Concept Statement
The Exploration center brings together the community, both young and old to engage the senses similar to the way one is engaged by the High falls.
The exploration center uses light and water to visually express the tone and value of music, as well as to bring a visual sense to the sounds that surround this exploration center, allowing multiple senses to be engaged. Reviving along with it the previously unused location of the exploration center, bringing life to this area so close to the falls.
The exploration center, accessible by a bridge, brings more to be explored. It includes a circular form to imitate the bubble walls, as well as reminiscent of the ripples emerging from the waterfall.
The exploration center is wheelchair accessible, with bathrooms on site, all of which are equipped with handicap stalls, and baby changing stations. With the pavilion addition as well, these structures bring more activities and spaces to explore at Rochester.

The High Falls exploration Center was a project that explored the Rochester area, specifically the falls that existed within downtown and sought to beautify the area and create a structure to bring in more tourism and encourage exploration of Rochester.

Concept Statement
An inspiration for this project was a neighborhood that incorporates all the different countries and cultures of immigrants in Vastra Hamnen, and building a place where they could feel comfort and safety.
This palimpsest (something reused or altered but still bearing visible traces of its earlier form) contains many different parts of both Swedish and Mongolian cultures, creating a design that can both reflect the flowery organic joy of Swedish patterns, with it’s warm colored bright highlights. As well as the beautiful symmetry and layers that is offered by the Mongolian patterns, deep rich colors bringing it to life.
All while building new bonds with each other and with the culture of Sweden and Vastra Hamnen. The proposed neightborhood would include a variety of commercial spaces to ensure a thriving neighborhood, along with homes for both long term and short term residents.

Concept Statement
A dhaba is a type of roadside restaurant that often serves local cuisine, primarily across Pakistan and India but has been spreading more and more. With Dhaka being the capital city, this name represents how the food will be more specific to the streets of Bangladesh.
The concept for this restaurant is based around the idea of comfort and nostalgia, to create a space that builds up the communities of South Asians that exist around Rochester, creating bonds through food as well as through the composition of words. Set in the neighborhood of the arts, on 1040 University Avenue Building 3, a Former Embody Fitness Center.
The perfect location to bring in a space that allows for the intermingle of community, literature, and culture. With a bar space that serves various teas as well as other occasion drinks, along with more comfortable seating spread around with access to books. The main dining will be more casual, with the menus serving a lot of homemade or street side food, creating better quick serve options for food that is already utilized in that sense.

Taking inspiration from suncatchers and co-working spaces, this office design shines on the unique color of each employee. Using flexible furniture and open spaces to communicate in various ways is possible for work.

The color and materials will bring a serene, pleasant atmosphere, utilizing the vast amount of sunlight. With an art installation on the mezzanine floor, there is a lot of light and color within the walkway between spaces, showcasing glass pieces and lighting that is able to bring in a feeling of awe and peace.

The logo takes inspiration from this idea, with a diamond shape and colors that represent the variety in a rainbow.
