How Does God Create?

How does God create?

By the Word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of His mouth.

Psalm 33:6

He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast.

Psalm 33:9

His creative power is as incomprehensible to us as His existence.
Though there is a constant effort made by many to explain God’s work of creation as the result of natural causes,
Scriptures testify of His power and greatness:

The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament showeth his handiwork.

Psalm 19:1

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God; but those things which are revealed belong unto us and to our children forever. Deuteronomy 29:29

How does God sustain His creation?

God’s energy is still exerted in upholding the objects of His creation.
The operations of nature are conducted in harmony with His laws with which He can interfere.

Thou, even thou, art Lord alone; thou hast made heaven, the heaven of heavens, with all their host, the earth, and all things therein, . . . and thou preservest them all.

Nehemiah 9:6

Furthermore, every breath and pulsation of the heart is an evidence of the allpervading care of God in whom

we live, and move, and have our being.
Acts 17:28
These wait all upon thee...

That thou givest them they gather; thou openest thine hand, they are filled with good.

Psalm 104:27, 28

The Bible establishes God as The Creator

So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.

Genesis 1:27

For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited: I am the Lord; and there is none else.

Isaiah 45:18

And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 3:9

Thus the Bible answers the question —

How does God create?
God gave us in His Word sufficient evidence to base our faith.
May this be our prayer:
Psalm
Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
51:10
