THE SEED PRINCIPLE LAW OF INCREASE
Today in America and the rest of the world, many of the rich are getting richer. Still, Main Street and ordinary people are facing severe financial uncertainties. Small businesses are struggling to make ends meet; many have gone bankrupt. Because of people running those major organizations and certain politicians, hardworking people can’t find employment and others are losing their jobs. Millions of people are unemployed and have lost everything.
As you may know, Saint Matthew’s Churches Free Book Website regularly gives away Free Gospel Books relating to various subjects, helping readers build Bible faith and get answers to their needs through prayer and sowing faith seeds. There are three immediate needs we all have: spiritual needs, physical needs, and financial needs. This is what your Bible teaches you, “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” In the book of Philippians, the Biblical prophecy is “God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” 3 John 1:2 (KJV/NKJV); Philippians 4:19 (KJV)

We plow the fields, and scatter the good seed on the land, but it is fed and watered by God’s almighty hand; He sends the snow in winter, the warmth to swell the grain, the breezes and the sunshine, and soft refreshing rain.
All good gifts around us are sent from heaven above. Then, thank the Lord, O thank the Lord for all His love. He only is the Maker of all things near and far; He paints the wayside flower; He lights the evening star. The winds and waves obey Him and by Him the birds are fed; to His children, He gives our daily bread. We thank You, then, O Father, for all things bright and fair, the seed time and the harvest, our life, our health, and daily care; no gifts have we to offer, for all Your love imparts, but that which You desire, our humble, thankful hearts.

This book we are giving you today is about you, your needs, desires, dreams, and especially how you can be blessed FINANCIALLY. And it is about how you can receive your financial blessing by taking God as your partner in life through the Biblical Seed Harvest Plan. Our number one objective is to build your faith to the point where you can get all of your financial needs met, those needs God so plainly has promised you in His Divine Word that He would fulfill.
There is no Biblical promise of poverty for God’s children, only “life and that they might have it more abundantly.” And remember, “they all have the same Lord, who generously gives His riches to all who ask for them.” Take God as your partner in life and live according to the Scriptures. Speaking of you the Lord said, “Wealth and riches shall be in his house.” John10:10 (KJV); Romans 10:12 (TLB); Psalm 112:3 (KJV)
God’s promises go on and on; “riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and prosperity,” He also “hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.” God’s Word teaches us that “the Lord your God will bless all your harvest and all the work you do, and you will be completely happy.” Proverbs 8:18 (NRSVA); Psalm 35:27 (KJV); Exodus 23:16 (NCV); Deuteronomy 16:15 (NCV)

The world needs a financial blessing from heaven, and each can have it through prayer and God’s Seed Principle Law of sowing and reaping.
In the midst of financial problems, so many are going through a nationwide financial revival, which is happening in people’s hearts and lives across the nation through the Biblical Seed Harvest Plan. It is a God-given plan, and it works regardless of what is happening to the rest of the world. God has always been the answer to those who place their trust in Him.
Throughout this book, you will read actual testimonies of people just like you who wrote to Saint Matthew’s Churches asking us to pray with them for all kinds of financial needs and then wrote

back letting us know how God answered their prayer requests. You will notice these testimony letters from active Biblical Seed Harvest Members from all over the nation who took God as their financial partner in life through the Biblical Seed Harvest Plan. They worship God by giving a seed gift to God’s work out of each check or financial blessing they received for God to use to produce the financial harvest they need in their lives

The greatest danger for most of us is not that our aim in life is too high and we miss it, but that it is too low, and we reach it.
“Now he who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.”
2 Corinthians 9:10
This Biblical Principle of giving is as old as your Bible. In Bible days, after each blessing the believer received from God, His instructions to them were, “you must celebrate the… Harvest to honor the LORD your God. Bring Him a freewill offering in proportion to the blessings you have received from Him.” And to keep their blessings flowing, they practiced the seed giving of sowing and reaping. Their testimony to God was, “I give you all the finest… they give the LORD as the first fruits of their harvest.” “I have taken out of my house the part of my harvest that belongs to God, and I have given it.” Deuteronomy 16:10 (NLT); Numbers 18:12 (NIV); Deuteronomy 26:12-13 (NCV)

Like in Bible days, the financial blessings that these Seed Harvest Members received were the direct result of the seed gift they sowed into God’s work and an answer to the prayer request letter they wrote Saint Matthew’s Churches prayer team. Their blessings were such things as cash from an unexpected source, a new car, a new home, a raise in salary, a better job, and when unemployed, how they found a good job. The list of answers to prayer requests goes on and on—God always has and always will answer all kinds of prayers.
One thing you should always remember, regardless of the source of information, if someone tries to tell you that God is not interested in blessing you financially, “let God be true, but every man a liar.” While studying this book, you will find that God’s perfect will is for you to be happy, prosperous, and successful in all areas of your life. This book contains a multitude of Scriptures, which will help give you an overall knowledge about what God’s Word actually teaches. These scriptures will show you that God desires to bless you, not only spiritually but also financially. They will enable you

to separate truth from fiction, theory, human opinion, and the barrage of negative propaganda with which we have all been bombarded and to which we have all been exposed since we first began learning to walk and talk. Romans 3:4 (KJV)
The many quotations from the Bible found in this book will clearly show you how this Seed Harvest Plan will bring you the financial blessings you need. The blessings of freedom from lack and limitation; the blessings of a fuller, happier, and more wonderful life; a life of harmony; love, joy, peace of mind, and good health; they will all stem from the right use of God’s Seed Principle law. You will not have to wonder how you will handle the many things that come up regularly when your heart and mind are full of God’s Spirit and His Word. God’s Word is the only ingredient that produces Bible “faith,” the mountain-moving kind, the “faith” that comes from accepting His Word as truth. It is the most powerful, most direct, and most dependable force given to men by God.

