When one gives to the Mustang Booster Club, they are making a difference in the education and future lives of more than 360 student-athletes. Additionally, they are making a difference in the future success of the Athletics Department and its 17 men’s and women’s sports teams and all that it provides to our university and community. There are many benefits in becoming a Mustang Booster Club member, which include tickets, parking, hospitality, Mustang apparel and a variety of unique, upclose experiences with our athletics program. ENDOWMENTS Endowed funds provide stable, long-term financial support for the Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department. Unlike athletics operations revenue (such as ticket sales) or contributions for seating/parking priorities, gifts to endowed funds are invested to protect the investment so that over a long term the funs will fulfill the donors’ specified purposes. The amount made available to SMSU athletics continues to accrue, providing crucial scholarship support for future Mustang student-athletes. Endowed scholarships may be established with a minimum gift or pledge of at least $10,000 through a single gift or through installments pledged over a period of time mutually agreed upon by the donor and the SMSU Foundation Office.

CIVIC ENGAGEMENT AG BOWL

DROWN SMSU GOLF CLASSIC

(Presented by Ralco)

Beginning in 2007, Ag Bowl and the Ag Bowl Scholarship Invitational are events designed to celebrate, provide awareness to agriculture in the region and promote SMSU’s agricultural based academic programs.

For over 30 years, Mustang faithful have been supporting SMSU student-athletes through this annual golf tournament. The Drown SMSU Golf Classic, hosted at the Marshall Golf Club, is a 5-golfer scramble tournament.

GOLD RUSH RAFFLE The Mustang Gold Rush isn’t your typical raffle event. We take your traditional raffle and turn it on its head. Instead of pulling one lucky ticket, tickets are pulled until one lucky winner remains.

The ticket not only enters you into the drawing for the grand prize but also is your admission to a night full of fun, beverages and appetizers. A social hour kicks off the night with the reverse raffle beginning shortly after.
