School of Music and Performing Arts aims to nurture the artist that’s alive in each one of us through Music, Dance and Drama.

Vocal Dance

An 8-year-long program where students will learn Rhythm, Voice training, Notations, Ear training and Music in culture & Technology and Utilities across Indian music and world music.

Students are exposed to the basics of contemporary, Hip Hop, Robotics, Indian Folk, and Bollywood Fusion. They are also exposed to Western Forms of Dance and Indie Classical Fusion in higher grades.

Drama

Students learn about emotions, language, voice modulation and the art of presenting theatricals. The Drama program is woven into two theatricals through dance.

Technology

Technology is not just a text at Universal – it is a way of learning & a way of life! At Universal, Technology is integral to bringing together the learners, teachers, parents and community and not just a parade of new gadgetry.

Classroom Coding

Interactive technology is a vital part of the new and modern classrooms. It is a powerful tool that enables teachers to present information and complex ideas in an easy-to-understand method.

Students have access to the Laptop Lab, where each student works on a structured ICT curriculum. Students learn to ‘Code’ as a part of their curriculum through the ‘Scratch’ programming language.

Robotics

Robotics can be a great way for young students to learn about science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts. It can also help them develop creativity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
