This is a dining table set designed for people from cultures where food is consumed sitting on the floor. It's inspired from one of the fundamental yoga forms -the padmasan-which has been practiced in India since ages. By sitting in this posture , the lungs and the stomach are open and are in line while the legs are folded in. This aids maximum oxygen to reach the stomach and thus digestive juices to act more efficiently.
The design is a simple modular form inspired from the flower lotus. The prime focus in this design is the support given to the upper back muscles and the thigh muscles in order to make the user more comfortable.