SOWING THE BEST SEEDS
RECEIVING THE BEST HARVEST
As you read these pages, keep in mind that these Scriptures tell precisely what God wants for you. God’s own words to you are: “Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7 (NKJV)
Have you ever wondered why some people start with nothing to speak of in life but turn out to be multimillionaires? Others from the same family, neighborhood, or school work hard all of their lives yet have very little to show for it. Do you know why some people reach their goal and become doctors, lawyers, bankers, or successful business people, while others seemingly fail at everything they try to do?
Why do you think one brother winds up living in a beautiful home, furnished with the finest furniture, while another brother ends up living on Skid Row? However, they were raised in the same household, by the same parents, had the same backgrounds, and lived in the same environment?

Why are some people unhappy, full of doubt, fear, and unbelief, while others are always happy, full of faith, confidence, and enthusiasm about life?
Why do some people seem to have money flow to them, while others struggle to get enough money to pay their rent? In this book, you will find answers to these questions and other questions along this line. There is the right and wrong way to go about achieving the desires of your heart. With God’s help, I want to show you, based on His Word, that your answer is found in the proper use of God’s Seed Principle law. Through the Biblical Seed Harvest plan, your divine rights include heaven’s best here on earth and how you can go about receiving it, which I will explain and teach in great detail as you read the rest of this book.
First, let me ask you, are you teachable? Are you willing to accept the truth when shown to you? This is important because unless you “hunger and thirst” for more knowledge about how to receive God’s best, you will live the rest of your life without it.
As you read this gospel message, you will understand how, through the Biblical Seed Harvest Plan, to live in harmony with God’s Divine Seed
33

Principle law. You will then begin to grow, expand, and unfold spiritually, emotionally, and financially.
When you start taking steps of faith by sowing the good seeds of thoughts, words and actions, you will find that financial blessings come to you from your Heavenly Father. That is what God has promised you in His Word, when you take Him as your partner in life, through the Biblical Seed Harvest Plan.
Become an active Biblical Seed Harvest Plan member by regularly sowing faith seed gifts out of each financial blessing God gives you into God’s work. “Sow…and get a fruitful yield…his blessing they multiply greatly.” This is God’s promise to you, as you sow your seeds in faith. Psalm 107:37 (NRSVA)
As noted earlier, the answered prayer testimony letters sent to Saint Matthew’s Churches are from people like you who wrote the Church about their prayer needs. Did you know that the number one prayer request Saint Matthew’s Churches receives each day is for God’s help with finances? We are living in a very troubled world; very few people in America have enough money to meet their financial needs and allow them to do the
34
good things they desire to do. Financial problems cause many family problems. Many arguments between husbands and wives are directly or indirectly resulting from the lack of money to meet their needs.
Taking God as your partner and sowing the right seed by faith is the way to success and prosperity. If you want friends, you must sow the kind of seed that produces good friends. If you want someone to love you, you must sow the seeds of love by being willing to love that person from your heart. If you want money, you need to sow money seeds. This is what God’s Word tells us about giving seed offerings to His work: “But remember this—if you give little, you will get little. A farmer who plants just a few seeds will get only a small crop, but if he plants much, he will reap much. Everyone must make up his own mind as to how much he should give…God is able to make it up to you by giving you everything you need and more.” 2 Corinthians 9:6-8 (TLB)
By understanding the Seed Principle, you will have a fixed purpose in regards to concentrating and systematically focusing your time and energy toward establishing and achieving that special goal for your life.
35

YOUR HARVEST WILL BE LIKE THE SEEDS YOU CHOOSE TO SOW. YOUR HARVEST WILL BE LIKE THE SEEDS YOU CHOOSE TO SOW. 36
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust.
If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.
If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.
If you plant perseverance, you will reap victory.
If you plant hard work, you will reap success.
If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.
If you plant openness, you will reap intimacy.
If you plant patience, you will reap improvements.
If you plant faith, you will reap miracles. But...
If you plant dishonesty, you will reap distrust.
If you plant selfishness, you will reap loneliness.
If you plant pride, you will reap destruction.
If you plant envy, you will reap trouble.
If you plant laziness, you will reap stagnation.
If you plant bitterness, you will reap isolation.
If you plant greed, you will reap loss.
If you plant gossip, you will reap enemies.
If you plant worries, you will reap wrinkles.
If you plant sin, you will reap guilt.
So be careful what you plant now, It will determine what you will reap tomorrow.
37
Now, in order to help you reach that goal, it is so important for you to read and reread this book about how God’s Seed Principle law of sowing and reaping works. As you do this, all of the truths, attributes, and principles taught in it from God’s Word can become a part of you.
Be as David, who said, “Your word have I hid in my heart.” “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” When you hide the truth, principles, and attributes of the Word of God within your heart, inner strength can be yours. You will benefit from them day and night, as you sincerely read and study the teachings of God’s Word. They will automatically become part of you, your heart, mind, spirit, and soul; they will be components of what you think, say, and do. They will be reflected in your every thought, word, and action. You will unconsciously view every circumstance, condition, and event, every action, emotion, and experience in the light of the Seed Principle of God’s Word, which is hidden within your heart and mind.
Psalm 119:11 (NKJV); Psalm 119:105 (NKJV)

active Biblical Seed Harvest member, you can “grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” and become “strong in the Lord and in the power of His might;” you can receive the power God has promised us, “But remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth.” 2 Peter 3:18 (KJV); Ephesians 6:10 (KJV); Deuteronomy 8:18 (NRSV)
I believe in humanity, and I believe that people are interested in improving their lives, spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and financially. Why do you think so many people spend sixteen or seventeen years of their lives getting an education before starting careers? The answer is because most of us desire “good” in life. Most men and women are continually trying to better themselves; this is the way it should be, and this is good as long as it is not done negatively.
By helping individuals understand what God’s will for them is, we want them to see that there are proper choices that will offer a better opportunity to improve their lives. As you begin to use the Seed Principle in your daily life, you will find yourself moving in a new and more satisfying direction. When you start to understand thoroughly how the
40
Seed Principle works, in the future you will be able to circumvent the problems, circumstances, and decisions that have formerly brought failure, loss, and unhappiness in your world.
I have used many Scripture references in this book. The main reason I have done so is that I want to expose your heart and mind to so much “truth” that living “free” (with all of the money you will ever need) in the center of God’s will by “faith,” becomes as natural and easy as breathing and sleeping.
If you are a Christian, you may already be familiar with many of the quoted Scriptures. However, this book has been written, not just for Christians but also for those who may be unaware of any of God’s powerful, beautiful promises found in His Divine Word.
All of God’s blessings come “by Grace through faith...” This Bible faith is the gift of God to men and women. This faith is given to us when we accept God’s Word as truth concerning all things God says and promises. It will help us fulfill God’s perfect plan for our lives here on earth. Also, it will help carry us into life everlasting in the next dimension.

