❝I have tears of joy. My childhood friend sent me a Christmas picture of her family…I texted her to say, ‘Thank you’ and to tell her that she has a beautiful family. I’VE CRIED TEARS OF SORROW. NOW I HAVE TEARS OF JOY! ❝Dear Saint Matthew’s Church, I never received a blessing until the last two weeks, and I know why. I didn’t really put God first. I put creditors first. Everyday I would start figuring on my bills first and plan to send my…[Seed Harvest Blessing donation] with what was left, if anything was left. I had gotten to the point where I owed more each month than I earned. I began to realize that God was my only hope. So, my next payday, I dug up an old [Seed Harvest Blessing Plan book]…that

I had laid back, and I sent my donation for three pledges. I did this first, before touching my bills. The next day, before you all received the donations, I received a money blessing and another money blessing the next day and still another money blessing last week. eople send all of these news articles to me about folks winning zillions of

dollars, betting on all types of games. I’m a 90-year-old church Bishop. I know zero about these games that people get so happy about, but I would be too if I did something and won all a lot of money for God’s Church. Here’s a funny experience I had regarding horse racing. A man came to me and said, “Rev., give me a number.” I didn’t have a clue as to why he wanted me to give him a number. So, I gave him my mailing address, and he said, “I’ve got to go catch me a horse.” Continued on next page

I thought he was a cowboy who had lost his horse. Someone said, “Rev., he’s asking you for a number because he thought that you, being a reverend, would give him good luck, and his wording, ‘to go catch me a horse’ could mean that he’s going to a horse race to place a bet.” I’ve never been to a horse race or a car race, and I know zero about gambling, but I can give you scriptures all day long.

Gladly, this aunt’s niece and nephew-in-law drove their aunt to a family baptism in Boston, Massachusetts. In appreciation, the aunt sent them a thank-you card with two “Lots of Green” scratch-off tickets. The card read, “Thank you very much. I had a very good time.” But, the couple nearly fainted when one of the tickets made them millionaires. “I was stunned,” said the nephew-in-law, a 51year-old sales executive. “I told our aunt, “We just won a million dollars!” The niece, 52-years-old, recalled, “I had to get my glasses, and I still couldn’t believe it. I called my aunt, and she couldn’t believe it either.” And yes, the happy couple plans to share their good luck with their thoughtful aunt, but they haven’t figured out how yet.

IT’S YOUR CHOICE! Guard your mind. Don’t let negative people fill your mind with bad, negative thoughts. Walk on the sunny side of life. It will help you every day. It will brighten up your way. Just walk by faith on the sunny side of life. Don’t let unbelievers fill your mind with doubt, fear, hate or negativity. Listen to how some people talk. Don’t let them pull you down.

STRENGTH FOR THE DAY When you expect the very best, you will receive the very best. Many people don’t know where to look when seeking God. Look to the present moment for calm, peace and happiness. Comforting thought: “…Lo, I am with you always…” St. Matthew 28:20 Once I let God’s light shine, I became a happy person again.

The voice of the Lord will speak to you and will lead you. “…Pray to Me, and I will listen to you.” Jeremiah 29:12 “I started praying seriously.” Believing that God can help you is the key to happiness. We need the Lord’s help to straighten out our situation. “The Lord is near to all who call upon Him…” Psalm 145:18

How Great You Are 1. O Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder, consider all the works Your hand has made; I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder, Your power throughout the universe displayed: Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to You, how great Your are! Johnny Cash’s and Bill Graham’s families took vacations together. Johnny Cash sang at many of Rev. Billy Graham’s crusades. Rev.
