The publishers of Sonoma Magazine are pleased to announce a new, intelligent, evidencebased health publication for our community, Sonoma Health. Published annually and packed with timely topics for a health-conscious readership, articles will address healthy choices, community resources, and medical breakthroughs that readers will find to be relevant, engaging and informative.
Sonoma Health will introduce new ideas and concepts, explain treatments, showcase technological and biological advancements, and help patients self-advocate by asking the right questions. Information will be segmented into three distinct categories — Self-Care, Community Health, and Medical Advances — to ensure a wide range of health-related topics.
Sonoma Health’s Medical Advisory Board, comprised of prominent physicians from the county’s major medical groups, will vet all editorial content for medical and scientific accuracy. In addition to articles written by independent journalists, many will also be written by local physicians. DISTRIBUTION Sonoma Health will be distributed on December 19th to all print and digital subscribers of The Press Democrat (45,000), Sonoma County’s Pulitzer prize-winning daily newspaper. In addition, 1,500 Sonoma County physicians will receive the publication by mail, and 500 healthcare provider contacts will receive an e-edition. TOTAL: 47,000, Est. Readership: 141,000.