Before Jesus came to the world He said, “The earth is the LORD’S, and everything in it,” yet while here, He never claimed one square inch of it for Himself. If the government had taken a census, Jesus would have been classified as homeless, for He said, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head.”

He had no means of transportation besides walking; occasionally, someone would give Him a ride on a boat, and once He rode a donkey into Jerusalem. Before Jesus was born in Bethlehem He stated, “All the silver and gold … belong to the Lord,” yet at tax time Christ had no money to pay His taxes. “When they arrived at Capernaum, the tax men came to Peter and asked, ‘Does your teacher pay taxes?’ Peter said, ‘Of course…’ Jesus said ‘…go down to the lake, cast a hook,

When Jesus was crucified they laid Him in a borrowed tomb, and the only thing of value He left behind in this old world was His blood. The only things Jesus took to heaven from this world were the nail prints in His hands and feet and the hole in His side from the Roman soldiers’ spears.
Why did Jesus choose to live in such poverty when He had the power to live any way He desired? Why did He choose to let the Roman soldiers lay those 40 stripes on His back and give His life on the cross?
It was all for our every need; spiritually, physically and financially. Had He chosen to do so, Jesus said, “Don’t you realize that I could ask my Father for thousands of angels to protect us, and He would send them instantly?” No man took Jesus’ life. He came here for you and me, and He laid down His life for our every need. For every blessing we receive from heaven, there is a price to pay, and Jesus has paid that price in full. Matthew 26:53 (TLB)

God. Your Bible has a multitude of faith-building scriptures that tell of God’s promise to bless you financially, but they will be of no benefit to you unless you choose to believe and act upon them.
Here are three scriptures from the Bible, which are enough to let me know that God wants to give us the gifts of riches, success, and prosperity in our daily lives. If you want riches and you desire to prosper, by faith take the following three scriptures to heart – the choice is yours:
“But my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

“For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV)
Before we look further at what the Bible says about God blessing us financially, you need to determine whether or not you are ready to receive God’s blessing. If you are not saved, you need to know what He promises you spiritually, since what good is all the riches on earth if you miss heaven?
Jesus took our sins upon Himself that we may be saved. God “used Christ’s blood and our faith as the means of saving us from His wrath,” saving “Those who live in houses of clay, whose foundation is in the dust.” Therefore, our only real, everlasting hope is salvation through “Christ’s blood.” Romans 3:25 (TLB); Job 4:19 (NRSV)
This promise is for you and me; and if you truly want God’s financial blessings here on earth, He has promised them to you many times throughout the Bible, but “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33 (NKJV)
My friend, please do not think that God will

bless you physically and financially so that you can do a better job serving the devil. God wants to bless you because He loves you, and He wants you to have a part in helping the Church win so many souls to Christ each month and each year.
Forgiveness of sin must always come “first” before we pray and ask God for financial blessings, because “If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened” when praying for financial blessings from heaven. Psalm 66:18 (NLT)
The Bible is extremely clear when it speaks to us about spiritual things. It is just as clear about how we can receive “the power to get wealth”; earthly wealth, tangible things, such as “in cattle, in silver, and in gold.” All of God’s blessings, including financial blessings, come to us by Christ Jesus, the same One who knew no poverty in heaven—“He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might be rich.”
Deuteronomy 8:18 (NKJV); Genesis 13:2 (KJV); 2 Corinthians 8:9 (NKJV)
Some may say they have always been told that in 2 Corinthians 8:9 God was speaking of spiritual things, not about earthly wealth. Anyone who thinks and believes that has completely missed the meaning of this promise.

“The street of the city is pure gold. ”
Think about this for yourself; there has never been a time when Jesus has been spiritually “ poor ” or experienced spiritual “poverty.” In this scripture, like all scriptures, God said exactly what He meant and meant exactly what He said. Being full of love and kindness, our Lord Jesus “was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might be rich.” Some may say they do not believe God is concerned with blessing us with prosperity. Well, if that is what you believe, you cannot pray the Lord’s Prayer because, in that prayer, Jesus said that we should ask our Heavenly Father, “Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread.” Matthew 6:10-11 (KJV)
Therefore, when you pray the Lord’s Prayer, you are definitely asking God for financial blessings. The Bible says, “By faith he… was waiting for the city with permanent foundations, whose architect and builder is God.” Surely no one believes that the heavenly city “whose architect and builder is God” has poverty-stricken sections like the cities built in this world. I assure you that there are no shiny towers made of rusty tin and cardboard in heaven. No one will live across the railroad tracks in houses not fit for humans to live in.

By reading God’s Holy Book we know that heaven is full of all kinds of wealth and riches beyond imagination. Jesus gave us a glimpse of how rich He was before He became poor so that you might be rich. This scripture will help you understand just how rich Jesus was: “I John, saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven;” “It was filled with the glory of God and flashed and glowed like a precious gem, crystal clear like jasper;” “The city itself was pure, transparent gold like glass. The wall was made of jasper, first layer with jasper; the second with sapphire; the third with chalcedony; the fourth with emerald; the fifth with sardonyx; the sixth layer with sarduse; the seventh with chrysolite; the eighth with beryl; the ninth with topaz; the tenth with chrysoprase; the eleventh with jacinth; the twelfth with amethyst! And the main street was pure, transparent gold, like glass.”
Revelation 21:1-27 (TLB)
Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled: you believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.”

