Monday 2nd September: Meet the tour leader at 1430hrs for check in on your Air Malta direct flight to Casablanca departing at 1630hrs.

Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in, room allocation before your welcome dinner and overnight.

Tuesday 3rd September: Today, after breakfast and checkout, start your journey towards Rabat. Located on the Atlantic, the capital of Morocco is also one of the so-called Imperial Cities. Visit the oldest part of the city with its hundreds of traditional shops and cafes and then continue your way towards Chefchaouen: one of the prettiest towns in Morocco with its blue-washed mountain village that feels like its own world. Here the balance between ease and authenticity is just right. The old medina is a delight of Moroccan and Andalusian influence with red-tiled roofs, bright-blue buildings and narrow lanes converging on busy Plaza Uta El Hammam and its restored kasbah. Check in and room allocation and dinner will be served before overnight.

Wednesday 4th September: After breakfast, take your private coach towards Meknes, the ‘Moroccon Versailles’ but not before a visit to Volubulis. The city partly excavated by UNESCO was once a very important Roman and Berber city. Once in Meknes, you can visit the final resting place of the Sultan who made it his capital in the 17th century. The tomb hall is a lavish celebration of the best of Moroccan craftsmanship.

To the southeast of the mausoleum, the king’s immense granaries and stables, Heri es-Souani, were ingeniously designed. Later make your way towards Fez for your hotel check in, room allocation, dinner and overnight.

Thursday 5th September: After breakfast join your fellow group members for an excursion to Fez. An ancient breeding ground for scholars, artisans and Imams. Seemingly blind alleys lead to squares with exquisite fountains and streets bursting with aromatic food stands.

Friday 6th September: After breakfast and checkout, take your modern air-conditioned coach towards Marrakech. Today’s journey (in excess of 500km), takes you through the beautiful and spectacular Middle Atlas Mountains and through the charming town of Ifrane. Later continue your way south to Beni Mellal: an important economic centre in Morocco before reaching Marrakech. Check in at your 4* Superior hotel will be followed by room allocation, dinner and overnight.

Saturday 7th September: Today, after breakfast, join your fellow group members for an excursion to the city. Marrakech, is the fourth largest city in the country and located to the north of the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Marrakech is possibly the most important of Morocco’s four former imperial cities.

Various buildings constructed in red sandstone, have given the city the nickname of the “Red City” or “Ochre City”. Marrakech grew rapidly and established itself as a cultural, religious, and trading centre for the Maghreb and sub-Saharan Africa.

Sunday 8th September: Soon after breakfast leave towards the world famous Ouzoud Waterfalls. Admire one of Morocco’s natural wonders, and witness the stunning, 110m waterfalls as they plunge down rugged cliffs. You could almost forget you’re in the middle of the desert once you see these stunning waterfalls. Later head back towards Marrakech for some free time, before re-join the group for your farewell dinner and overnight.

Monday 9th September: After breakfast, and checkout head towards the airport but not before a trip to the largest city and the economic capital of Morocco: Casablanca. Your flight back to Malta departs Casablanca at 1955hrs
