Message From The Board President

As the first year serving as Board President, I am truly filled with excitement about the vision and clear direction we are headed in as one of the top school districts in San Diego County. Our Portrait of a Graduate Strategic Promise is the roadmap for how we will ensure every student becomes Future Ready and equipped with the critical 21st century skills to thrive in our ever-changing global economy. As I visit schools on our Board Tours, attend student events, or state and federal advocacy trips, I am constantly in awe of the resilience, creativity and determination of our students and remarkable staff. The San Marcos Unified School District truly is a place where each and every day we strive to do better, and achieve more, for our students.
