As spring settles in and the days grow longer, we’re enjoying some truly beautiful weather here in Smithville?just the kind that makes you grateful to live in such a welcoming and vibrant community.
This season brings wonderful opportunities to gather and celebrate. Don’t miss the 19th Annual Smithville Fly-In this Saturday, May 10th, from 10AM to 2PM at the Smithville Crawford Municipal Airport?a great day of aviation, fun, and family-friendly activities. And every Thursday evening in May, join us downtown for Music in the Park, a free, open-to-the-public concert series that showcases local talent. Consider dining local or getting it to-go and enjoying your meal al-fresco!
As we look to the future, the Chamber is excited to share news of a newly created position: Membership Engagement Manager. This role represents a fresh and thoughtful approach to the growing needs of our members and the work of the Chamber as a whole. Our aim is to build even stronger relationships with our members, encourage greater involvement, and create more opportunities for connection, service, and support within our community. We look forward to introducing this new team member in the months ahead.

Chamber members in good standing are invited to host our popular monthly Chamber Mixer, held on the 3rd Thursday of each month from 5 PM to 7 PM. This is a no-fee sponsorship opportunity that allows your business to shine as the exclusive featured location for the evening, with up to 85 guests enjoying your space.
As a host, you’ll provide appetizers, beverages, and two door prizes, creating a welcoming atmosphere for attendees to connect and network. Hosting a mixer is an incredible way to highlight your business, give guests an in-person experience, and stand out in the Smithville business community.
