Group Guitar Classes

Sessions: Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall sessions

Days: Tuesdays

Time: 6:30 pm- 6:30 pm

Ages: 10+ years old

Place: Smithfield Rec. Center Team Room

- Level 1 classes will learn basic open chords, how to care for and tune your guitar, strum patterns, and combining your skills so you can play some fun songs.

- Level 2 classes will learn notes on the fingerboard, ensemble skills, new strum patterns, fingerpicking (Arpeggio), song requests are taken.

- Level 3 classes will continue to build on the skills from the first two classes, including, new chords, strum patterns, fingerpicking, singing and playing, rhythm, note reasing, and tablature reading. Learn to play your favorite songs!

- Students must be able to provide their own music stand and guitar.

Martial Arts is an effective system of self-defense that encourages students to realize their own potential, physically, mentally and spiritually. Students learn discipline, self-control, patience, persistence, and respect for themselves and others. Students are expected to continually strive to perfect themselves, both in the studio and in every other area of their life.
