Complete your housing application.
We’re glad you are part of the Saint Mary’s Cardinal community! The following instructions will help you complete the housing application.
1. Visit the Saint Mary’s housing application at: smumn.erezlife.com
2. Log into eRezLife using your Saint Mary’s username and password
3. Update your housing profile
Since it is your first time logging in, click on “My housing profile” and finish your profile by filling in the open fields. Fill in the open fields in this section
4. Select the housing application form Under “Housing overview, ” select “Apply now” for the Fall 2026 – Spring 2027 Residence Hall Application
5. Fill out the residence hall application
n Rank your preferred residence halls. First-year female students have the option of Brother William or Skemp residence halls. First-year male students have the option of Brother William, Bishops, or Saint Joseph’s residence halls.
Readmit and transfer students select housing based on academic level when entering Saint Mary’s. See options at smumn.edu/reslife

n Submit application
NOTE: Do not edit and re-save your application. Doing so will change your submission date/priority for assignment.
6. Find a roommate
After successfully confirming your application, you will see two new options on the left side of the screen.
n For students who know who they want to live with, you will use the “Roommate groups” tab. This allows you and your friend to be “grouped” together for housing. Please note that you can only be part of one group. You will need your roommate’s SMUMN email address to complete the request.
n You can use “My roommate profile.” This area allows you to turn on your profile so that you can connect with potential roommates. This is where you will begin your search if you are looking for a roommate.
