This lady, Mrs. Emma Spiker, went from being homeless in a big city to being a homeowner. In her words to this old Bishop, in church service, she explained (paraphrased), “I did not have one dime. I was alone, walking the streets of Baltimore, sleeping where I could find a place to lie down at night. Now I have a home, money in the bank and two cars, and ‘one of them is a new car’, and I can’t even drive.”
This dear lady stood up during a church service in Washington, D.C. and told 10,000 people that she was homeless when she went into one of Saint Matthew’s special church services. Now, here is Sister Emma Spiker ’s

Mrs. Emma Spiker said that she was in the big city of Baltimore, homeless, and she had no money. She said (paraphrased), “I looked up and saw a sign that said, ‘We have three church services daily at 10:30 AM, 2:30 PM and 7:45 PM.’” She came into that 10:30 in the morning church service and listened to the old Bishop’s sermon.
After the service she asked the old Bishop if she could speak with him, and he said, “Yes, how can I help you?”
She told him that her name was Emma Spiker and that she was homeless. She said, “I’m not asking for anything, but I want to give to God, except I have nothing to give as seeds of faith.” The old Bishop said, “Sister, that’s fine. There’s no charge for prayer, ever, this church doesn’t sell anything, but you can give your heart and soul to God ,” and they joined hands and prayed together.
After they prayed, Mrs. Emma said, “I noticed that the Church has a lot of people in the service today . May I clean and mop the bathrooms? Do you think God would accept that as my seed offering to His Church? The old Bishop was so touched by that humble

offer, and he said, “Yes, and I’ll have someone take you to get some clothes and shoes, and we’ll give you a little money to help you.” Sitting by, in another church pew close by, was an African American lady named Mrs. Florence Butts, who overheard the entire conversation between Mrs. Spiker and the old Bishop. Mrs. Butts said, “I couldn’t help but hear your conversation. I live a short distance from the Church, and in my home it’s only my husband and me, and we have an extra bedroom that Mrs. Spiker can stay in. We can walk together to the Church.” This was a dear AfricanAmerican offering to take in a Caucasian homeless woman into her home. She was clearly not racist.
Now, pay close attention, because this true story get very interesting as a miracle is in the process of occurring later. Mrs. Spiker and Mrs. Butts became church ushers and good friends. Each day they walked to and from the Church to Mrs. Butts’ home several times each week, as we were having three church services daily. During those daily walks, they would pass by this lovely home where another African-American lady was sitting in her wheelchair. She had lost her legs to diabetes. Mrs. Spiker and Mrs. Butts would stop and visit with this lady in her wheelchair and got to know her well.

like to come and stay with her in her beautiful home and help her since she was alone in a wheelchair. The dear lady told Mrs. Spiker that she could live with her rent-free, and they could help each other. Mrs. Spiker agreed, and she and the lady in the wheelchair became good friends. Later, when the lady in the wheelchair passed away, unbeknown to Mrs. Spiker, the lady left her beautiful home, two cars and thousands of dollars in the bank to Sister Spiker.
As the church revival went on, the old Bishop noticed that this former homeless woman was giving $100.00 bill seeds to God in the church offering collection, so he asked

Seconds later an explosion, caused by a faulty gas-main connection, wrecked the three-bedroom house. Asked how he knew the accident was about to happen, Joachim replied: “I honestly don’t know. I just had this strange idea that something was about to happen. It was as if there was a voice saying ‘Go and fetch your mother and sister, otherwise it will be too late.’”

It looked like divine intervention when a gunman approached Helen Chavez’s car in Los Angeles (1998), and opened fire. He aimed his gun directly at her, fired a bullet into the front windshield, shattering the glass, then deflecting off a tiny statuette of Christ on the dashboard. The deflected bullet completely missed Helen Chavez.
The NFL’s Lombardi Trophy has found a home in the City of Angels after a stunning performance on Super Bowl Sunday night by

Kupp, who was on the sidelines during Super Bowl LIII due to an ACL injury, said that God revealed to him in a vision that the Rams would be back in the Super Bowl, and they would win it too.
Part of the vision , he said, was that “somehow” he was going to walk off the field as the MVP of the game. Kupp, 28, who has two young sons (Cooper Jr., 3, and Cypress, 1), said that he had only shared this information with his wife Anna. Kupp, who is Christian, said that he felt “free” knowing that he got to play “from
victory, not for victory.” He was able to play, feeling validated, because of God’s love for him, rather than because of his performance on the field.
Kupp scored two touchdowns on Super Bowl Sunday night, including a one-yard grab towards the end of the game, which secured the win for the Rams. He totaled eight catches for 92 yards on the night. The final score of

the game was 23-20, giving the Rams their second Super Bowl title ever.
In an interview with Sports Spectrum , prior to the Super Bowl, Kupp said that God taught him this season that he would be most fulfilled by staying rooted in God’s purpose for his life.
Kupp said that his motivation coming into a game day is to “run the race in such a way as to honor God” with the passions and talents that he has been given.