There is not a mansion that has ever been built on this earth that could compare with anything in heaven. In front of the costly mansions on earth are roads of concrete, but you will not find such in heaven. The place in heaven where now lives the beggar Lazarus Jesus spoke of, in front of his mansion, “the gate was of one pearl; and the streets of the city are pure gold as if it were transparent glass.” Hebrews 11:9–10 (ISVNT); John 14:1,2 (KJV); Rev. 21:21 (KJV)
As you prepare for when you pray, “Give us this day our daily bread,” again you are praying for a financial blessing. Your “daily bread,” as you know, costs money. I believe we all can agree that it is all right for us to pray the Lord’s Prayer because “the Lord has found great pleasure in helping you to prosper.” Notice God said He “found great pleasure in helping you to prosper”—God wants to HELP you prosper. Remember, unless you sow it, God will not grow it, because the scriptures say, “Whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap.” Matthew 6:10 (KJV), Matthew 6:11 (KJV), Deuteronomy28:63 (NLT), Galatians 6:7 (KJV)
My friend, do not put limits on the financial blessing you need from God. Let your prayer include: “Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” The Bible tells us that Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Solomon, Job, and other

children of God were extremely wealthy, with many cattle and much silver and gold. Where do you think Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Solomon, Job, and all the others in the Bible got their wealth? Their treasure came from somewhere or someone. Abraham “sowed seed, and in the same year reaped a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him, and the man became rich; he prospered more and more until he became very wealthy.” Remember, “in order that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles,” “Those who believe are the

descendants of Abraham. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, declared the gospel beforehand to Abraham, saying, ‘All the Gentiles shall be blessed in you.’ For this reason, those who believe are blessed with Abraham who believed.” Matthew 6:10 (KJV); Genesis 26:12-13 (NRSVA); Galatians 3:14 (NRSV); Galatians 3:7-9 (NRSV)
It is extremely clear throughout the Bible that we find God talking about earthly riches. To deny this truth is to deny the Word of God because God’s Holy record clearly states, “Now Abraham was very rich in livestock, in silver, and in gold.” It does not matter what Church denomination you belong to, or if you do not belong to any of them, “all have the same Lord,” Jesus Christ, who loves you and desires to bless you with financial blessings. According to Scripture, it is all right to pray and ask for them, “They all have the same Lord, who generously gives His riches to all who ask for them.” Genesis 13:2 (NRSVA); Romans 10:13 (NLT)
The blessings of Abraham were spiritual, physical, and financial, and “Through the work of Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing He promised to Abraham.” However, my friend, if you want God’s best here on earth, you need to be partners with God, as Abraham was.
60
The Bible tells us that Abraham was “The friend of God.” What a wonderful testimony that is, to be known as the “Friend of God.” “And so, it happened just as the Scriptures say, that Abraham trusted God, and the Lord declared him good in God’s sight, and he was even called ‘the friend of God.’” God wants to be your friend at all times, under all circumstances and conditions, and during all of the events in your life. Galatians 3:14 (NLT); James 2:23 (TLB)
“Through the work of Christ Jesus, God has blessed the Gentiles with the same blessing He promised to Abraham.” Galatians 3:14 (NLT)
Just like Christ’s death on the cross is the foundation for the salvation of our soul, and the stripes on the Lord’s back are the foundations for our physical healing, Christ’s “poverty” when He was here in this world is the foundation for all of our financial blessings day after day here on earth.
My dear friend, make up your mind that from this minute forward you are going to take God as your partner in life and enjoy all of heaven’s wonderful blessings—spiritually, physically, and financially, which Christ Jesus has provided for you. Remember the Word of the Lord to you today is,

“And the gospel must first be published among all nations.” St. Mark 13:10
“Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.” 3 John 2 (NKJV/KJV)
All of heaven’s blessings come to you by sowing biblical seed by faith, and “faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Since Adam left Eden, all of humanity has had three basic needs for all the days of their lives: spiritual, physical, and financial. These three needs are part of your world today, and they will be there for the rest of your life in this world. This is why you should become involved with God and His work here on earth and take Him as your partner in life. Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
Notice, the answer to all three of these basic needs is promised to you in this one verse in your Bible: “Beloved, I wish above all things,” not some, but “all things.” What is it God is talking about when He says, “all things?” I don’t know what others might believe “all things” includes, but for me, I believe God truly meant “all things,” that above all things you may “prosper,” that you may be in good “health, even as your soul prospers.”
This is such a wonderful, beautiful, and extremely clear promise that even small children

completely understand it. God did not only say He wished that you would “prosper.” He said, “above all things” He wished you would “prosper.”
Please don’t believe anyone who tells you that God doesn’t love you enough to bless you financially, “for my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory, by Christ Jesus.” God’s promise is not just to meet your spiritual needs, but “all your needs,” which include salvation for your soul, healing for your body, and all your other daily needs. Philippians 4:19 (KJV)
Christ’s life here on earth, and all the suffering He went through from the beginning to the end, was to meet every need of humanity. Indeed, you who have read God’s Holy Book know that Christ himself bore our sins and grief, and He carried our sorrows and pains. All the things we need and are wrong with us, Jesus paid for them with His life and His death on the cross for our sins. My friend, He endured unspeakable suffering for all our needs.
When covering all our needs, the Word of God says, “surely, He has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows,” “our transgressions,” “iniquities,” and “with His stripes we were healed.” “The just for the unjust,” “who His own self bore our sins in

