Matthew’s Churches],…I sent one of [your] Magazines, one of your letters, and a [blessed] cloth…to my sister… Her daughter…a 20-year-old was in a wreck, and it did a lot of brain damage. GEORGIA - Dear Saint Matthew’s Churches, ❝ Last year my husband woke up and was having pressure in

his head and spine, and a blood vessel was bursting in his head and he was having brain seizures.

He was in such bad shape. The doctors didn’t believe he was going to make it through surgery.

He was in a wheel chair to start after surgery, and the doctors did not believe he would ever walk again. They told me he would never walk again. DOCTORS GAVE HIM UP I N D I A N A - Dear Saint M a t t h ew ’s C h u rc h e s, Praise God, He has a n s we re d [ p raye r ] … I know God makes miracles.

He saved my four-yearo l d f ro m d e a t h l a s t year after the doctors gave him up. No one knows what he had. After two spinal taps, two brain waves and brain scope and 250 blood tests, they still found nothing but encephalitis. He had a fever of 106 or higher, lost complete use of his body, and was sick 16 days in the hospital and 5 days at home; only God pulled him through.

The doctor doesn't know why this happened, but we do. The doctors said they have never seen a family like us before. They know we love the Lord and trust Him completely, and we know it is God’s hand on our children that is healing them now… We have Jesus, and that’s all that really matters… It’s good to know that God will supply all our needs, especially spiritual…❞ J.H.S.

I wrote to you. I got your mail; I got your letter through the mail, and I read the letter. I just laid it aside and I kept going back and picking it up and laying it down.

At the same time I was facing a crisis.

My husband had walked off and left me with three children, three little girls, small girls.

After I got your letter, then I met another man and he wanted to marry. I was skeptical of marrying again. I wrote to you and asked you to pray with me and help me to make the right decision.

When I got your answer, I was lying in the bed, and I read the letter. You told me to put it under my pillow and I did.

We believe God wants his children to prosper and have the nicer things in life (Philippians 4:19). We pray for God to bless folks with their own businesses, more money, finer homes and automobiles. We believe God’s people can have the best of everything. It is God answering prayer, not us, that is making these wonderful things happen for people. Give God the praise.

We write our partners letters each month, all of the same faith-building nature. These items of faith, which we send out along with our letters, have no power but are merely spiritual faith handles like Jesus and His disciples used during their time to help people focus their faith on God.
