As we turn the corner into summer, there’s a noticeable energy in the air. School days are winding down, front porches are seeing more sunsets, and our community is buzzing with excitement for what lies ahead. From graduations to community events, this season brings so many reasons to celebrate life in Smithville.
A special congratulations goes out to our Smithville High School graduates! This marks the beginning of a new journey, and we’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished. To the teachers, staff, and school personnel who have played such an important role along the way. Thank you for your dedication and care. You’ve helped shape the next generation of leaders and dreamers.
We’re excited about our Chamber Raffle, featuring two (2) Grand Prize Winners of two tickets to the Rangers vs. Astros game in Houston! In other exciting news, the Chamber is in the final stages of interviewing candidates for our new Membership Engagement Manager role. This position is all about strengthening relationships, increasing involvement, and creating even more opportunities for our members and community to thrive. We look forward to introducing our newest team member soon.