Put God first, ahead of everything and everyone else, in divine Bible faith—“Do not hold back your offering from the first of your harvest. “Remember this—a farmer who plants only a few seeds will get a small crop. But the one who plants generously will get a generous crop. You must each make up your own mind as to how much you should give…For God loves the person who gives cheerfully. And God will generously provide all you need. Then you will always have everything you need and plenty left over to share with others.” The Scriptures also say, “Godly people give generously… Their good deeds will never be forgotten.” “In the same way, He will give you many opportunities to do good, and He will produce a great harvest…Yes, you will be enriched so that you can give even more generously…You will be glorifying God through your generous gifts.” “If they listen and obey God, then they will be blessed with prosperity throughout their lives. Dear [Saint Matthew’s Churches]...,❝I am so thrilled today, as I rejoice over the blessings of God...I was in Grand Canyon, Arizona, and I was looking at some magazines and there I found your magazine of prayer and blessings. I read of how God was answering prayer through your ministry. At that time I had been suffering from arthritis. I had this for about five years. I wrote you and asked you to pray for me. And, I want you to know that through your prayers and your Prayer Team, God healed me of this condition.
I then began reading testimonies of how God was blessing others with new homes, cars businesses and many wonderful things through your prayers. I wrote to you and asked for you and your Prayer Team to pray for me and my husband to be blessed. And, soon after, we were blessed with a restaurant. This was just the beginning. After opening our first restaurant we then were blessed with a Dairy Creme, which is all paid for, and praising God for this. Then, we were blessed with a home, which is also paid for. I am a believer in prayer. It seems as though the blessings of God just keep continuing to come our way. Again, we were blessed with another restaurant and motel to go along together.
After that blessing, we were blessed again with another hotel. What’s so amazing is I know and believe that through our giving to God and prayer, it has brought us to this...for our next blessing was a gas station and seven vehicles which consists of: 1 tow truck, 1 club van, a 1/2 ton flatbed truck, a four wheel drive vehicle and three cars. All these blessings happened because we believe in prayer and God hears and answers prayer. [Prayer Ministry], I thank God everyday for you and your Prayer Team and the prayers you’ve prayed for me and my family. I’m also one of your [Seed Harvest] Blessing Partners.❞ Mr. and Mrs. B. J.

Faith Instructions – Acts of Faith, Points of Faith Contact, Handles of Faith
To help you better understand biblical teachings about the Seed Principle, let us look at a few examples commonly used by many, if not all, of the large Christian denominations worldwide. These examples include tangible (literal or earthly) items used as points of faith contacts, faith instructions, and Seed Principle faith acts. Any tangible object, substance, or thing can become sacred and holy when God’s people use it as a symbolic part of worshiping God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
TANGIBLE
ITEMS: Holy Communion, also referred to as The Lord’s Supper, The Eucharistic Service: There are more than 20,000 Christian denominations globally. Holy Communion is a regular part of the worship service for almost all of them. The bread and wine, which are tangible items, are used as spiritual symbols. The bread and wine, seen in spiritual terms, are transformed into the body and blood of Jesus Christ, our precious Lord and Savior.
73

WATER (Baptism): The water is a tangible item used by almost all of the world’s Christian denominations. When used in Christian baptism services, the water takes on sacredness. It becomes a symbol for the Holy Spirit through which believers participate symbolically in the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.
WATER (Washing of Feet): Water is used for baptism and another Christian ritual known as foot washing. This ritual, a reenactment of the Lord Jesus Christ washing His disciples’ feet (The Gospel According to John 13:1-5 is practiced by many Christian Churches, including the Roman Catholic Church. Priests, bishops, Cardinals, and even the Pope participate in this sacred commemorative event.) When water is used in the foot-washing service, following the instructions given in God’s divine Word, it becomes holy , like the ground upon which Moses stood became holy when God appeared to him in the form of the burning bush. “Put off your shoes from off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” Exodus 3:5 (KJV/NKJV)
74
ALTARS: The altars used in most Christian Churches are made of tangible materials such as wood or stone. When these materials are consecrated and placed in the sanctuary, they become holy and sacred.
OIL: When used to anoint Christian believers, this tangible substance becomes sacred. By using oil to anoint, Christians are following and obeying the written instructions for praying and anointing with oil that are found in the Holy Scriptures. For example, James writes, “Are any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the Church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.” (The General Epistle of James 5:14) These represent only a fraction of the many examples of tangible items that people of God use as Seed Principle items, in obedience to faith instructions written in the Holy Bible. Numerous examples are recorded in the Bible, Genesis through The Book of the Revelation, and are used now as part of worshipping God . Throughout the Bible, there are tremendous numbers of examples in which believers used a tangible item as a point of faith contact (an item which helps one focus his or her faith), before receiving an answer to prayer. Bear in mind that in almost every instance where a

During a time of great drought and famine God sent the Prophet Elijah to the widow of Zarephath. She told Elijah that all she and her son had to eat was a “…. handful of meal in a barrel, and a little oil in a cruse… for me and my son, that we may eat it, and die.” Her needs were met after she used the point of faith items (oil and meal) in obedience to the faith instructions from Elijah. “And she went and did according to the saying of Elijah: and she, and he, and her house, did eat many days. And the barrel of meal wasted not, neither did the cruse of oil fail, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake by Elijah.” I Kings 17:8-16
76
believer in the Bible used a tangible point of faith item, he or she did it in obedience to instructions or acts of faith given by a servant of God. As you read these accounts you will find that, as the believer follows these instructions, he or she is working with God, doing his or her part, to bring about the fulfillment of his or her heart’s desires, and seeing prayer answered in divine order.
FAITH INSTRUCTIONS:
One example of a faith instruction is found in the Billy Graham Crusades. All of us have seen Reverend Graham’s crusades on television. Remember, if you will, that after Dr. Graham finished his sermon, he always made an altar call (invited men and women to accept Jesus Christ as personal Savior). The instructions he gave usually followed this simple pattern. He told those who wanted to be saved to 1) Stand to their feet, and 2) Come forward toward the platform where he would pray with them for salvation. When you had seen Billy Graham give these two simple steps in person or on television, you had witnessed a man of God giving faith instructions. Thousands of people who have in their hearts a prayer that they believe God will answer, follow the instructions

