WHAT IS DRIVER INC. ?
Driver Inc. is a scheme where trucking companies misclassify drivers as 'independent contractors' by requiring them to incorporate.
These drivers are not owner-operators and are ILLEGALLY misclassified by companies to avoid paying their taxes and paying their employees what they are owed. Employer

Employees who are misclassified are often told they will earn more once they incorporate.
In reality, misclassified employees LOSE UP TO 30% of their earnings.
These drivers receive ZERO TAX BREAKS because they are classified as “personal service businesses” by the Canada Revenue Agency.
This ILLEGAL practice by trucking compagnies continues to spread. It is undercutting legitimate operators and threatening good paying jobs.
If You See It, Report It.
