When we started Social Works 5 years ago, no one would ever have hoped it would go as well as it has. We had no idea what we were getting into because it was such a new market at the time. We just saw huge potential, so it has been such a blessing that we dared to take that chance. We have made many mistakes along the way, but it has been an essential part of the process, helping us to grow. There is no user manual for social media – we just followed our gut feeling and what came to us naturally, which has taught me to be more selective with what I say yes to. Landing a hair campaign with L’Oréal and Garnier is something I have been dreaming of since I started my model career and fits so well into my universe as an influencer.

Moments from the past 5 years that have brought me the most joy are going from being a couple to forming a little family. I have gotten to know myself much better because I am a lot more aware of which values I want to pass on to Kenya. It is difficult for me to pick out a specific moment, as she constantly brings out so many smiles and happiness right into my innermost being. I am so proud of the little human we have created, who wants nothing but good in this world, which has given me a new perspective on life. I have always wanted to give Kenya a little brother or sister who will forever be her close and loyal companion. The greatest gift I have ever received from my parents is without a doubt my sister. I look forward to experiencing the love and bond between them. The way Kenya talks and cares about the baby already feels so unreal.