If you have attended Church, you have more than likely witnessed the same thing on a smaller scale. In tens of thousands of Churches worldwide, faith instructions such as these are given every week.
Saint Matthew’s ministers follow the same procedures when writing sermon prayer Emails to our members. The Holy Spirit often moves our ministers to include, with the Email to our members, a faith instruction to place your hand on your Bible (which is tangible) and believe as you pray, which is a point of faith contact. When we do this, we do it to help the sermon prayer Email recipients release their faith to God as the Church prays with them for their prayer to be answered and their needs to be met. The members can choose to use these faith contact items according to Seed Principle faith instructions. Sometimes, when you receive a sermon prayer Email from Saint Matthew’s Churches, you may find a tangible faith item that you may not have seen used before. Another example to help you better understand how the Holy Spirit works through God’s servants is found in the book of Acts 19:11-12.
“And God wrought Special miracles by the hands of Paul: So that from his body were brought unto

the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them.” There is not a single recorded account in the entire Bible of handkerchiefs and aprons being used by anyone before Paul. The point is this: When the Holy Spirit moves upon a minister of the Gospel to do a certain thing, it is not essential for that thing to have been done by someone else at some earlier point in time. The results may be that God will work “special miracles” in the lives of those who follow the Seed Principle faith instructions given by the servant of God through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. Let us look further at what the Bible says about using items as points of faith contacts, and Seed Principle faith acts, according to the instructions given by a minister of the gospel, as the Holy Spirit inspires them. In the following examples, notice how the people involved followed faith instruction, used points of faith contacts, and performed acts of faith to get an answer to prayer, or how those points, contacts, and faith actions were part of a miracle blessing sent from God as a response to the desires of His people. We have neither the time nor space to write the full details of each example. Thus, we

will briefly describe some biblical accounts and where they can be found in the Bible. You may wish to read the full text on your own.
THE MIRACLE OF JERICHO:
Before God’s people received the Miracle of Jericho, the Spirit of God led Joshua and the people to do several things first: 1. Five Points of Faith Contact items; 2. Fifteen Seed Principle Faith instructions; 3. Fifteen Acts of Seed Principle Faith. The Points of Faith Contact (tangible items or natural earthly things) were: 1. Joshua’s shoes; 2. The ark; 3. Seven trumpets; 4. The swords; 5. Fire. God’s people used these things as Points of Faith Contact Faith Items and did as Acts of Seed Principle Faith, following Faith Instructions. These became part of their worshipping God and part of getting the prayer in their heart answered. Joshua 5:15 (KJV); Joshua 6:4 (KJV); Joshua 6:4 (KJV); Joshua 6:21 (KJV); Joshua 6:24 (KJV)
Notice the points of faith contact, which as noted, were tangible items, everyday natural things, and the spiritual things that God’s people under Joshua’s leadership used in their prayers and worship of God. When the people followed God’s directions , these natural

The man born blind is healed (St. John 9: 1-41). The blind man received his miracle after he followed the faith instructions and took the steps of faith that Jesus gave him. The tangible point of faith contact item was clay, spittle and water. things were transformed into spiritual faith items, faith handles, faith keys, and point of faith contacts. As such, they helped build up the people’s faith so they could receive the blessing or miracles they were praying that God would grant them.
Now with this in mind, let us go deeper into the Bible and look at other examples. These examples can help you understand why the ministers of Saint Matthew’s Churches use Points of Faith Contact Items, and Seed Principle Faith instructions.
Steps of Faith and Acts of Faith. These items, instructions, steps, and acts help men and women get their prayers answered and help them focus on worshipping God and His Son Jesus Christ.
The following passages from the Holy Scriptures tell us that some tangible faith contact item was used, or some act of seed principle faith was undertaken. In all cases the items were used, and the actions were conducted in obedience to faith instructions

.
Thus, the items and/or acts became connected with the believer’s faith. The believer’s faith is always the essential element in getting prayer answered and receiving the special blessings or miracles that we need.
THE MIRACLES AND BLESSINGS OF JESUS:
The following Scriptures show that when Jesus Christ ministered to the people’s needs, He often used tangible items as a point of faith contact and gave faith instructions. He did so to help those in need of miracles or blessings receive answers to their prayers.
More than once, Christ thought it necessary for those in need to perform acts of Seed Principle faith. When Jesus used these things, the kind of faith that creates miracles was sparked in the believers’ hearts, and God wrought special miracles because of that faith. Jesus performed His miracle in response to the request of Mary, His mother, at a wedding in Cana.

In The Gospel According to St. John 2:1-11 we find that the first miracle Jesus did was turning water into wine . This happened after the servants took acts of faith following the faith instructions “Whatever He says to you, do it.” The tangible point of faith contact items were water and six water pots.

THE MIRACLE OF JESUS IN CANA:
The Gospel According to John 2:1-11 Points of faith contact:
1. Water and Six water pots Faith Instructions and Acts of Seed
Principle faith:
1. Drew water
2. Filled water pots with water
3. Carried water (wine) to the governor of the feast
4. Tasted the water that was made into wine
As noted, we will not go into detail in naming each Tangible Point of Faith Contact item, Faith Instruction, and Acts of Faith that were part of getting blessing or miracles each individual needed in answered prayer. Sometime after you have read this book, look up these passages of scripture in your Bible and read them carefully. You will be amazed at how many times these three spiritual steps: 1) tangible points of faith contact, 2) faith instructions, and 3) acts of Seed Principle faith by the believer are mentioned. They were a part of God’s way of getting the believer to release his or her faith to God so that they could receive the miracle blessings of answered prayers.

