Uniform Note
Given our unique location, with its rapid and often unpredictable weather changes during all four seasons, students are permitted to wear full Summer or full Winter all year, however the uniforms cannot be mixed. Only in Term 3 are students permitted to wear a Soft Shell Jacket or Polar Fleece in replacement of their Blazer.
Families are encouraged to read the Uniform Policy, available on the School website. The policy outlines all uniform requirements, including expectations for hair, grooming and presentation.
Purchasing Uniforms
Uniforms should be purchased prior to the commencement of the school year to ensure students are prepared.
Used Uniforms
Used uniforms in good condition can be bought and sold on the SMGS Used Uniforms and Equipment Facebook Group.

During the School Term, the Uniform Shop is open:
Monday: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Tuesday: Closed
Wednesday: 8:30 am – 10:00 am
Thursday: 12:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Friday, Saturday & Sunday: Closed
No appointments are necessary.

Girls Summer Uniform
• Blazer
• Short-sleeved dress (hem at knee length or longer)
• Navy shorts or trousers (in exchange for dress)
• White short-sleeved blouse
• V-neck navy jumper
• White ankle socks (no low-cut sports socks)
Boys Summer Uniform
• Blazer
• Grey shorts or trousers
• V-neck navy jumper
• Junior tie
• Years K-4 blue short-sleeved shirt, tucked in
• Years 5-6 white short-sleeved shirt, tucked in
• Grey socks
Girls Winter Uniform
• Blazer
• Skirt (hem at knee length or longer)
• Grey stockings
• Navy trousers (in exchange for skirt and stockings)
• White long-sleeved blouse, tucked in
• The school skivvy may be worn in exchange for the long-sleeved blouse
• V-neck navy jumper
Boys Winter Uniform
• Blazer
• Grey trousers
• V-neck navy jumper
• Junior tie
• Years K-4 blue long-sleeved shirt, tucked in
• Years 5-6 white long-sleeved shirt, tucked in
• The school skivvy may be worn in exchange for the long-sleeved shirt
• Grey socks
Term 3 Additional Options
• The school polar fleece or the soft-shell jacket may be worn in exchange for the blazer in Term 3.
• The school beanie may be worn in Term 3.
Unisex Uniform
• Choice of gold and navy polo shirt or house coloured* polo shirt
• Navy sports shorts
• Navy track pants
• White ankle socks (no or minimal branding)
• Sports shoes (athletic shoes not skate-style shoes)
• Polar fleece or soft shell jacket
* New students will be allocated a House at the time of commencement.
* Term 3 students will not require a house shirt.
Uniform
• Students in the snowsports programs are expected to wear the school snowsports jacket and pants.
* Students in Kindergarten to Year 4 may wear their own personal (non-school branded) snowsports outerwear. Navy shorts
