How God describes His own character

The Bible says that:

Exodus 33:11

the Lord spake unto Moses face to face, as a man speaketh unto his friend.

Moses asked God:

I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

Exodus 33:13

Moses desired to understand the character of God, therefore he continued:

Exodus 33:18

I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

God said:

I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; Exodus 33:19

And the Lord passed by before him, and proclaimed, The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth; Exodus 34:6

When Philip asked Christ to show them the Father, He said: He that hath seen me hath seen the Father.

John 14:9

Believest thou not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

John 14:10

Thus Jesus proclaimed Himself as the perfect representation of the Father.

Moreover, He invited the love and confidence of the world to be centered in the Father.

The Light of God’s Glory

By implanting in their hearts the principles of the Word of God, the Holy Spirit develops in humans the attributes of God.

Thus the light of God's Word becomes a transforming power in the life of believers.

Therefore, the light (truth)of His glory - His character is to shine forth in His followers.

Thus they glorify God as Jesus did.

the face of Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:6.

The light of the knowledge of the glory of God is seen in

In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins; who is the image of the invisible God.

Colossians 1:14, 15.

And I have declared unto them Thy name (character).

John 17:25, 26.

O righteous Father, I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent Me.

Thus God has revealed himself to humanity.