NEVADA - ❝ Dear Saint Matthew’s Churches…I am writing you this letter to…tell you that I pray for your church and also for your ministry… I just want to thank you so much for all your mail, books, and spiritual tools, your prayers, and most of all not giving up on me. All these things have really meant so much to me… You don’t know how much you have done for me: [you’ve] opened my mind to sowing and reaping, receiving the harvest, and [being aware that] God wants us to be blessed here on earth as in heaven. I have read your books…they have really been a blessing in my everyday life. Now my daughter and grandson are reading the books… God has softened my daughter’s heart and grandson. She went to church and got saved. I have seen many things in my own life that God has changed; all for good. [He] broke chains of bondage, took me out of the pit of sin, and saved my children…I believe God will give back all the devil has robbed me of, and will open new doors that no man can shut and shut doors that no man can open… All in Jesus’ name.❞ S.S.

Dear [Saint Matthew’s], ❝I have four brothers, I still have both of my parents. I am married and have a daughter that’s four years of age. I’d like to share my wonderful experience that happened to me. On Feb. 22 which was a Sunday evening, my mom received a letter from a friend to a friend. It was about your Prayer Rug that was sent in the letter. Well, before doing anything, I sat and read about how fortunate a family who succeeded was. After I read everything I was alone and prayed for all, and that I would like things to be right for our own family and others as well...I prayed for us to have some luck someday...I had only $50.00 and that was to last until payday which had to stretch for food and gas as well...$46,886.20 has me out of debt . It seems as if it was just a dream but that little dream came true . The day was a cloudy day and it sprinkled and I watched above the sky so high as if someone above me was reaching out to me. That one and only day was my special day to me...If I may have luck come again, I would like to help others.❞ Yolanda G.

These are some of the Scriptures that show when God, through Christ and His servants, ministered to the people’s needs, when prayer was answered, or when miracles and blessings came. They often used tangible earthly items as a point of faith contact and Seed Principle faith instructions. These were necessary for the people to receive the blessings of God. And when they did these things, we find that God wrought special miracles by using something tangible, or an Act of Seed Principle Faith to spark the Miracle Work of Faith within the believers. You may be a business person, a school teacher, a banker, or a factory worker, with a busy life that consumes your time, but through God’s Seed Harvest Plan, you can be a fulltime missionary to America . If you are not already a Seed Plan member, become one today. Send the postcard on the back of this book, write Saint Matthew’s Churches, ask for God’s Biblical Seed Harvest Plan, and take God as your partner. Make up your mind to give a seed gift to “God’s work” out of each financial blessing you receive from Him to be used to produce your next financial blessing.

ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH BE IT TO YOU
Matthew 9:29 (KJV)
The Perfect Will or plan of God for our lives is what God desires for each of us so that we might have divine freedom. One thing we all have in common is the desire to be free. We Can Be Free from Negativity of All Kinds: Sin, Guilt, Fear, Worry, Loneliness, Sorrow, Sickness, Suffering, Poverty, Lack, and Limitation of all kinds.
Now by faith, open your mind and heart to the truth and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Let mewith God’s help - show you how you can be free, knowledgeable, and have the perfect will of God in every phase of your life.
There is only one way to receive true freedom. Jesus gave us the answer when He said, “And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” Notice that the “truth” will not help you at all until you “know” it. Knowing the truth is the key to being free. John 8:32 (KJV)
Let us see how God’s blessings work for us concerning the truth; Jesus tells us, “According to

“AS

your faith, so be it unto you.” There is one condition God has attached to receiving all of His blessings. It is that you must have faith that He is going to do that which you desire. In other words, you will receive “the desires of your heart” “according to your faith.” Psalm 37:4 (NKJV); Matthew 9:29 (KJV)
YOUR HARVEST IS IN THE SEEDS YOU CHOOSE TO SOW.
Now, the truth is the Word of God, and your faith to receive your desires work hand in hand. The Bible says your “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” It is just that simple. It is impossible to believe God will do something

unless you first know that He has already promised to do it. The only way you will know what He has promised is by reading and learning His Word. Take note of all of the beautiful promises quoted from God’s Word as you read this book, and see for yourself His exact plan for you; what you can have and what you can be in life. Romans 10:17 (NKJV)
It is this truth that fills your heart and mind with Bible faith when you hear the Word of God.
The Word of God is truth and the food from heaven for your mind, heart, spirit, and soul. Jesus said, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.”
When we start trying to live by “bread alone,” we quickly discover that our hearts’ desires are always out of reach. Matthew 4:4 (KJV)
The Word of God is like a fruit; it will give you life only when you partake of it. You could be in the middle of a fully ripe apple orchard but starve to death unless you choose to eat some.
Only the truth you know can you apply to your life. First, you must hear (know) God’s truth about His promises to you. Then you must be a doer of the Seed Principle, taught in His Word, “don’t just listen

to God’s word. You must do what it says. Otherwise, you are only fooling yourselves.” James 1:22-25 (NLT)
I want you to know that it’s you and God working together that produces the blessing you need in your world. You cannot do it alone. You will never be able to do all that needs to be done in your life without God’s help. Regardless of how positively you try to live your life on your own, you will miss the mark without God’s daily blessing.
I am talking about you and Jesus, about His will, not just your will, about a divine partnership between you and God. God does His part as your heavenly Father, who is your divine source of supply. Your part is to take Him as your partner in life and regularly sow the right seed for Him to produce the good harvest you desire. God is love. He is as real to us as we allow Him to be. He understands you and your problems, and He wants you to be blessed. God promised to supply your needs according to His riches in Glory.
Remember this always: Every blessing that has come into your life has just been God smiling on you and showing you His love. You see, “He

sends rain on the just and the unjust.” All of us reap our harvests according to the seeds we have sown. God’s Word tells us that “man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.” In truth, those job promotions that people have received throughout life, the ones about which they bragged to everyone, also came from God: “ for promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge: He puts down one and sets up another.” Always give God the Glory and praise Him for every blessing you receive. Matthew 5:45 (LEB); John 3:27 (KJV); Psalm 75:6,7 (KJV/NKJV) ===
The Bible contains God’s truth.
• When you a promise in the Bible, it • When you come a commandment obey it • And when you a it
• When you find a promise in the Bible, claim it. • When you come to a c o m m a n d m e n t , obey it. • And when you read a truth, believe it.

