Message From The Board President
As the first year serving as Board President, I am truly filled with excitement about the vision and clear direction we are headed in as one of the top school districts in San Diego County. Our Portrait of a Graduate Strategic Promise is the roadmap for how we will ensure every student becomes Future Ready and equipped with the critical 21st century skills to thrive in our ever-changing global economy. As I visit schools on our Board Tours, attend student events, or state and federal advocacy trips, I am constantly in awe of the resilience, creativity and determination of our students and remarkable staff. The San Marcos Unified School District truly is a place where each and every day we strive to do better, and achieve more, for our students. My hope is that you also see this commitment vividly, as you look through the pages of this year’s 2022-23 Annual Report.
