About Me
I have nearly 20 years of experience serving organizations rooted in community empowerment. I have had the pleasure of serving nonprofit organizations in various capacities—as an intern, program leader, and member of the c-suite. These experiences give me a unique ability to understand nonprofit operations, the risks they encounter, and strategies for success. In my roles, I have expanded the development of national programs, spearheaded cross-functional internal and external teams, provided grant oversight, and led strategic initiatives. I have also partnered with HBCUs, boards of directors, and numerous corporate sponsors. I have demonstrated a commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging by leading initiatives that promote these values in education, employment, and other social determinants of well-being.
I hold an M.P.A. from Baruch College, an M.S.W. from Howard University, and a B.A. in Psychology from Hampton University. I was selected for the National Urban Fellows program and the Duke Corporate Education/National Urban League Emerging Leaders program.
In addition to my expertise, Smith Cornwall Strategic Partners has a network of professionals with expertise in nonprofit programs, operations, and organizational strategy.
