lessons she learned through her own journey, she is creating pathways for oth ers to overcome obstacles, discover their strength and realize that a fresh start is possible. Chat N Chew stands with single parents rebuilding after hardship, helping families move beyond survival and create a strong foundation for lasting hope and independence.

GREEK PITA PIZZA no bake

This Greek Pita Pizza is the perfect solution for a quick lunch or light dinner without heating up the house during Texas summer. With cucumbers and tomatoes at their seasonal peak, this easy recipe delivers bright Mediterranean flavors in every bite. Best of all, it's endlessly customizable — swap roasted red peppers, artichoke hearts, hummus, goat cheese or mozzarella to make it your own. While feta is always my favorite, the possibilities are endless for this simple dish that has become a regular staple in my kitchen.

HOUSE OF TORO

CHOPHOUSE & PATIO

For a restaurant that is still one of Westlake’s newest, House of Toro Chophouse & Patio already feels like a polished classic. Nestled inside the newly transformed Ricardo Marriott (formerly the Marriott Solana Westlake), the House of Toro delivers a luxurious steakhouse experience blending modern sophistication with warm hospitality, making it a standout addition to the Tarrant County dining scene.

Nathanael Sanders joins Ricardo Marriott Westlake as the Chef de Cuisine of House of Toro, bringing more than a decade of experience in professional kitchens and six years of culinary development in Texas. Originally from Knoxville and raised in Southern California, Chef Sanders blends Southern roots with West Coast sensibility and Texas seasoning to create ingredient-forward, modern cuisine.

He played key roles in the openings of Carbone in Dallas and Trick Rider in Frisco, a specialist in fresh

pasta, baking and precise meat and seafood fabrication, Sanders is known for technical skill and a meticulous production approach.

From the moment you enter, it’s clear that House of Toro is more than just a hotel restaurant. It’s both intimate and grand all at once with striking design elements and rich colors that are inspired by the renowned architect Ricardo Legorreta, whose influence can be seen throughout the property.

One of the first features that will capture your full attention is the stunning bar. Beautifully designed to be undeniably inviting, it serves as the social heart of the restaurant

Whether you arrive early for a handcrafted cocktail or linger after dinner for a nightcap, the House of Toro bar provides the perfect spot to soak in the entirety of the sophisticated atmosphere.

Of course, the star of the evening is the steak. From Petite Filets to a

Delmonico or a Porterhouse for Two, each USDA Prime Selection is expertly prepared and cooked with precision. A wide range of steak enhancements are available, such as Blue Cheese Brûlée or a classic Bearnaise, but my not-tobe-missed accoutrement would be the Bone Marrow Butter. The Marrow Butter adds a rich, velvety depth that enhances the natural flavor of the beef without overpowering it. It’s a thoughtful and theatrical touch—torched and then melted onto the steak tableside— that truly transforms an already excellent steak into something quite memorable.

If beef isn’t really your thing, not to fear, House of Toro is still for you. Other Mains include Scallops accompanied with saffron lemon butter, Whole Branzino and Ibérico Pork Chop. Whatever you pick, save room for dessert because House of Toro finishes strong. The Basque Cheesecake is pillowy and

decadent, perfectly balanced with a lemon curd and fresh berries. For chocolate lovers, the House of Toro Chocolate Cake is equally impressive. Rich, indulgent and deeply satisfying with chocolate ganache and chocolate mousse layers. However, my not-to-be-missed meal ender is definitely the Dulce de Leche Churro Cake. It’s very caramel-y, a little cinnamon-y and served with Texas Honey Whiskey Ice Cream.

If you have checked out the bar, enjoyed your meal and you’re still not ready for the night to end, visit the Black Pearl, House of Toro’s Caviar Lounge. It’s another great option for a pre- or post-dinner escape. House of Toro blends prime steaks with a truly unhurried spirit and refined service. It’s the true embodiment of luxuriate making it a perfect “stay awhile” option for date nights, birthday celebrations or simply treating yourself to an exceptional meal at the end of a long day.
