CONGRATULATIONS TO LOCAL 17’S SCHOLARSHIP WINNERS

We’re proud to create opportunities for hardworking students and help put them on the path to success. For every hour we work, Local 17 members contribute seven cents to the scholarship fund. This year, we awarded over $100,000 in scholarships to 26 students to continue their education. Thank you to the three generations of the Hayward Family (Bob, Scott, and Sean) for leading the scholarship committee, and congratulations to all our winners:

FEEDING FAMILIES IN NEED

We’re stepping up this summer to help those in need. Families across New England are having trouble putting food on the table due to the global pandemic. But Local 17 members have their backs – our members are hosting, staffing, and donating to food drives to help. Together, we’ve collected thousands of pounds of food for food pantries and families in need. We’re proud of all our members who’ve turned out to help. That’s the Union Way!
