Editor’s note

This edition of āśaya Digest unveils fascinating insights into our recent projects. We take you on a journey through a unique coworking space in Boca Raton, designed as a cocoon space within a space, inspired by the harmony of nature’s elements coexisting seamlessly.

Moreover, we showcase an exceptional accent wall art/ceiling art design at a historic lobby in Chicago. The intricate design pays homage to the heritage of space, blending modern aesthetics with timeless elegance.

As part of our spotlight, we are thrilled to feature the remarkable ceramic artist business owned by the talented Rekha Goyal. Her emotive and scientific approach to ceramics, deeply rooted in her Indian heritage, transcends the physicality of clay, offering profound insights and inspiration.

Wallart

Our latest creation - a stunning feature wall art designed as a modular panel! Utilizing kaleidoscopic design principles, we offered our clients a range of unique pattern options. Wood species were carefully selected to complement the existing black and gray finishes, creating a striking contrast. This wall art is the focal point where guests can lounge, sit, and relax.

In the making

The installation day of the accent ceiling, as captured in the image, highlights a pattern mirroring the adjacent wall art, but on a larger scale. The team’s precision in installation and seamless coordination with field conditions truly shine in this project.

Shown at the Artist Centre, Kala Ghoda, Mumbai

Exhale has been made using a combination of throwing and hand-built techniques of working with clay. The artist’s emotion in this piece is one of letting go – exhalation. It is an emotion that can be experienced with sadness or with the joy of freedom. The pair and their togetherness adds an element of romance. Rekha Goyal