WE MAY NEVER SEE TOMORROW
“Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near.” Isaiah 55:6 (NKJV)
To you who are unsaved, I believe today the Holy Spirit is striving in earnest for you to give your life to Christ. Whether you realize it or not, you have come to the very threshold of Heaven, and right now you can step over into that blessed world.
Please accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior before the Spirit of God leaves you, and the conviction is gone forever.
There are some who are reading these words who are almost persuaded to become a Christian. Take my advice and don’t let anything keep you away. Fly to the arms of Jesus in this hour. You can be saved if you will. The choice is yours. Choose life everlasting.
Christ is inviting you to come: “Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” Oh, may we all find rest in Christ now! Do not let anything divert your mind, but make up your mind this hour that you will settle this great

question of eternity. Then Email Saint Matthew’s Churches and tell us you were saved while reading this book, THE SEED PRINCIPLE, or that you want prayer for the salvation of your soul. We are here to pray with you for every need you may have, whether spiritual, physical, emotional, mental, or financial. Let us come together to agree with each other in prayer, as Jesus instructed us to do. “Also, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about something and pray for it, it will be done for you by my Father in Heaven.” Matthew 11:28 (KJV); Matthew 18:19 (NCV)
Here is the simple plan of salvation: we are sinners, and because we are sinners, we must die or believe in Christ who died in our place, was buried, and was raised again. Just repent, call upon God, realizing you are a sinner, and ask Him to have mercy upon you and save you for Jesus’ sake. Then take Him at His word, and by faith claim salvation. You might say, “Surely, that is not all that is necessary to be saved.” Yes, it is absolutely all. Thank God for every lost soul that has been saved since the days of Jesus here on earth. They have been saved to Christ by this simple Biblical plan. It is God’s plan, my friend. Believe it, and stand on God’s promises in His Holy Word! They never change.

After you are saved, there are three things to practice daily for your spiritual growth: Pray, talk to God, read your Bible, and let God speak with you; and witness, tell others that God has saved your soul. “Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my Father which is in heaven.” As soon as you have made your decision for Christ, confess Him before men. Tell someone that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Take your stand publicly with those who serve God. Do what the Apostle Paul instructed us to do when he said, “Don’t drink too much wine, for many evils lie along that path; be filled instead with the Holy Spirit and controlled by him.” God doesn’t only want you to be filled with the Spirit, but He wants you to stay filled with Him, because if you are filled with the Holy Spirit there will be no room in your life for sin. Also, it is the Holy Spirit that gives you the power to witness for our Lord. The last thing Jesus said to the apostles before He ascended up into Heaven was, “But when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, you will receive power to testify about Me with great effect, to the people in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria,

and to the ends of the earth, about my death and resurrection,” Then, you should be baptized in water and united with a soul-winning Church. Matthew 10:32; Ephesians 5:18 (TLB); Acts 1:8 (TLB)
We are privileged to call upon our Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. You were born for a special purpose on this earth. God is giving you a choice to follow Him or Satan. No one can make this choice for you. You must accept Christ on your own. I want you to go where you can be alone with God and say to Him, “Lord, I want to be saved from my sins. I want to give you my life.” Email to Saint Matthew’s Churches prayer group. We have been a soul-winning ministry for over seventy years. We want to pray with you; regularly read the Free Gospel Books and sermon/prayer Emails to help you live for Christ. === Amos 4:12 your

GOD LOVES YOU THIS MUCH
Saint Matthew’s Churches sells nothing. It is supported by your free will offerings. Further, neither this ministry’s prayers, nor the miracles of God can be bought. This ministry’s prayers are free of charge and miracles are contingent upon the will of God. Your offerings are a form of worshipping God according to scriptures such as Deuteronomy 12:6,11; Malachi 3:10; II Corinthians 9:7. We want you to know that it is one-hundred percent alright if you do not have any money to donate to this ministry. Please do not feel badly; write to us as long and as many times as you need prayer. We will be here to pray with you even if you never send a dime.
All printed statements in this book cover a time span of many years: they are reproduced as reported with editing being limited to grammatical construction, updating, clarification and space. This Ministry assumes no legal responsibility for the veracity or permanency of reported healings, miracles, or other happenings. All supernatural events and blessings are contingent upon spiritual condition relative to the individual and any other deviation from the intended divine plan could result in mental, physical, and/or spiritual set back (St. John 5:14). The pictures in this book are not Saint Matthew’s members; they are shown to place emphasis on the importance of the message. This Ministry is more than 70 years old. The testimonies in this book are of what God has done in answer to prayer. This home missionary ministry was established in 1951 and is for all people of all races. Everyone is welcome.
“According to your faith so be it unto you” (St. Matthew 9:20). Saint Matthew’s Churches prayer team is a small group of praying parents and grandparents whose lives are dedicated to praying for people and mailing out gospel books, sermon prayer letters and other Christian literature. Most of all we pray for people to be saved and be ready to meet Jesus when they die or when Jesus comes. We believe this is the most important thing in life, more important than success or material blessings. But, we also believe that the blessings of God are not limited to salvation of the soul. We believe you can have everything God promises you in the Bible. We believe God wants to bless you, his child, spiritually, physically, and financially (III John 2). We believe God wants his children to prosper and have the nicer things in life (Philippians 4:19). We pray for God to bless folks with their own businesses, more money, finer homes and automobiles. We believe God’s people can have the best of everything. It is God answering prayer, not us, that is making these wonderful things happen for people. Give God the praise.
We write our partners letters each month, all of the same faith-building nature. These items of faith, which we send out along with our letters, have no power but are merely spiritual faith handles like Jesus and His disciples used during their time to help people focus their faith on God.
If for any reason you do not wish to receive this church’s mail, please notify us and we will remove your name and address from our list.
