It is our special gift to you.

FOR MY MOTHER & FATHER Lord, I thank You for having given me good parents. My mother and father do so much for me. Please keep them with me for a long, long time. Help me to make them happy. Let us always love and understand each other just as Jesus, Mary and Joseph did in their house at Nazareth. Amen.

Jesus gave His all so that anyone who will believe can receive eternal life (John 3:16).

1. BESIDES HAVING TO ENDURE TREMENDOUS PAIN, THEY THEN TORE OFF JESUS’ CLOTHES. Jesus, how embarrassing this must have been for You. I pray for all those who live in poverty and who are ashamed that they don’t have the clothes and food they need.

2. JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS. Jesus, how much unbelievable torture You must have experienced when You were crucified! Please be with all the people who are hurting inside from loneliness or from feeling unloved at this difficult time in their lives.

3. JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS. Jesus, as You were dying on the cross, You prayed to your Father, and You thought of us with love. I pray for all those who may be near death.

4. JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS. Jesus, it was very painful for Your mother and Your friends to see You dead. Please comfort those who are sad because someone they love has died.

5. JESUS IS LAID IN THE TOMB. Jesus, when You were buried in the cave, Your friends were afraid that they would never see You again. Help all those who live in fear. Let them know that You are close to them.

6. JESUS RISES FROM THE DEAD. Jesus, You were raised from death to new life. May all Christians live the new life that they have received through faith and repentance of sin.

Thank You, for all the good they do.

A MIRACLE WAS PERFORMED CALIFORNIA - ❝ Dear [Saint Matthew’s Churches], …My husband was told he had a malignancy, which has spread over his entire body. They thought it might have started from his prostate gland. This worried me… I requested prayer for him. He was in the hospital two weeks before surgery. In the meantime he was given three treatments

of [radiation]… Surgery was January 14th…

He came home January 16th… He is doing fine; no pain. Doctors are satisfied with his response. He had an examination February.

“According to your faith so be it unto you” (St. Matthew 9:20). Saint Matthew’s Churches prayer team is a small group of praying parents and grandparents whose lives are dedicated to praying for people and mailing out gospel books, sermon prayer letters and other Christian literature. Most of all we pray for people to be saved and be ready to meet Jesus when they die or when Jesus comes. We believe this is the most important thing in life, more important than success or material blessings. But, we also believe that the blessings of God are not limited to salvation of the soul. We believe you can have everything God promises you in the Bible. We believe God wants to bless you, his child, spiritually, physically, and financially (III John 2).

We believe God wants his children to prosper and have the nicer things in life (Philippians 4:19). We pray for God to bless folks with their own businesses, more money, finer homes and automobiles. We believe God’s people can have the best of everything. It is God answering prayer, not us, that is making these wonderful things happen for people. Give God the praise.

We write our partners letters each month, all of the same faith-building nature. These items of faith, which we send out along with our letters, have no power, but are merely spiritual faith handles like Jesus and His disciples used during their time, to help people focus their faith on God.
