We think the DC ONE-X is the most comfortable, best value, premium ANR headset in aviation... but you don’t have to take our word for it.
“Head clamping force is invisible even after four and a half hours of wear.”
“Great Headset, Quiet and clear... better than the problematic Bose A30.”
“When it comes to comfort and clarity, DC is second to none.”
- Doug R., Batavia, OH -
“The materials and build quality, in my opinion, are better than Bose”
– A. Spade, Somers, CT
“Very light and very comfortable. I can wear this headset all day. Sound quality is great, very clear. Noise cancellation is great.”
- Phil, Mission Hills, CA
“The DC ONE-X is a winner! ... Have used Bose A20 for the past 12 years.” - Rick B.
“I tried the Lightspeeds and Bose’s and I just feel like these [DC ONE-X] are the most comfortable.”
- Alexis A.

HEY SUN ‘N FUN FANS!
Hey SUN ’n FUN fans—welcome to Lakeland, Florida, and the 52nd Annual SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo! As America prepares to celebrate its 250th birthday, we’re starting the party early as we celebrate the Red, White & Blue at 52. So, wear the colors, feel the pride, and help us celebrate America the only way we know how—SUN ’n FUN style.
LET'S GO!
The festivities kick off Tuesday at 5:30 PM on the Warbird Ramp with our Opening Night Concert, featuring a powerful 6:00 PM tribute honoring eight World War II veterans. This will be a truly unforgettable moment of honor and gratitude.
Our air show lineup is as strong as ever, led by the return of the USAF Thunderbirds, the awe inspiring F-22 Raptor, and more than 20 world class civilian aerobatic performers who generously share their talents with our guests. New this year, our Wednesday Composite Air Show delivers one epic experience from 5:00 to 9:30 PM—combining the best of our daytime, twilight and night air shows into one aerial extravaganza.
SUN ’n FUN is more than an air show. Explore over 560 exhibitors, sharpen your skills in hundreds of hands on workshops, and inspire the next generation through Junior ACEs and STEM activities—kids 12 and under attend free. Be sure to visit the Future ’n Flight Plaza at our main entrance, featuring industry innovations, the Career Fair, flight schools, colleges, family spaces, and—new this year— Chick-fil-A (except Sunday).
Your participation in SUN ’n FUN makes a lasting impact. Net proceeds from the Expo fuel year-round educational programming at the Aerospace Center for Excellence—what we proudly call “The other 51 weeks.” Our mission is simple and powerful: to Engage, Educate, and Accelerate the next generation of aerospace professionals.
We ENGAGE youth through the SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo, welcoming more than 3,000 students on field trips and over 18,000 additional youth with their families. Each year, more than 8,000 young people visit the Florida Air Museum, with another 3,000 participating in Kids Museum Day and Wings ’n Things. Engagement starts early through our popular StoryTime program, which introduces aviation to more than 100 preschoolers and their families each week.
We EDUCATE through hands on STEM programming, including our STEM Sprouts classes for Pre-K through fifth grade students and our year-round Field Trip program serving more than 4,000 middle school students annually. Our Summer Camps continue to grow, enrolling 240 students last year, with strong demand exceeding capacity. In addition, ACE developed middle school curriculum is now used in more than 150 schools across 26 states and five countries outside the USA, reaching over 13,000 students every day.
We ACCELERATE through flight training, scholarships, and career pathways. Programs like the Lakeland Aero Club and ACE After School initiatives support high school aviators, while partnerships with Polk County Public Schools and the Central Florida Aerospace Academy enable us to award 30 private pilot scholarships annually, helping certify more than 200 student pilots to date. We also provide $100,000 in post-secondary scholarships each year and support other community aviation programs.
SUN ’n FUN is only possible because of the incredible volunteers who give their time, talent, and heart to this event. From our Pioneers and Yearlybirds to our Earlybirds and the thousands who return to Lakeland each year, your passion is the soul of SUN ’n FUN. Thank you for making this week—and this mission—truly unforgettable.
On behalf of the SUN ’n FUN and Aerospace Center for Excellence Boards, our sponsors, staff, and more than 3,000 volunteers, we hope you feel the passion, purpose, and pride behind everything you experience here. We look forward to welcoming you back April 6–11, 2027, for the 53rd Annual SUN ’n FUN Aerospace Expo—when we welcome the Aviation World to Lakeland.
Gene Conrad, SUN ‘n FUN President & CEO

AIRCRAFT AREAS
VINTAGE
In aviation, “vintage” refers to aircraft built and flown in 1970 or earlier—classics, if you prefer. Most are civil and general aviation aircraft that have been carefully preserved or fully restored. You’ll recognize historic names like Beech, Waco, Cessna, Lockheed, Piper, and many more. Walk through time and stop by the Vintage Showcase while you’re there!
HOMEBUILT
These unique aircraft showcase their owners’ passion, craftsmanship, and perseverance. Many are built from kits or popular designs, while others are one-of-a-kind creations that began as workshop projects. Stop by the Homebuilt Hospitality Tent for activities, forums, and more—and scan the QR code for details.
WARBIRDS
Former military aircraft, restored to flying condition, offer a living history lesson honoring the heroes who flew them. While many are from WWII—from trainers and fighters to four-engine bombers—you’ll also see aircraft spanning from World War I through Vietnam, including helicopters, transports, and jets.
SEABIRDS
There’s something romantic about any airplane with pontoons on it. Who wouldn’t want the freedom of landing on a pristine lake or a tropical lagoon instead of an airport runway? Large or small, single or multi-engine, check out the gaggle of what we call “seabirds” on display in this special section of floatable SUN ‘n FUN participants. You’ll find them west of The Island!

CHOPPERTOWN
Head over to ChopperTown, where helicopters take center stage. From classic rotorcraft to modern utility and training helicopters, this area offers a close-up look at the machines that perform everything from rescue missions to everyday operations. Visit the exhibits, talk with pilots, and learn more about rotary-wing aviation. Get there easily on the new ChopperTown Express!
AEROBATIC
We’ve come a long way since the barnstorming 1920s, when pilots flew surplus WWI Jenny biplanes and performed aerial stunts over awestruck towns. Today, aerobatics thrill airshow crowds and fuel international competitions judged by expert panels. See aerobatic capable aircraft up close and learn about favorites like Pitts, Sukhoi, Extra, and Edge.
PARADISE CITY
Paradise City is the place to experience some of the most exciting forms of recreational aviation at SUN ’n FUN. Explore powered paragliders, drones, RC aircraft, and more while connecting with pilots and enthusiasts. Ultralights are back in a big way this year—don’t miss the Ultralight Invasion, bringing ultralight pilots and aircraft from across the country together in celebration of ultralight aviation. Be sure to stop by for forums and activities throughout the week, where pilots share knowledge and stories from the world of recreational aviation.
As the sun begins to set, Paradise City transforms into one of the most unique evening experiences at SUN ’n FUN. The Sunset Aerial Circus, held Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, fills the sky with STOL competitions, powered paragliders flying with lights and smoke, parachute demos, a drone show, and balloon glows—creating a colorful and unforgettable end to the evening.
