Since 1994, Scotland Memorial Foundation has annually played host to its premiere fundraising event, Putting on the Ritz - A Gala of Giving. From the moment of arrival on the Hospital campus, Ritz guests enjoy five-star service, including valet parking, coat-check services, and assistance by our wonderful volunteers during the evening in our elegant 14,800-square-foot ballroom. Once in the ballroom, guests partake of exquisite entrees and decadent desserts prepared by Master Chefs. As if that were not enough indulgence for one evening, guests can dance the night away with Five Star Entertain-
To add to the excitement of the evening, lively competition takes center stage as guests bid on unique items and fabulous packages in the Ritz silent and live auctions, directed by a professional auctioneer. Our online bidding system allows guests to bid right from their seats. Guests will receive alerts instantly if they have been outbid and can continue bidding until the final second
The true highlight of the evening is the opportunity to honor the individuals and businesses who support the Foundation’s Putting on the Ritz. Through their generous financial contributions, Scotland Memorial Foundation is able to use the net proceeds from the Ritz to fund numerous community-based health and wellness programs and services

Scotland Memorial Foundation touches hundreds of people every year by funding health and wellness programs and services that offer hope, encouragement, and a healthier way of life.
Your help makes us stronger. By partnering with us for the 32nd Annual Putting on the Ritz - A Gala of Giving, you are making a statement that says you care…about the health of your community, about the health of your neighbors, and about the health of your family and friends.
How you help?
All net proceeds from the Ritz are used to carry out the Foundation’s mission to support Scotland Health Care System and improve regional community health in the areas of greatest need. Some of the programs and services funded by the Ritz include (but are not limited to):
• Community Health and Wellness Initiatives
• Scholarships
• Support Groups
• Free Mammograms and Colonoscopies
• Cardiac Care for Patients
• Wound Healing Center Patient Support
• Nursery Patient Support
• Scotland Cancer Treatment Center Patient Support

Fund the Need
This portion of the evening is a paddle raise to support a specific patient need identified by Scotland Health. This competitive giving celebrates the “last hero” with a crown and a gift. It’s exciting to see all the participants engaged and competing to be the last person to donate.
Giving:
• If you’d like to be the lead gift during this portion of our evening, talk with Misty in the Foundation.
• Gifts will begin at the $10,000 or $5,000 level and end at the $100 level
• You can donate to the Fund the Need at any time online or by cash, card, or check.
