December 9, 2025 ~ Chamber eBlast

Hello Smithville Chamber Members and Friends, I’m so honored to introduce myself as your new Executive Director of the Smithville Area Chamber of Commerce. From the moment I stepped into this role, I’ve been welcomed with such kindness - and I can’t thank you enough. Your warmth and generosity have already made me feel at home. With many years of experience in leadership and community engagement, I’m truly excited for the opportunity to help lead the Chamber into its next chapter. I’m looking forward to getting to know each of you, learning more about your businesses, and working together to strengthen the vibrant, supportive spirit that makes Smithville so special. What drew me to Smithville was its unique small-town charm paired with a progressive, forward-thinking attitude - and most of all, the way this community consistently steps up to lend a hand to those in need. That kind of heart is rare, and I’m grateful to be part of it. Speaking of community spirit - what an incredible turnout for the 34th Annual Festival of Lights and Lighted Parade! From the bustling daytime shopping and family fun to the spectacular parade with 64 entries and standing-room-only crowds from 1st Street to the Library, it was truly a night to remember. I’m in awe of the energy, pride, and togetherness on display - it was Smithville at its finest.
