I have done Engineering from Priyadarsini college of Engineering Nagpur in Electronics & Telecom so I chose to do MBA in the same field ie core Telecom. I got placed very late in the month of July infact I was among the last who got placed by college efforts but it was a off-campus placement. Bala Sir's three pillar of success i.e "discipline" "Dedication" &"Determination� and “Problems are Opportunity� thought helped me a lot to succeed. I was one of the few students from our class who were eligible from the first day, yes the first day when the placements started. Started from Raychem RPG, which was the first company came for the telecom batch, I sat for many companies Here I am going to share my Placement Experience. I lost all my hopes of getting placed, suddenly I got to know that the time when I had gone to home one company had requirement of students for the post of B2B sales. I contacted our placement in-charge kaval kaur Mam to send my CV for that company. The same day I got a call from that company. At that time I was not aware even about the company name, actually it is ranked 67th in fortune 500 company. At that time I was not prepared for the interview and all telecom knowledge which I had was also phased out . The Question they asked were related to telecom only but I some how answered all Questions. Starting from the most common Question: Tell me something about yourself. They asked following Questions1). How will you differentiate between active and passive device 2). Which is better technology CDMA or GSM and how? 3).what do you know about 3G I lagged in answering many questions but at the end of the interview interviewer asked me to come to Mumbai next day only for further processes. At night I had gone through all important topics of Telecom, the notes I prepared for earlier Interviews, Telecom News of past 2 months so that this time I will not lag anywhere and this one night study really helped me a lot at the time of my technical Interview. I also gone through the website of this company like about the company, history of the company, number of employees, name of CEO, what services it provides etc. As it was the month of July so it was raining heavily because of that I reached office very late almost 2-3 hours late. I informed at the reception and after half an hour my interview started. I faced 3 interviews two of them were technical and the last interview was HR interview which was just for a formality purpose.
