



With Spring now upon us, we can finally say goodbye to those wintery nights and chilly mornings. Spring this year comes with a certain amount of optimism after EOFY, with a strong economy that includes low inflation and low unemployment, plus recent interest rate cuts and the promise of more to come, even as soon as the end of the year.
Economists at all four major banks have lifted their outlooks and now predict 5%-6% price growth in 2025. Growth may actually reach as high as 9% with the government bringing forward the Home Guarantee Scheme to 1 of October, removing income limits and caps on places and increasing property price caps. Demand from firsthome buyers should see further support through Spring, with almost double the number of affordable homes to become available.
Locally, the Australian real estate market continues to boom in Brisbane and Coopers Plains. Growth has continued to be steady, now pushing the median sales price in Coopers Plains over the $1M mark for the first time, and currently sitting at $1,085,000.
