Don’t let imposter syndrome stop you from following your dreams!

Be open to being open! Be vulnerable and real in your responses, and they will get the opportunity to see the real you.

Apply early, don’t procrastinate writing your essay answers or getting in your references!

Talk to people in the field to learn more about your intended career path.

You don’t know what you don’t know—try to go to as many info sessions as possible.

Value your personal lived experiences. Don’t hesitate to go back to school at any point of your life. You are never too old to learn and grow.

Know why you are interested in pursuing a MSW from UW particularly.

Trust your gut, be open and honest about your purpose for doing this work.

Schedule time to complete and work on application materials.

If you don't apply, you'll never know.
