SMIT BANGARE

Hello !

Myself Smit Bangare, recently graduated as an architect from SPA Vijayawada. As a budding architect, I tend to observe and explore surroundings , exploring the intricate details which helps me understand the fuctioning and its user operation and its functionality on architecture as a whole.

Being a tech nerd, I find myself sailing on the internet in search of recent an dupcoming trends in AEC industry.

I am fascinated by the BIM driven methodological approach of modelling and the available use of data created in the modelling process.

MOBIUS HOUSING

Location - Indore

Site Area - 20,000 sqm.

Typology - Residential

The housing complex was built in response to the increasing urban density at the heart of Indore city. The concept of residential complex was derived from “Mobius loop”, an infinite loop when seen from a certain direction. The green landscape overlays the terrace, where residents of all kinds can enjoy, along with the amenities provided in the premises.

MIXED-USE RESIDENTIAL APARTMENT

Location - Kolkata

Site Area - 10,000 sqm.

Typology - Mixed-use residential

The mixed-use residential commercial apartment in Kolkata was inspired ny “Tetris” formation, where the various permutations of building block unites was arranged on single floor. The commercial retail floors on lower part of building covers the facade, while the orientation of residential towers extend the view to diaginal squares for wind capture. Kolkata being hot and humid enabled the design to naturally sunshade the lower part of building.

DYNAMO EXPERIMENTATION

The aim of the exercise was the creation of floor plan of house entirely in Dynamo without modelling in Revit . The initial process was to sketch out the plan using nodes. But as the things got complicated, I started using Design Script (DS), which minimized the use of nodes, thereby maintaining the readability of the Dynamo script.
