Admission Requirements
The institution admission intake capacity is 100 seats every year. The centralised admission process is followed as per the rules and regulations of the University of Mumbai. Being the Gujarati minority institution, Gujarati-speaking students irrespective of their religion and caste can get admission in the first round of centralised admission process (CAP).
Teacher Training Highlights
Bloom's Taxonomy
The college uses three hierarchical models of bloom’s taxonomy for training students to apply in their practice teaching in a real classroom with the aim of developing cognitive affective and psychomotor domains of school children’s personalities.
Constructivist Approach
This approach is used for student teachers to apply in their practice teaching and further in their profession for creating engaging classrooms
Integration of IKS in the pedagogy
Students are trained to plan their lessons by integrating the elements of Indian Knowledge System (IKS) relevant to the content prescribed in the school textbooks
ICT enabled learning of the courses
Students are trained for latest computer based technologies in learning task based courses prescribed in the B.Ed. syllabus.

B.Ed. Admission Eligibility
Graduates and postgraduates with a minimum of 50% (45% for reserved categories).
55% for other than Maharashtra State Candidates.
State Common Entrance Test (CET General) + ELCT (English Language Content Test) conducted by the Government of Maharashtra

Step 3
After submitting the pre-admission form, the application will be reviewed by the department of CAP. Forms that are incomplete or incorrectly filled out will be rejected
The merit list will be displayed on the CAP website.
The college will put up the merit list on the college noticeboard and website luce.edu.in
Step 4
If your name is included in the merit list, the college will send you an SMS & email regarding the admission process, fee details and payment procedure. You must pay your fees and get the requisite documents physically verified within the specified timeframe to secure your admission. If you do not pay your fees by the declared deadline it will result in your seat being forfeited.
