I am from Great Britan and I have lived in Lviv for several years.
My working career in the UK covered many aspects within the shipbuilding industry, from manufacture to the integration of remote systems.
I have a Masters Degree in Marine Engineering and many other qualifications related to the marine industry.
3 years ago I accepted an early retirement offer from the shipbuilders and at that point in time I accidently started teaching English to Ukrainian Children at private schools . Surprisingly I quite enjoyed it, so I became a qualified teacher.
I
seeing children learn and develop and that's what motivates me.
I have now joined the team at Smiling Eyes where I have recieved a very warm welcome . The Montossori teaching ethos is somewhat new to me but I certainly see many positive aspects to it . The students are presented with daily tasks and then they prioritise their study in a calm and orderly way .
The whole School provides a great environment for students to further their education. In the few weeks I have been at the school the students have started to get to know me and my relationship with them gets stronger everyday
