October 7, 2025 ~ Chamber eBlast

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

What a fun and busy Saturday we just had in Smithville! From the Community-Wide Garage Sale to Keep Smithville Beautiful’s Sustainable Home & Garden Show, and the always lively 4th Annual Smithville Music Festival, our town was buzzing with energy, local pride, and plenty of great finds. These events are a wonderful reminder of what makes Smithville such a special place to live, work, and visit. And there's no slowing down as our October event calendar is filling up fast with exciting activities for all ages! Be sure to check it out and mark your calendars. As we officially turn the page to October, there’s so much more to look forward to:

• Don’t miss our next Chamber Mixer hosted by Frontier Bank a great way to connect with fellow members.

• Our upcoming October Luncheon will feature Tina Butler with an update on the Line 204 Studio and Production Complex, and Adena Lewis will share valuable insights on Bastrop County’s growing film industry and its impact on economic development.

And of course, we’re gearing up for the 7th Annual Smithville Wingfest on Saturday, October 18th! There’s still time to register your wing-cooking team, become a sponsor, and purchase your tasting wristbands. This family-friendly event is always a crowd favorite...and this year, Smithville Brewing Company is adding to the excitement by sponsoring a $100 cash prize for the team that wins the People’s Choice Award. They generously offered this extra incentive simply because they love the Chamber, love the community, and love wings! Plus, they’ll be keeping the fun going with a Wingfest After Party at the brewery later that day. We can’t wait to see you there!

As always, thank you for your continued support of the Chamber and our vibrant business community. We’re proud to work alongside such dedicated and passionate members.

Warm regards,
