How To Walk In The Light

God Is Light

This is the message which we have heard of Him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in Him is no darkness at all.

1 John 1:5-7

The light of God's glory is His ​character

The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth.

Exodus 34:6

He commanded the light to shine in our hearts the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6

Fix your eyes upon Jesus

Christ has led the way. He is the true Shepherd.

He that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

John 8:12

Thus the followers of Christ walk in the light that shines upon them.

They exemplify the goodness of God revealed in His Word and by His Spirit.

Therefore, when you follow the light, walking in the path of truth, you reflect the rays of glory.

Wherefore awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Ephesians 5:14.

Walk in the light of His Word

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Psalm 119:105

The entrance of Thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.

Psalm 119:130

Therefore, be prepared for the last great day, going forward with the light you accumulated.

It is your privilege to walk in the light of His Word and to grow up to the full stature of men and women in Christ Jesus.

To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

Isaiah 8:20

Some avoid the light, lest their deeds should be reproved.

Therefore, let us seek the Lord earnestly,

that He may teach us how to walk in the light of His counsel and understand His Word.

Furthermore, how to accept it and put it into practice.

Walk in the light while you have the light

One will not be condemned because she/he do not know the way, the truth and the life.

Nevertheless, the truth that has reached their understanding has not been cherished, but neglected, or refused to be led by, will condemn them.

Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you; for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.

John 12:35

Therefore, place youselves directly under the bright beams of the Sun of Righteousness.

Teach me thy way, O Lord; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

Psalm 86:11

Thus you obtain an experience under the guidance of the Holy ​Spirit.

Moreover, are found to be a person of a: sound principle clear perception reliable judgment.

Therefore, let your light shine forth to those who are in darkness.

In conclusion - to walk in the light means to walk: 1. In love and by faith in the truth of God's Word.

2. Uprightly in the way of His will, and guided by His Spirit 3. in the newness of life, perfecting holiness by your choices and through His grace.
