February 3, 2026 ~ Chamber eBlast

Hello Smithville Chamber Members and Friends,

Well, we survived January’s cold weather - and now we’re gearing up for one of the biggest highlights of the year: the 2026 Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Banquet, happening this Friday, February 6th! The days are certainly flying by, so this is your friendly reminder to purchase your banquet tickets by the end of business today, Tuesday, February 3rd.

We still have a couple of sponsorship opportunities available, and we encourage you to join us for an evening of celebration, connection, and community pride. We’re also excited to share that we have some amazing Silent Auction items, and we welcome any last-minute donations. If you have an item to contribute, please let Debbie Denny know by Wednesday, February 4th. Contact Debbie at 512-844-3930 or email her at debbie@debbiedennymedia.com.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for our January Chamber Luncheon - the room was packed, and we appreciate the strong turnout and engagement. A special thank-you to Dana Platt, with CARTS, for sharing valuable insights with our members and guests.

Looking ahead, be sure to mark your calendars for our February Chamber Mixer on Thursday, February 19th, hosted by Mutt’s Last Stand. Mixers are always a great way to connect, build relationships, and welcome new faces to our Chamber community.

As always, we encourage you to add your events to the Chamber Event Calendar, and please don’t hesitate to contact the Chamber if you need assistance, resources, or support.

Thank you for being such an active and supportive part of the Smithville community. We truly appreciate you and look forward to celebrating together this week!

With gratitude,

Smithville

Small Business Tip of the Month: Build Relationships, Not

Just Sales

February is the perfect time to focus on connection. Take a moment this month to reach out to customers, clients, and partners with a simple check-in, thank-you, or personal note. Strong relationships build trust, encourage repeat business, and turn customers into loyal advocates long after a transaction is complete.

Small, genuine touches can make a big impact.

Coming in March: Coffee Chats & Chamber Chatter!

We’re excited to remind our members and community that Coffee Chats and the Chamber Chatter Podcast are launching this March! These new (and returning!) programs are designed to spark conversation, share stories, and highlight the people and businesses that make Smithville thrive.

We are currently accepting interest for sponsoring the Inaugural Chamber Chatter episode of 2026 - a great opportunity to showcase your business and support Chamber programming. If you’d like to be involved as a sponsor or guest, please contact the Chamber at 512-2372313 or Chamber@SmithvilleTx.org

Stay tuned for more details we can’t wait to connect with you!

The Chamber is excited to help promote our business members events! To have your events, sales, specials, and more included in our monthly Chamber Newsletter, simply email us at info@smithvilletx.org. Our newsletter is sent to all members and non-members, and the details may also be shared across our social media platforms.

Let's get the word out and support each other!

Also, be sure to add your events to the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce event calendar on our website. If you need assistance, contact us at 512-237-2313 or chamber@smithvilletx.org
